Graveside services will be held at 9 a.m. today at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Terry Pugh officiating. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
He was born in Auburn, Miss., and moved to Odessa in 1952 from Brookhaven, Miss. He was Pentecostal.
Survivors: Daughter, Connie Kerley of Odessa; sons, Ronald Richardson and Joey Richardson, both of Odessa; sister, Dixie Wallace of Brookhaven, Miss.; and three grandchildren.

BIG SPRING -- Ramona Vasquez, 66, of Big Spring, a homemaker, died Thursday, May 21, 1998, at her residence after a lengthy illness.
Rosary was said May 22, 1998, at Myers & Smith chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. today at Immaculate Heart of St. Mary Catholic Church with the Rev. Jerry McCarthy officiating. Burial will be at St. Joseph's cemetery in Stanton. Arrangements by Myers & Smith Funeral Home.
She was born in Caldwell and moved to Big Spring in 1990 from Levelland. She was Catholic.
Survivors: Husband, Raul Vasquez of Big Spring; son, Rene Vasquez of Levelland; daughters, Mary Rodriguez of Midland, Alice Matta of Andrews, Susie Escontrais and Yrma Rodriguez, both of Midland, Rosa Romero of Levelland, Angie Alvizo, Patsy Castilo and Peggy Escamilla, all of Big Spring; 50 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

BIG LAKE -- Delores (Lola) Baiza Avila, 86, of Big Lake died Wednesday, May 20, 1998, at Crane County Care Center.

ALPINE -- Roberta Carter Shortt, 83, a retired registered nurse, died Wednesday, May 20, 1998, at Memorial Hospital in Midland after a short illness.

She was born in Roseland, Va. She was Presbyterian.

She was born in Sonora and had been a resident of Odessa since 1946.

He was born in Joy and had been a resident of Denver City since 1949. He was a Baptist.

ODESSA -- Faye Josaphine Bruce, 93, of Odessa, a retired school teacher and homemaker, died Friday, May 15, 1998, at New Horizons Nursing Home.

She was born in Palo Pinto County and moved to Odessa in the 1930s from Erath County. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
