Seminole - Alfonso Castillo, 90, of Seminole, a custodian at West Texas NationBank, died Tuesday, June 7, 2005, in Denver City.
Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. today at St. James Catholic Church with Ramon Almager officiating. Burial will be at Gaines County cemetery. Arrangements are by Boyer Funeral Home.
He was born in Mexico.
Survivors Son, Armando Castillo of Seminole; daughter, Esperanza Fernandez; and several grandchildren.

Anna Mae Darilek
Merkel - Anna Mae Darilek, 69, of Kingsland, died Tuesday, June 7, 2005, in Kingsland.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Rose Hill cemetery with David Heath officiating. Arrangements are by Putnam Funeral Home of Kingsland.
She was born in Merkel.
Survivors Son, Wes Aiken of Horseshoe Bay; daughter, Delores Wiley of El Paso; brother, Robert Roberts of Hobbs, N.M.; sisters, Tennie Lee Asbury of Arlington, and Mary Lou Rhodes of Georgetown; and five grandchildren.

Manuel U. Garcia
Monahans - Manuel U. Garcia, 79, of Monahans, a truck driver, died Monday, June 6, 2005, in Monahans.
Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. today at St. John Catholic Church with the Rev. John Lucido officiating. Burial will be at Monahans Memorial cemetery. Arrangements are by Family Funeral Services/Jackie Harkey.
He was born in Lajitas. He was an Army veteran.
Survivors Wife, Maria P. Garcia of Monahans; daughter, Irene P. Gonzales of Monahans; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Yevon Marie Rivas
Monahans - Yevon Marie Rivas, 62, of Monahans, a homemaker, died Tuesday, June 7, 2005, in Monahans.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Family Funeral Services Chapel with the Rev. Owen Sharp officiating. Burial will be at Monahans Memorial cemetery.
She was born in El Paso.
Survivors: Son, Ray Chamblee of Monahans; daughter, Bobbie Machina and Eva Dillard, both of Monahans; brother, Walter Thomas of Dallas; sisters, Maudie Oliver and Retha McCall, both of Monahans, and Lynn Reist of Houston; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Katie Lou Sessions
Monahans - Katie Lou Sessions, 94, of Midland, a homemaker, died Monday, June 6, 2005, in Midland.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. today at the First Baptist Church of Monahans with Dr. Tony Dyer officiating. Burial will be at Monahans Memorial cemetery. Arrangements are by Family Funeral Services/Jackie Harkey.
Survivors Son, Charles Sessions of Midland; sister, Marie Kirkland of Burleson; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Alice Ann Webb
Big Spring - Alice Ann Webb, 73, of Big Spring, a homemaker, died Tuesday, June 7, 2005, at Midland Memorial Hospital.
Funeral Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Myers & Smith Chapel. Burial will be at Mount Olive Memorial Park.
She was born in Howard County. She was a Baptist.
Survivors Husband, Gilbert Webb of Big Spring; sons, David Webb of Austin, and Paul Webb of Big Spring; brother, Lyndell Ashley of San Antonio; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Pamela Beth Cates
Odessa - Pamela Beth Cates, 52, of Odessa, died Monday, June 6, 2005, at her residence in Gardendale.
Services are pending with Odessa Funeral Home.

Fort Stockton - Anna M. Celaya, 36, of Fort Stockton, died Wednesday, June 8, 2005, in Fort Stockton.

Odessa - Uel Dallas McCleery, 81, of Odessa, died Wednesday, June 8, 2005, at his residence.
Services are pending with Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.

Patricia McGee
Mesquite - Patricia McGee, 48, of Mesquite, died Wednesday, June 8, 2005, at Mesquite Community Hospital in Mesquite.
Services are pending with Martinez Funeral Home.

Jeremy Douglas Bennett
Odessa - Jeremy Douglas Bennett, 49, of Odessa, passed away at Medical Center Hospital, Monday, October 24th, 2005, after a motor vehicle accident in Odessa.
Mr. Bennett was born October 11th, 1956, in Oxford, England to Robert R. Bennett, and Aileen L. Atkinson. He served in the United States Marine Corps and worked as a caser in the oilfields.
Jeremy is survived by his mother; Aileen Quinn, and her husband Courtney Quinn, of Kennesaw, Georgia, his father; Robert Bennett, of Odessa, a brother; Scott Porter of Canton, Georgia, and a sister; Lisa Rawlins, of Dallas, Georgia, also four nieces and four nephews.
The family will have a visitation in his honor, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, the 28th of October, 2005, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
Services and interment will take place at a later date in Kennesaw, Georgia.
Services have been entrusted to Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

Lorene A. Davis
Crane - Graveside services for Lorene A. Davis, 87, of Crane will be held at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, October 27, 2005, at the Crane County cemetery with William Lockhart officiating. Miss Davis passed away Wednesday, October 26, in the Crane Nursing & Rehab Center.
Arrangements are under the direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home of Crane.
Lorene was born April 6, 1918, at Wellington, Kansas. She was a retired teacher and librarian having taught in Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Bertha B. and Wilber A. Davis; a brother, H. Anthony Munger, of San Antonio, Texas, two sisters; Frances Fass of Kansas City, Kansas, and Florence Gottschalk of Oregon City, Oregon.
Lorene is survived by Seiko T. Munger of Bulverde, Texas; Maiya and her husband, Mitchell L. Huffman of San Antonio, Texas, and their children; Anthony Cole and Avery Quinn; Robert Lewis, Tony Munger and wife, Mary, of Harvey, Louisiana; Albert Gottschalk and wife, Ellen, of Oregon City, Oregon; Gerald L. Fass and wife Deanna, of Kansas City, Kansas; other nieces and nephews. And special friends; Matt and Betty Laws of Crane, and William Lockhart, also of Crane.

Tomas Vasquez Galindo
Odessa - Tomas Vasquez Galindo 57, of Odessa passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2005 at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa.
Rosary will be 7:00 pm Thursday in the Frank Wilson Chapel.
Funeral Mass will be 1:00 pm Friday at St. Elizabeth Anne Seton Catholic Church with Father Mark Woodruff officiating. Burial will follow at Rosehill cemetery.
He was born March 13, 1948 in Pecos, Texas to Domingo and Pauline (Vasquez) Galindo.
He is preceded in death by his father and father in law Manuel Olivas.
He is survived by his wife Anita Galindo of Odessa, two sons Tommy Ray Galindo and wife Kacee of Odessa, Micheal Jay Galindo and wife Kari of Odessa; one daughter Melissa Lynn Jones and husband Micheal of Odessa; mother Pauline Galindo of Odessa; mother in law, Ynes Olivas of Odessa; two brothers Rene Galindo of Pecos, Jack Wayne Galindo of El Paso; two sisters Carmen Galindo of Odessa, Yolanda Rodriquez of Odessa; four grandchildren Meagan Lyndsi Jones, Mallory LeAnn Jones, Mazee Rea Galindo, and Micheal Adon Tomas Galindo
Services entrusted to Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.

John L. Smith
Odessa - John L. Smith went to be with his Lord on Monday, October 17, 2005. He was born May 9, 1940 in Comanche Country, Kansas to Freman and Edyth Smith. He preceded in death by his father, mother, sister and step dad, John Black.
He is survived by his wife Marjorie F. Smith, two daughters, Karen Maynard and husband, Rodney of Irving, Tx, Kolenna Strange and husband, Ray, of Odessa, Tx, one grandson, Jeremy Maynard of Abilene, Tx and two granddaughters, Natalie Maynard and Bethany Maynard of Irving, Tx; two brothers, Frank Smith of Coldwater, Kansas and Roy Black of Hartford, Kansas, one sister, Carolyn Smith of Wichita, Kansas; and a host of family and friends.
John was a professional truck driver for 43 years in the Permian Basin, retiring in 2002 from Weatherford USA. Since that time he has enjoyed a life long goal of volunteering in Texas State Parks as a Campground Host. He spent numerous hours in Palo Duro Canyon State Park and in Fairfield Lake State Park.
Services will be 10:00 am Friday in the Frank Wilson Chapel with Rev. Jerry Slye officiating. Burial will follow at 2:00 pm in the Gains County cemetery in Seminole, Tx. Visitation will be 7-8:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Gaylon Burleson, Johnny Mitchell, John Commander Jr, Les Rollins, Steve Stone and Roy Black
Services entrusted to Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.

Audrey Walker
ODESSA - Audrey Walker, 52, of Odessa, passed away Sunday, Oct. 16, 2005, at Medical Center Hospital.
Audrey was born in Aug. 15, 1953 to the late Henry Smith Jr. and Marjorie Malone Miller in Rockdale. She was a proud member of King Solomon Missionary Baptist Church all of her life.
Survivors: One son, Antione Walker of Odessa; daughters, Kasheva Smith and Tekeya Smith, both of Odessa; her mother, Majorie Miller of Odessa; brother, Tony Smith of Houston; sisters, Linda Moore and husband Calvin, and Eula Taylor, all of Odessa, Sandra Billups and Sherry Flax and husband Sammy, all of Bryan, Paula Morgan and husband Donnie and Charlette Smith, all of Killeen; five grandchildren: Jamia, Jazmine, and Joshua Graham, Kiara Smith, and Akembrea Walker; and many nieces and nephews all who admired her greatly.
Services to celebrate her life is scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 21, 2005, at Rose of Sharon Missionary Baptist Church (Rev. J.W. Hanson, pastor) with the Rev. G.T. Garnett officiating.
Burial will follow at Rose Hill cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Odessa Funeral Home.

Ralph LeRoy West
Granbury - Ralph LeRoy West, 79, a finish carpenter, passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2005, in Fort Worth. Funeral: 11 a.m. Saturday at Wiley Funeral Home. Burial: Holly Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Mr. West was born August 30, 1926, in Coleman, Texas, to Clarence and Ruby Cate West. He married Ruth LouElla Peterson, August 21, 1943, in Runnels County, Texas. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a member of Waples Baptist Church. Mr. West was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Yoma Fowler and Dora Henson, and a brother, Raymond West.
Survivors: Children: Jim West and wife, Donna, of Atlanta, Georgia, Sharon Henson of Granbury, Kay Alexander and husband, Jerry, of Benbrook, Kim Martin and husband, Greg, of Tracy, California; 11 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; sister, Evelyn Singletary of Andrews, Texas; brother, Robert West of Abilene, Texas; nieces and nephews.
