ODESSA - Ida Mildred Love, 101, of Odessa, formerly of Monahans and a retired restaurant owner, died Saturday, Feb. 18, 2006, at Sienna Nursing Center.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Southside Baptist Church. Burial will be at Monahans Memorial cemetery. Arrangements are by Martinez-Smith & Miller Funeral Chapel & Crematory of Monahans.
She was born in Ardmore, Okla., and previously lived in Monahans from 1930-98. She was Baptist.
Survivors Son, Basil Love of Monahans; sister, Ruth Bodine of St. Augustine; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Jaime Luis
ODESSA - Jaime Luis, 24, of Odessa died Feb. 13, 2006, in Odessa.
Services were held Saturday in Ojinaga, Mexico. Local arrangements were by Martinez Smith Funeral Chapels & Crematory of Odessa. Ojinaga arrangements were by Funeraria de Valle of Ojinaga.
He was born in Levelland.
Survivors Mother, Adelfa R. Luis of Odessa; daughter, Violet Victoria Luis of Odessa; sisters, Lupe Ortiz and Leticia Luis, both of Odessa, and Amalia Ramirez of Denver City; brothers, Rodolfo Chavarria, Francisco Luis and Claudio Luis, all of Odessa.

Martin N. Mata
Ojinaga, Chihuahua Mexico - Martin N. Mata, 92, of Presidio, died Sunday, Feb. 19, 2006, at Medical Center Hospital.
Graveside services will be Thursday at El Ultimo Refugio. Arrangements are by Odessa Funeral Home and Funeraria Del Valle of Ojinaga.
He was born in Guadalupe Victoria Chihuahua, Mexico.
Survivors Wife, Julia R. Mata of Presidio; sons, Alfonso Mata of Ojinaga, Jesus Manuel Mata of Houston and Ramon Arturo Mata of Seminole; daughters, Petra Mata and Socorro Mata, both of Odessa, and Manuela Chavez of Ojinaga; sisters, Guadalupe Sotelo and Manuela Alaniz, both of Ojinaga, Martina Acosta of Pecos and Margarita Arroyo of Odessa; 16 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

Horace Phelps
ANDREWS - Horace Phelps, 95, of Andrews, a former Cass Electric employee, died Sunday, February 19, 2006 at Permian Regional Medical Center in Andrews.
Masonic graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Andrews Old cemetery with the Rev. Rick Doyle officiating. Arrangements are by McNett Funeral Home of Andrews.
He was born in Anson and moved to Andrews in 1955. He was a member of the Means Memorial Methodist Church.
SURVIVORS Son, Lewis Phelps of Quinlan.

George Milton Purvis
ODESSA - George Milton Purvis, 45, of Odessa, a salesman of home improvement products, died Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2006, in Honduras.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Bethany Christian Church. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
He was born in El Paso.
SURVIVORS Mother, Julie Purvis of Odessa; brothers, Melvin Purvis and Royce Purvis, both of Odessa; and sister, Margie Newsom of Mesquite.

Margie Nell Willeby
ODESSA - Margie Nell Willeby, 69, of Odessa, died Monday, February 13, 2006 at her residence.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Martinez Smith Funeral Chapels & Crematory with Weeks Dubose officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill cemetery.
She was born in Caddo, Okla.
Survivors Daughter, Lisa Carrasco of Odessa; sons, Richard Willeby of Odessa and Kenneth Willeby of Seagoville; sister, Brenda Jordan of Bockito, Okla.; brother, Charles Alexander of Caddo; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

ODESSA - Charlene Henderson, 77, of Odessa, died Sunday, Feb. 19, 2006 at her home.
Services are pending with Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

Lucille Branscum
Odessa - Lucille Branscum, 74, of Odessa, died Monday, Sept. 26, 2005, at her residence in Odessa.
Services will be at 4 p.m. today at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was born in Shawnee, Okla.
SURVIVORS Son, Stacy Branscum; daughters, Karen May, Diane Wright and Linda Miller; sisters, Bonnie Cobb of Odessa, Laverne Vanderburg of Kingsland and Imogene Peel of Shreveport, La.; 16 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Constance ‘Connie’ G. Eckard
Odessa - Constance “Connie” Gayle Martin Eckard, 57, of Odessa, a president of several community organizations, died Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2005, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Arrangements are by Odessa Funeral Home.
She was born in Odessa.
SURVIVORS Daughter, Mindy Eckard Guillen; sisters, Nancy Vassiliou (Demetrious) of Odessa, and Jeanelle Adamak (Russ) of Indianapolis; and two grandchildren.

Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today at Santa Teresa Catholic Church with the Rev. Lazaro Gonzales Trejo officiating. Arrangements are by Memorial Funeral Home of Marfa.
She was born in Tecolote, Ojinaga, Mexico. She was a member of Santa Teresa Catholic Church.
SURVIVORS Daughters, Azucena Hernandez of Presidio and Mireya Hernandez of Midland; sisters, Margarita Ramirez and Imelda Hernandez, both of Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico, Elva Garca and Irma Munoz, both of Pecos, and Estela Leyva of Presidio; brother, Gerardo Madrid Ramirez of Ojinaga; and six grandchildren.

Maxine Kirkpatrick
Artesia, N.M. - Maxine Kirkpatrick, 82, of Artesia, N.M., a homemaker, died Sunday, Sept. 25, 2005, in Andrews.
Services were Wednesday at First Christian Church in Artesia with the Revs. Gerald Harper and Leslie Gross officiating. Burial was at Woodbine cemetery. Arrangements are by Terpening & Son Mortuary.
She was born in Elwood, Neb. She was a member of First Christian Church.

HOBBS, N.M. - Barbara Virginia Martin, 66, of Hobbs, N.M., died Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2005, at Lea Regional Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Steve Chappell officiating. Burial will be at Prairie Haven Memorial Park. Arrangements are by Chapel of Hope Funeral Home.
She was born in Seymour and was formerly of Odessa. She was a member of First United Methodist Church.
SURVIVORS Husband, Gerald Martin of Hobbs, N.M.; son, Gerald “Bud” Martin of Hamptonville, N.C.; daughter, Gina Ruthart of Amarillo; brother, Ron Wright of Fort Worth; and four grandchildren.

Odessa - Anita G. Natividad, 93, of Odessa, died Monday, Sept. 26, 2005, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services will be at a later date in Manuel Benavides, Chihuahua, Mexico. Arrangements are by Martinez -Smith Funeral Chapels & Crematory.
She was born in Marathon.
