Odessa - Jerry Don “J.D.” Johnson, age 44, passed away Thursday, June 16, 2005, in Odessa.
Jerry was born in Dixon, Mo., Sept. 13, 1960. But he didn’t fully breathe life until he met his angel “Miss Linda.” She was the greatest love he ever knew. They had their first daughter, Jessica Reneé, in 1979. We are proud and thankful to have loved him for as long as we had him.
Jerry had a special calling “to serve and protect” that led him to pursue a career in law enforcement. He always fought for the underdog. We cannot sum up this great man’s life in a column. He lived out loud. He loved the Lord. He gave all he had… and that’s enough. May you rest in the arms of your Saviour forever.
