DAISY, ARK. -- Ray Briggs, 82, a former Odesa resident, died Thursday, July 2, 1998, in a Wichita Falls hospital.

He was born April 4, 1916, in Shidler, Okla., and had lived in Wichita Falls since 1971.

He was born Feb. 9, 1948, in Longview and had lived in Odessa since 1975.

He was born Oct. 9, 1916, in Plattsmouth, Neb. He was a World War II veteran and a Presbyterian.

She was born in Desdemona and moved to Odessa in 1986 from Kermit. She was a Baptist.

He was born in Dublin, Texas, and moved to Odessa in 1985. He was Baptist.

Virgie Robertson
Services for Virgie Robertson, 92, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Second Baptist Church with Revs. Bruce Troy & Larry Purkey officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Robertson died Tuesday, December 1, 1998 at Parks Methodist Retirement Village. She was born January 24, 1906 in Hopkins County She married
Herman Robertson April 15, 1926 in Greenville, Texas.
She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Beaty and her husband Gerald of Odessa and Sue Jackson & her husband Jim of Daingerfield, Texas; brother, Claude Whitehead of Claremore, Okla.; sister, Juanita Hitchcock of Tulsa, Okla.; four grandchildren & ten great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parent, Robert & Lillie Whitehead; husband, Herman Robertson; grandson, Wade Kilpatrick; great-grandson, Daniel Beaty; four sisters & three brothers.

PRESIDIO -- Maria Hernandez Brito, 95, a homemaker, died Monday, Nov. 30, 1998, in an El Paso hospital.

She was a lifelong resident of Presidio. She was Catholic.
