SUNDOWN -- Vonnie Comer Hudgens, 97, of Sundown, a homemaker, died Thursday, May 21, 1998, at Lynnwood Manor in Levelland following an illness.
Services were held at 4:30 p.m. Friday, May 22, 1998, at First Baptist Church in Sundown with the Revs. Bill Oliver, Bryce Sandlin and Gil Ramirez officiating. Burial followed at the City of Levelland cemetery.

He was born in Corsicana and came to Odessa from Winters in the 1950s.
He was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
