Monahans - Irene Crowson, 93, a homemaker died Friday, Dec. 30, 2005, at Ward Memorial Hospital in Monahans.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Martinez-Smith & Miller Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at the Monahans Memorial cemetery. Arrangements are by the Martinez-Smith & Miller Funeral Home.
She was born in Lovelady and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Monahans.
Survivors Daughter, Shirlee Defranco of Colorado City; brother, Roger Qunicy Jackson of White Settlement; 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.

Eulogin Alvarado Gonzales
Fort Stockton - Eulogin Alvarado Gonzales, 88, died Dec. 31, 2005, at Medical Center Hospital.
Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Floro Hinacay. Burial will follow at the Fort Stockton Catholic cemetery. Arrangements are by Memorial Funeral Home.
Gonzales was born in Lajitas.
Survivors Brother, Franciso Gonzales; and sister, Mary G. Gonzales, both of Odessa.

Alicia Gonzalez
Odessa - Alicia Gonzalez, 76, died Thursday, Dec. 29, 2005, at Hospice of Midland.
Rosary will be said today at 7 p.m. at Martinez Smith Funeral Chapels. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 2.2006, at St. Joseph Catholic with the Rev. Joe Uecker officiating. Burial will follow at Rosehill cemetery. Arrangements are by the Martinez Smith Funeral Chapels & Crematory.
She was born in Marfa and was Catholic.
Survivors Son, Johnny Gonzalez of Midland; brother, Beto Gonzalez of Fort Stockton; sisters, Carmen Sarafia and Pasqual Nunez, both of Fort Stockton, and Ester Nunez of Odessa; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Bryan Newton
Brownwood - Bryan Newton, 33, of Temple, a Sante Fe Railroad engineer, died Dec. 30, 2005, in Temple.
Services will be at 11 a.m. today at First Baptist Church of Brownwood with Rick Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Greenleaf cemetery. Arrangements are by Davis-Morris Funeral Home.
He was born in Brownwood and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Brownwood.
Survivors Wife, Stephanie Newton of Temple; father, Paul Newton, stepmother Lynn, of Bangs; mother, Teena Richardson, stepfather Richie, of Spring; brothers, Evan Newton of West Virginia, and Lee Jay Newton of Bangs;
and grandmother, Etta Musick of Midland.

Lee Roy Rutledge
Marathon - Lee Roy Rutledge, 76, of Marathon, a U.S. Park Service employee, died Thursday, Dec. 29, 2005, at Big Bend Regional Medical Center in Alpine.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. today at the Marathon cemetery with the Rev. “T.J.” Joyner officiating. Arrangements are by Memorial Funeral Home.
He was born in Marathon. He was a veteran of the Army during the Korean War.
Survivors Wife, Joyce Rutledge of Marathon; daughters, Marianne Rutledge of Grapevine and Linda Anderson of Bulverde; brothers, Bunkie Rutledge of Bracketville, and Bill Shackelford, of Marathon; and one grandson.

Presidio - Carlos Spencer, 82, died Jan. 1, 2006, in Presidio.
Services are pending with Memorial Funeral Home of Fort Stockton.

Crane - Aurora Heredia Garcia, 52, of Crane, died Friday, Jan. 6, 2006, at her residence.
Wake service will be at 7 p.m. Sunday at Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at Good Shepherd Catholic Church with the Rev. Nilo Naluogon officiating. Burial will be at Crane County cemetery.
She was born in Monahans and was a member of the Good Shepherd Catholic Church.

Fort Stockton - Sabino Duarte Gomez, 80, of Fort Stockton, died Thursday,
Jan. 5, 2006, in Fort Stockton.

He was born in Wink and was an Army veteran. He was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church.
