ANDREWS - Opal Crowe Thompson, 85, of McAllen, a retired file clerk for Amoco, died Friday May 20, 2005, at Twinbrook South Nursing Home in McAllen.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church chapel with the Rev. Jeff Donnell officiating. Burial will be at the Andrews West cemetery. Arrangements are by McNett Funeral Home.
Opal was born in Jennings, Okla. She was a 48-years resident of Andrews.
SURVIVORS Daughter, Diane Wood of Mission; brother, Jim Crowe of Alamonte, Fla.; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Odessa - Timothy Badillo, 74, of Odessa, an electrician, died Wednesday, June 29, 2005, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services will be at 9 a.m. today at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home with the Rev. Salvador Mayorga officiating. Burial will be at RoseHill cemetery.
He was born in Seguin.
Survivors Wife, Carmen Badillo of Odessa; son, Daniel Badillo of Victoria; daughter, Irene B. Houston of Abilene; sisters, Angie Carrizozas of Corpus Christi and Juanita Badillo of Midland; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

MESQUITE - Durinda Diane Cosper, 43, of Mesquite, died Monday, June 27, 2005, at a Dallas hospital.
Services were Thursday, June 30, 2005, at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Speer officiating. Burial was at Evergeen cemetery in Ranger.
She was born in Big Spring.
Survivors Husband, James Cosper Jr. of Mesquite; son, James Cosper III of Mesquite; parents, Joyce Lepard and James and Beth Cosper, all of Odessa; brother, Mike Lepard of Odessa, and Larry and Karen Cosper of Flower Mound.

Pecos - Elizer “Chel” Flores, 70, of Pecos, died Wednesday, June 29, 2005, at Medical Center Hospital.
Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. today at Santa Rosa Catholic Church. Burial will be at Mount Evergreen cemetery. Arrangements are by Peaceful Garden Funeral Home.
He was born in Toyah.
Survivors Wife, Consuelo Paz Flores of Pecos; son, Jaime P. Flores of Ruidoso Downs, N.M.; daughter, Glenda P.F. Natividad of Odessa; brother, Sylverio Flores of Santa Monica, Calif.; sister, Flora Lara of Pico Rivera, Calif.; and six grandchildren.

Stanton - Quata Laney Kirk, 77, of Midland, a credit bureau employee and a secretary for St. Paul United Methodist Church of Midland, died Wednesday, June 29, 2005, at a Midland care center.
Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Evergreen cemetery. Chapel Burial will be at Evergreen cemetery. Arrangements are by Stanton Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.
She was born in Eastland.

Wanda Louise Howell
San Antonio - Wanda Louise Howell passed away May 15, 20005, in San Antonio at the age of 66.
She is survived by her husband, David P. Howell; daughters, Sue Stanley, Lou Mock and husband, Kevin, and Vickie Sancho and husband, Frank; sons, Lynn McKay and wife, Gwen, and Phillip Kownatski and wife, Dawn; stepchildren, Wayne Howell and Helen Kashiwa and husband, Shinji; grandchildren, Ricky, Stephanie, Krystal, Shawn, Jackie, Jessica and Frankie; and step-grandchildren, Alysa, Patrick, Michael, Kaylie and Akani. She is also survived by one great-grandchild, Kylie.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, May 18, at Chapel Hill Funeral Home.
A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Sunset Memorial Park in San Antonio.
Services are entrusted to Chapel Hill Funeral Home of San Antonio.

L.C. Morgan
Coleman - Mrs. L.C. Morgan, 92, of Odessa, passed away Monday, May 16, 2005, at the Hospice House in Odessa.
She was born May 2, 1913, in Coleman County to the late Henry and Lillian Wolfrum May. On Oct. 19, 1946, she married Kenneth W. Morgan in Brownwood. L.C. was a retired nurse from the Medical Center Hospital and a member of the 6th and Jackson Church of Christ in Odessa.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth; one daughter, Sue Halfacre of Odessa; and two sons, Merrell and wife Eva Morgan of Phoenix, and Skippy and wife, Sherry Morgan of Lake Jackson. Also surviving her are six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Frank Wilson Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 18, at the Frank Wilson Funeral Chapel with Mr. Roy Smalling officiating.
Committal services will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Glen Cove cemetery with Mr. Joe Hailey officiating. Burial will follow.
Arrangements are under the direction of Walker Funeral Home of Coleman.

Odessa - Matthew Phillip Adkins, infant son of Tracey Michelle Adkins and Robert Joseph Slaughter, died Tuesday, July 12, 2005, at St. Paul’s Hospital in Dallas.

He was born in Jackson, Mich. He was an Army veteran.
