OZONA - Tom William Parisher, 87, a retired ranch foreman, died Wednesday, Sept. 17, 1997, in Ozona.

He was born in Cherokee and was a resident of Ozona. He was a Baptist.

MCCAMEY - Michael Fuentes, 42, died Friday, Sept. 19, 1997, at his home in McCamey. Rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. Monday at Richard W. Box Funeral Home in McCamey. Mass will be celebrated at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Barry McLean officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven cemetery. Arrangements are by Richard W. Fuentes was a lifelong resident of McCamey and worked as a truck driver in the oil fields. He was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Father, Fred Fuentes Jr. of McCamey; daughters, Kelly Fuentes and Juana Fuentes, both of Colorado Springs; sister, Viola Pena and her husband, Ray, of Big Lake; brothers, Stephen Fuentes of Dallas and Freddy Fuentes of McCamey; nephews Roland and Erick Pena of Big Lake; and nieces, Christy and Michelle Pena of Big Lake. He was preceded in death by his mother, Juana Lujan Fuentes.

She was born in Richland and had moved to Odessa from Longview in 1961. She was a homemaker and a member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church and Eastern Star.

She was born Aug. 15, 1916, in Gorman and married
C.M. Williams on Nov. 3, 1934, he preceded her in death on Oct. 2, 1991.
She moved to Odessa in 1993 from Big Spring. She was a member of the Church of Christ. MIDLAND - Howard Gatlin, 59, of Odessa, died Friday, Sept. 19, 1997, at his residence. Services will be held at 9 a.m. Monday at Ellis Funeral Home Chapel in Midland with Rev. Bob Porterfield officiating. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. at Dreamland cemetery in Turkey, Texas with Jimmy Gatlin officiating. Arrangements are by Ellis Funeral Home.
He was born in Turkey, Texas to Jimmy H. Gatlin and Bessie Ann Rivers Gatlin on Oct. 24, 1938. He has lived in the Midland /Odessa area for 20 years.
He was a member of the Odessa Special Olympics. He was preceded in death by his sister Karen Sorrel on Jan. 3, 1997.
SURVIVORS: Brothers, Royce Leon Gatlin of Cantuillo, Texas, Jimmy Larry Gatlin, Tommy J. Gatlin and Dicky Rivers Gatlin all of Midland; sisters, Peggy Jean Ellison and Christine Mansell, both of Midland.
