Wilma Longshore
Odessa - Wilma Longshore, our precious mother, and Nannyshore left this home to be with her Lord on Saturday, November 26, 2005. Her love of her garden, and beautiful flowers was surpassed only by her love of God, family and friends. She was a loyal Baptist, always active in her Church. She touched the life of many a child when she was Nursery Attendant at East Side Baptist Church for many years. She is a current member of West Odessa First Baptist Church.
She was born on July 19, 1910 in Roanoke, TX to Meekly and Mamie Martin. She married
Tom Longshore, December 2, 1933 in Post, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, son Curtis Longshore, grandson Curtis Glenn Longshore, her parents, two brothers and two daughters-in-law.
She is survived by her daughter, Melba Greenlee of Odessa, sons Wayne Longshore of Odessa, Bobby Longshore and wife Frances, and Billy Longshore of Andrews, grandchildren, Barbara Creger, Beverly Gibbs & husband Ric, Trina Dean & husband Gregg, Cindy Jones & husband Danny, Jodie Gonzales & husband Daniel, Mark Longshore & wife Sherri, Michael Henry & wife Nichole, and Amy Henry, great-grandchildren: Jason Hutson & wife Santos, Tamina Wright & husband Chad, Holly Stevens & husband Bradley, Sean Gonzales & wife Marlyne, Brittany Gonzales, Eydie Guelker, Grant Guelker, Clay Guelker-Dean, Cody Davis, Anley Longshore, Austin Henry, Madison Henry, Lauren Henry, Landon Henry, great-great-grandchildren, Tyler Hutson, Gracela Hutson, Cody Rommell, Tesla Wright & Garrett Wright and her special care-giver Gloria Nabarrette.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, November 29, 2005 at Hubbard-Kelly Chapel with Rev. L.D. Green, Ted Short and Glenn Clark officiaing. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Garden.
She planted her seeds of love on earth, and will gather her bouquets in heaven. She will always have a special place in our hearts, and is too well loved to ever be forgotten.

Juan L. Rodriguez
Fort Davis - Juan L. Rodriguez, 72, passed away, Sunday, November 27, 2005 at Providence Hospital in El Paso.
Rosary was said on Monday, November 28th at 7:00 PM at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 29th at 11:00 AM at the church with Father Mike Alcuino officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph’s Catholic cemetery. Funeral services are under the direction of Geeslin Funeral Home.
Mr. Rodriguez was born on June 24, 1933 in Ft. Davis to Antonio and Maria Lara Rodriguez. On November 5, 1950, Juan was wed to Patsy Silvas. He was employed by Prude Ranch as a ranch hand and cook for many years. He retired after 25 years with the Texas Highway Department. His favorite past time was barbecuing and he enjoyed cooking at the Bloys Encampment.
Juan is preceded in death by his parents, several half brothers and half sisters.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Patsy Rodriguez of Ft. Davis; his five children, Yolanda Jimenez of Austin, Johnny Rodriguez and his wife Glenda of Odessa, Leroy Rodriguez of Ft. Davis, Lora Powell of Alpine, and Bonnie Hamilton and her husband Jason of Alpine; his twin brother, Manuel Rodriguez of Ft. Davis; his half sister, Francisca Bustamante of Alpine; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Bob Munsell
Odessa - Bob Munsell, 67, of Big Spring, waged a heroic battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia and went to be with his Lord at 2:25 a.m., Friday, November 25, 2005, at Midland Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will at the First Baptist Church, Big Spring, TX, with the Rev. Dennis Teeters, pastor, and Don Brodie, officiating and interment at 4:00 PM at Pecan cemetery in Dublin, Texas.
Bob was born on August 9, 1938 and married
Beverly Cole on January 30, 1981.
Bob was an active member of First Baptist Church where he gave unselfishly of himself to others. He was known for always greeting others with a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye. Bob also participated in volunteer work at the Veterans Hospital on Sundays.
After retirement from Hunt Oil Company in Knox City, he was employed with Texas Railroad Commission Oil and Gas Division of Big Spring.
His hobbies included gardening and watching his precious grandchildren grow up.
Bob is survived by his wife, Beverly, of Big Spring; his children, Robert Matthew Munsell and his wife, Stacey of Big Spring; Latissha Munsell of Big Spring; Stephen Lee Munsell and wife, Karen of Odessa; Deana Lynn Eaton and her husband, Ernie, of Gardendale; six grandchildren; Maddie, Meagan and Montie Munsell of Big Spring; Stephanie and Kari Munsell of Odessa; and Ray Eaton of Gardendale; one sister, Judy Littleton and husband, James of Stephenville; two brothers, James Munsell and wife, Dorinda of Carlton and Kenneth Munsell and wife, Marsha of Andrews, one niece and six nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Mark & Mable (King) Munsell; his brother, Freddie Joe Munsell; his nephew, Donnie Lee Munsell and his great nephew, Ryan Heath Moody.

Steven Lamb Rodgers
Odessa - Steven Lamb Rodgers, 71, of Odessa passed away Friday, November 25, 2005, at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. He was born August 1, 1934, in Madisonville, KY to Ben and Vina Lamb Rodgers. He is preceded in death by his parents, his sister Doris Coleen Rodgers, and his brother Joseph Rodgers.
Steve graduated from Augusta Tilghman High School in Paducah, KY and Armstrong State University in Savannah, GA. He married
Margie LeCureux Hale on June 18, 1977, in Odessa.
He entered the United States Army in 1955 and retired at the rank of Major in 1976. He served three full tours in Vietnam (1964-65, 1967-68, 1971-72) as a helicopter pilot. He was awarded the Air Medal with oak leaf cluster, the Bronze Star Medal with two oak leaf clusters, and the National Defense Service Medal with oak leaf cluster, in addition to the Vietnam Campaign Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal, the Army Commendation Medal and the Meritorious Service Medal. He taught J.R.O.T.C. at Odessa High School from 1976 to 1984. He founded Stemarco, Inc., an engraving firm, in 1981, and was currently the owner.
Steve was a member and past president of the Odessa Tri-Service Lions Club. He served as District Governor of Lions Clubs International, Executive Director of the Lions Eye Bank Permian Basin, and District Director of the Texas Lions Camp. He received the Cullen Akins Award in 1989 as Lion of the Year for District 2-T3. He was a progressive Melvin Jones Fellow, a progressive Jack Weich Fellow, a Texas Lions Foundation Fellow, and a life member of the Texas Lions Camp.
Steve was a member of the Builders Class of First United Methodist Church which he previously served as teacher. He was also a life member of the American Legion, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the Disabled American Veterans.
Steve is survived by his wife, Margie Rodgers of Odessa, daughters Stephanie Wynn Strain of Bowling Green, KY, Ramona Russell and husband Mark of Odessa, Frances (Bené) Fann and husband Jerry of LaVergne, TN, step-son David Hale of Chicago, IL, grandchildren Carol Rey Ollinger, Travis Strain, Luke Russell, Jacob Strain, Hope Russell, Katherine Fann, Hannah and Sophia Hale, great-granddaughter Daizy Lindvall, and mother-in-law Theo LeCureux.
Visitation will be held at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, November 29. Funeral services will be at First United Methodist Church, 415 North Lee, Odessa, TX, at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, November 30 with Rev. Donnie Williams officiating. Military honors will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are Shawn Clapper, Roger Cash, Gordon Gillette, Clifford Ray, Val Wilcox and Joe Parish.

Jeanine H. Clark
Odessa - Shirley Jeanine H. Clark was born November 3, 1936 in Gholson, Texas to James and Gertrude Hill. She was called home to be with her Lord and her husband Bill on Saturday, November 26, 2005.
Jeanine was raised in Gholson and Waco area until she completed her education and moved to Odessa. Jeanine met the Love of her life, Bill Clark, on a blind date.
Jeanine and Bill Clark were married
November 2, 1957 in Seminole, Texas.
Jeanine was a wife and homemaker until her children were in school and she returned to her secretarial career. Jeanine was the church secretary at Kingston Avenue Baptist Church for 10 years, before working in real estate and then her own secretarial service.
Jeanine was active in her church with the women’s programs and the young girls organizations. Her favorite charities were the Christian Children’s Fund and St. Jude’s Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years Bill Clark, parents James L. and Gertrude Hill, brother Butch Hill and stepson William Clark.
She is survived by two sons Mark Clark and son and daughter- in- law Darren and D’Ann Clark of Odessa, daughter-in-law Lana Clark of West Virginia, grandchildren Brandon Clark of Alaska, Cori Clark of Oregon, Justin Clark and wife Jessica of Ft. Worth, Brady Clark and Derek Clark of Odessa, Will Clark and Jessica Clark of West Virginia, sisters Pam Frady and husband Don, Rosemary McNatt and husband Don all of Odessa, and many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons and great-nephew Michael McNatt.

Doris Elizabeth Austin
Odessa - Doris Elizabeth Austin, age 83, a long time resident of Odessa passed away Friday, November 25, 2005 at Medical Center Hospital. She was born on January 26, 1922 to Oran and Lavina Green in Electra, TX.
Doris worked as a secretary for Amoco Production for 27 years. She was a member of the Eastern Star and First United Methodist Church.
Doris is survived by her husband William Austin of Odessa as well a numerous nieces and nephews and a large extended family.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 29, 2005 at the First United Methodist Church with Pastor Donnie Williams and Associate Pastor Jeannie Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Garden.

Michael Eugene Clemens
Odessa - Michael Eugene Clemens, 60, passed away November 27th, 2005 at his residence in Midland County, Texas.
Michael was born November 18, 1945 in Denver, Colorado, to Eugene Allen Clemens, and Martha Jane Gates Clemens. He was reared in Greeley, Colorado, and graduated from High School in El Paso, Texas. He married
Carol R. Jones Clemens, November 22, 1986 in Odessa, Texas.
Mr. Clemens was the retired owner of ClemCo Engines. Michael was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church, the American Liver Foundation, the American Cancer Society, and the National Rifle Association.
Michael is survived by his wife, Carol; his mother, Jane Gates Lundren, of San Francisco, California; a brother, Steve Clemens and his wife Jennifer, of Denver, Colorado; sister, Candy Clemens, of San Francisco, California; niece, Jesica Gardner and her husband Michael of Las Vegas, Nevada; niece, Amelia Clemens, of Las Vegas, Nevada; an aunt, Twila Brown and husband Dick, of El Dorado, Ohio; stepsons, Charles Patterson of Odessa, and Sean Patterson and his wife Traci, grandchildren, Jacob Patterson, and Savannah Patterson all of San Antonio, Texas.
Services celebrating his life will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Thursday, December 1, 2005, at Immanuel Baptist Church in Odessa, Texas, with Dr. Mark Riley officiating.
Visitation for Mr. Clemens will be all day on Tuesday November 28th, and Wednesday November 29th at Sunset.

Ervin Lester Martin
Portales, N.M. - Ervin Lester Martin, age 71 of Odessa passed away Friday, November 25, 2005 at his home. He was born on May 30, 1934 to Aaron and Velma Martin in San Jon, N.M. He married
Carol Vance Nov. 20, 1954 in Portales, N.M. He was a retired mechanic for the Ector County School District. He was a member of the West Odessa First Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Carolyn and (3) brothers.
Ervin is survived by his wife of 51 years Carol, and a son Andrew Martin of Odessa as well as 3 grandchildren, Ashley & Randy Martin & Amber Yesconis, 1 great-grandchild, Aaron Yesconis and (3) brothers & (3) sisters.
A family visitation will be held from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday at Wheeler Mortuary in Portales, N.M.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2005 at the West Odessa First Baptist Church with Pastor Glen Clark officiating.
Graveside services will be held at 10 AM, Mountain time, Wednesday, November 30, 2005 at the Portales cemetery.
