ODESSA - Sandra A. Mize, 59, of Odessa, died Monday, Dec. 19, 2005, in Odessa.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Kevin Bushart officiating. Arrangements are by Sunset Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home.
She was born in Indianapolis, Ind.
SURVIVORS Mother, Mildred Mize of Odessa; and brother, Roger Mize of Odessa.

Angel Rey
MONAHANS - Angel Rey, 97, of Monahans, a retired maintenance worker for Atlantic Richfield, died Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2006, at Hospice House.
Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. today at St. John’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Rudy LaCerna officiating. Burial will be at Monahans Memorial cemetery. Arrangements are by Martinez-Smith and Miller Funeral Chapel and Crematory of Monahans.
He was born in Terlingua and was Catholic.
Survivors Wife, Paula Rey of Monahans; sons, Angel Rey Jr. of Mertzon and Efren Rey of Fort Stockton; daughters, Delma Sanchez and Delia Parras, both of Monahans, and Sylvia Sanchez of Odessa; sister, Geronima Flores of Crane; brother, Celedonio Rey of Midland; 18 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

Helen Doris Shults
Odessa - Helen Doris Shults, 89, of California, formerly of Odessa, died Monday, Jan. 16, 2006, at Loma Linda Hospital.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Sunset Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home.
She was born in Salem, Ill. She was Baptist.
Survivors Daughter, Judy Motley of Apple Valley, Calif.; son, David Shults of Jenks, Okla.; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Bryant Aries Tye
SARGENT - Bryant Aries Tye, 21, of Sargent, formerly of Odessa, a construction worker, died Saturday, Jan. 21, 2006, in Sargent.
Graveside services were held Thursday at Dry Creek cemetery in Conroe. Arrangements were by Metcalf Funeral Directors of Conroe.
He was born in Houston.
SURVIVORS Father, Robert E. Covington Jr. of Sargent; brother, Bill Richardson of Sargent; sister, Della Marie Neal of Conroe; and grandmother, Anne Marie Houge of Sargent.

Samuel Lee ‘Sam’ Ward
ABILENE - Samuel Lee “Sam” Ward, 60, of Abilene, a respiratory therapist, died Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2006, in Abilene.
Graveside services were held Thursday at Elmwood Memorial Park with the Rev. Curtis Bentley officiating. Arrangements were Elmwood Funeral Home of Abilene.
He was born in Magnolia, Ark., and was an Air Force veteran.
SUrVIVORS Sons, Samuel Lee Ward Jr. and William Travis Ward, both of Abilene; daughter, Traci Lynn Belosic of Dallas; brother, Ted G. Ward Jr. of Monahans; sisters, Louise Lewis of West Columbia and Shirley Forrest of Odessa; and three grandchildren.

Fort Stockton - Ramiro Velasquez, 76, of Fort Stockton, died Thursday, Jan. 26, 2006, in Odessa.
Services are pending with Memorial Funeral Home of Fort Stockton.

Odessa - Foyce Cleo Maxwell, 79, of Odessa, a nurse, died Monday, Feb. 13, 2006, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with James Bishop officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
She was born in Vernon and was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors Daughter, Anna Marie Jennings of Hernando, Miss.; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

ODESSA - Bobbie McCurry, 80, of Odessa, died Sunday, Feb. 12, 2006, in Odessa.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Roy Smalling, of the 6th and Jackson Church of Christ officiating.
She was born in Breckenridge.
