Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. Friday at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Buddy Trull officiating.
He was born in Annarosa. He was a U.S. Marine Corp veteran.
Survivors Wife, Jean Covington of San Angelo; sons, Jim Covington of San Angelo, and Mike Covington of Odessa; sister, Teddy Percival of Auburn, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Clarence Edward Sheffield
Odessa - Clarence Edward Sheffield, 82, of Ruidoso, N.M., a retired drilling superintendent, died Sunday, July 24, 2005, in Alamogordo, N.M.
Memorial services were Wednesday, July 27, 2005, at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors with Bill Tatum officiating.
He was a Navy veteran.
Survivors Sons, Donald Sheffield of Odessa, and Michael Sheffield of San Diego, Chile; daughters, Anita Dewbre of Ruidoso, and Betty Jean Norman of Odessa; brothers, Leo Ray, Raleigh Ray, Bill Ray and Eugene Sheffield, all of Aransas Pass; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Fort Stockton - Ascencion Sarabia, 75, of Fort Stockton, died Tuesday, July 26, 2005, in Fort Stockton.

Survivors Daughters, Debra Kay Bell of Odessa and Ruby Arnette Boyd of Denver; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was born in Smith County. He was a Baptist and an Air Force veteran.

Midland - Richard Ray Romero Rivas, 38, of Midland, died Sunday, July 24, 2005, in Midland.

Marfa - Maximo Salgado Sotelo, 83, of Marfa, died Monday, July 25, 2005, at his residence.

He was born in Ruidosa. He was an Army veteran.

She was born in Villa Ocampo Guanajuato, Mexico. She was Catholic.

Services were held Monday, July 18, 2005, at The Chapel of The Good Shepherd, McNeil’s Mustang Funeral Service in Mustang, Okla. Services will also be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church of Bovina. Burial will be at Bovina cemetery. Arrangements are by Blackwell Funeral Home.

She was born in Kansas City, Mo. She was a member of the Southside Baptist Church.

She was born in Durango, Mexico, and moved to Seminole in 1960 from Faben.
SURVIVORS Sons, Ramon Lopez of Denver City, and Juan Lopez Jr. and Richard Lopez, both of Seminole; daughters, Rosa Maria Madrid of Hatch, N.M., Alicia Ramos and Maria Lusia Lopez, both of Las Vegas, Juana Jimenez of Seagraves, Angela Lopez of Slaton, Santos Reyes of Garden City, and Elvira Villareal of Seminole; brothers, Benito Astorga of Roswell, N.M., and Feliciano Astorga of Mexico; 46 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
