ODESSA -- Jose Balenzuela Trevino, 69, of Odessa, died Sunday, May 24, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital.

Services are pending with Martinez Funeral Home.

Tommy Wallace

ODESSA -- Tommy Wallace, 75, of Odessa, died Monday, May 25, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital.

Services are pending with Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

Deborah Allen

ODESSA -- Deborah Cleere Allen, 44, of Odessa, an employee of B.J. Services, died Sunday, May 24, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Vine Baptist Church with the Rev. Bobby Phillips officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

She was a long-time resident of Odessa and she was Baptist.

Survivors: Son, Charlie Ellis Allen of Odessa; daughter, Lisa Waite of Odessa; parents, Georgia and B.J. Cleere of Odessa; brothers, Benjamin Jefferson Cleere Jr., Roger Lynn Cleere and Freddy-Gayle Cleere, all of Odessa; sister, Nelda Jean Jenkins of Burleson; grandmother, Lena May Foreman of Odessa; and one grandchild.

Fay Bradley

ODESSA -- Fay Irena Tate Bradley, 95, of Odessa, a retired employee of Dunlap's Department Store, died Friday, May 22, 1998, at her residence.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.

She was born in Pittsburg, Kan., and a member of First Christian Church.

No survivors.

Vonnie Hudgens

SUNDOWN -- Vonnie Comer Hudgens, 97, of Sundown, a homemaker, died Thursday, May 21, 1998, at Lynnwood Manor in Levelland following an illness.

Services were held at 4:30 p.m. Friday, May 22, 1998, at First Baptist Church in Sundown with the Revs. Bill Oliver, Bryce Sandlin and Gil Ramirez officiating. Burial followed at the City of Levelland cemetery.

Arrangements by Geo C. Price Funeral Directors.

She was born in Winnsboro and was Baptist.

Survivors: daughters, Glenna Roe of Sundown, Melba Bradley of Albuquerque, N.M., and Mary Gilbreath of Odessa; son, Royce Comer of Sundown; sisters, Gennie Whiteside of Rockwall and Ima Lee Spencer of Gilmer; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Willis Lowe

ODESSA -- Willis `PeeWee' Lowe, 79, of Odessa, the retired owner of E&S Auto Parts, died Saturday, May 23, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Faith Tabernacle with the Rev. Scott Sprouse officiating. Burial will be at Rosehill cemetery. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

He was born in Corsicana and came to Odessa from Winters in the 1950s.

He was a member of the Assembly of God Church.

Survivors: Wife, Reba Lowe of Odessa; sons, Willis A. `Dub' Lowe Jr. of Allen and Richard Lynn Lowe of Fayetteville, Ga.; mother, Gertrude Lowe of Abilene; brother, Alton Lowe of Abilene; sister, Flo Savage of Houston; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Manuel Torres

PECOS -- Manuel Gomez Torres, 87, of Pecos, a retired Texas Railroad Commission employee, died Thursday, May 21, 1998, at Pecos Nursing Home.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Harkey Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Joe Vasquez officiating. Burial will be at Monahans Memorial cemetery. Arrangements by Harkey Funeral Home.

He was born in Candelaria and he was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors: Wife, Filomena Torres of Odessa; sons, Frank Torres of Alice and Manuel Torres Jr. of Austin; daughters, Nancy Hernandez of Pecos, Lazara Walker, Ramona Esparza and Rosa Vianes of Odessa, Irene Dodson and Susie Bernal of Midland and Eva Cavezuela of Carlsbad, N.M.; 62 grandchildren; and 102 great-grandchildren.

L.T. Waldrop

SEMINOLE -- L.T. `Levi' Waldrop, 83, of Seminole, owner of L.T. Waldrop Trucking Company, died Saturday, May 23, 1998, at Memorial Health Care Center in Seminole.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. today at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Ernest Wall officiating. Burial will follow at Gaines County Memorial cemetery. Arrangements by Boyer Funeral Home.

He was born in Girard, La., and was Baptist.

Survivors: Wife, Fleta Waldrop of Seminole; son, Fred Waldrop of Round Rock; daughters, Regina Garrett of Seminole, Carolyn Sue Jones of Corpus Christi and Ladonna Flora of Kalamazoo, Mich.; brother, Clyde Waldrop of Toledo Bend; sisters, Louise Woodward of Prairie Grove, Ark., and Helen Marie Worsham of Plains; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Gail Boman

ODESSA -- Gail Boman, 80, of Odessa, a retired Northern National Gas employee, died Friday, May 22, 1998, at his home.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Brunson Memorial cemetery in Eunice, N.M., with the Rev. Keeney Dickenson officiating. Arrangements by Calvary Funeral Home.

He was born in Kansas and moved to Odessa from Eunice in 1996. He was Baptist.

Survivors: Sons, Dan Suiter and Gene Boman, both of Odessa, Jerald Boman of Blythe, Ariz., and Robert Boman of Katy; daughters, Edith Mayfield of Merced, Calif., Glenda Hansl of Euless and Paula Lokay of Boyd; sister, Mary Gardner of Great Bend, Kan.; brother, J.T. Bowman of Phoenix, Ariz.; 27 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.

Ramon Gomez

ODESSA -- Ramon Sanchez Gomez, 75, of Odessa, a retired contract laborer, died Friday, May 22, 1998, at his home.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Martinez Funeral Home with the Rev. Julian Gonzales officiating. Burial will be at Rosehill cemetery. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.

He was born in Pecos and was Baptist.

Survivors: Wife, Merced Gomez of Odessa; daughters, Tina Flores, Hilda Subia, Delma Longoria and Adelia Dominguez, all of Odessa; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

ODESSA -- Frances E. Bell, 72, of Odessa, died Thursday, May 21, 1998, at New Horizon Nursing Center.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Odessa Funeral Home Angeles Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Odessa Funeral Home Angeles Memorial Chapel.

She was born in Kansas City, Mo.

Survivors: Daughters, Ronnie Brown of Odessa; Terry Adams of Harper; sons, Joe Sanders of Odessa and Bill Sanders of Chicota; brother, William Higgins of Houston; sister, Ruth Frazier of Austin; 17 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
