IMPERIAL -- Manuel E. Vejil, 74, of Imperial, a farmer, died Monday, Feb. 2, 1998, at his residence.
Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Thursday at Imperial Community Center. Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Friday at Imperial Community Center with the Rev. Jim Cheaumont officiating. Burial will be at Imperial cemetery. Arrangements by Fort Stockton Funeral Home.
He was born in Buena Vista and was a lifelong resident of Imperial. He was Catholic.

SAN ANGELO -- Monroe F. Venable, 88, of San Angelo, a retired insurance agent, died Monday, Feb. 2, 1998, at a local hospital.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m Thursday at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens with the Rev. J. Earl Dunn officiating. Arrangements by Johnson's Funeral Home.
He was born in Mills County and had been a San Angelo resident since 1942. He was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Son, Darrell Venable of Odessa; daughters, Joyce Marlene Piel of Ballinger, Mona Rea Milller of Mereta; nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

FORT STOCKTON -- Mary E. "Ella" Whittenburg, 85, of Fort Stockton, a homemaker, died Monday, Feb. 2, 1998, at Pecos County Memorial Hospital.
Services will be held at 4 p.m. today at the Church of Christ with Harold Durham officiating. Burial will be at East Hill cemetery.

She was born in Andrews and had lived in Fort Stockton since 1957. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

LOVINGTON, N.M. -- Ruth E. Aiguier, 82, of Lovington, N.M., a homemaker, died Sunday, Feb. 1, 1998, at Lovington Good Samaritan.

She was born in Moore, Okla., and lived in Lovington four years.

He was born in Memphis, Tenn., and was Lutheran.

She was born in May, Texas and was a resident of Odessa for 56 years.
