Services are pending with Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

ODESSA - Michael Blaylock, 46, of Odessa, died Saturday, Sept. 10, 2005 at Hospice House in Odessa.
Services are pending with Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.

William ‘Bill’ Birkes
Flora, Ill. - William “Bill” Birkes, 72, of Monahans, a pumper and maintenance foreman for Shell Oil Co., died Saturday, Aug. 13, 2005, at Hospice House.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Frank & Bright Funeral Home of Flora, Ill., with the Rev. Bryan Bennett officiating. Burial will be at Elmwood cemetery.
He was born in Braman, Okla.
Survivors Wife, Gale Birkes of Monahans; daughter, Gina Baker of Monahans; brother, Floyd Birkes of Oklahoma City; sisters, Edna Stuber of Centralia, Ill., and Sue Yates of Flora, Ill.; and two grandchildren.

Alex Knelsen
Seminole - Alex Knelsen, 4-month-old son of Jake and Margaret Knelsen of Denver City, died Saturday, Aug. 13, 2005, in Gaines County.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Gospel Mennonite Church in Seminole with the Rev. David Klassen officiating. Burial will be in the Babyland section at Gaines County cemetery.
He was born in Denver City.
Survivors Sisters, Tina Knelsen, Judy Knelsen and Christy Knelsen, all of Denver City; grandparents, John and Agatha Thiessen of Brownwood, and Peter and Aganetha Knelsen of Mexico; great-grandparents, Katherina Thiessen and Margaretha Hildbrand, both of Mexico.

FORT DAVIS - Mary D. McNamara, 89, of Fort Davis, died Saturday, Aug. 13, 2005, at the Inn of Fort Davis.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Elm Grove cemetery with the Rev. Elaine Ponton officiating. Arrangements are by Geeslin Funeral Home.
She was born in Lubbock.
SURVIVORS: Son, Jack D. McNamara of Alpine; brothers, Dr. James Scudday of Alpine and Walter Scudday of Georgetown; and two grandchildren.

Seminole - Mercedes Sanchez, 69, of Seminole, a homemaker, died Sunday, Aug. 14, 2005, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. James Catholic Church with the Rev. Timothy Judd officiating. Burial will be at Gaines County cemetery. Arrangements are by Boyer Funeral Home.
She was born in Ojinaga, Mexico. She was member of St. James Catholic Church.
Survivors Husband, Abelardo Sanchez of Seminole; sons, Alonso Sanchez, Rogelio Sanchez and Artemio Sanchez, all of Seminole, and Jose Luis of Ojinaga, Mexico; daughters, Rosa Grado and Elizabeth Sanchez, both of Seminole, Dora Sotelo of Presidio and Gloria Sanchez of Ojinaga, Mexico; 24 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Midland - Juanita Lee Green, 72, of Monahans, died Saturday, Aug. 13, 2005, in Midland.
Services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday at Monahans Memorial cemetery with the Sister Bertha Dunson officiating. Burial will be at Monahans Memorial cemetery.
Services are under the direction of Family Funeral Services/Jackie Harkey.
She was born in Valier, Montana.

Rosary will be said 7 p.m. Monday at Martinez Funeral Home. Mass will be celebrated 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at St Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Joe Uecker officiating. Burial will follow at RoseHill cemetery.
