Ella Frances Bruba Price
McLean - Ella Frances Bruba Price, 86, was born January 10, 1920 and passed away Saturday April 8, 2006, in McLean, Texas.
Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday April 14, 2006 at New Life Assembly of God Church in McLean, TX with Z.A. Myers officiating. Graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday April 15, 2006 at Sunset Memorial cemetery in Odessa, TX with Jimmy Braswell officiating.
Mrs. Price was born in Manitou, OK on January 10, 1920 to John and Lydia Burba. She was raised in Pampa, Tx and graduated from Pampa High School in 1939. After graduating Baylor University she served in the U.S. Navy during WW II for three years. Mrs. Price married John T. Price in 1950; he preceded her in death in 1992. She moved to McLean in 2001 from Odessa. Mrs. Price was a 50 year member of the Floyd Easterling Eastern Star in Odessa, TX. She was a Baptist.
Mrs. Price is survived by two daughters: Deborah Hargis of Odessa and Cynthia Hauck and husband Don of McLean; one son: John H. Price of Pittsford, NY; two sisters: Etta Sherburne of Shreveport, LA and Linda Russell of Amarillo, TX; eight grandchildren: Amy Hargis, Courtney Hargis, Emily Deffenbaugh and husband Marc, Bonnie Whitehead and husband Justin, Christopher Hauck, Brian Hargis, Shawn Price and wife Elizabeth, and Amanda Hauck; and five great granddaughters: Hannah Deffenbaugh, Hailee Whitehead, Madyson Deffenbaugh, Natalee Whitehead and Sasha Price.
Memorials may be made out to your favorite charity.

Mary Arlene Treeby
Denton - Mary “Arlene” Treeby went to be with her Lord and Savior April 8, 2006.
Arlene was born November 24, 1915 to James and Tilda Swanson Peck in Alexander, ND, the only daughter of 7 children.
After a time of helping her brother in ministry, she met and married Dwight Lowell Treeby in 1935.
The new couple began a lifelong ministry as ordained ministers of the Assemblies of God, pastoring, and evangelizing in many locations in the Northwestern and Southwestern states. Arlene and Dwight settled in Odessa in 1977 and both continued their faithful service for the Lord. She was a strong and courageous woman who was not afraid to take on tasks that many women would be frightened to take on. Arlene was devoted to the care of her family and to her work for the Lord. She suffered the loss of her husband in 1999 and in 2003, relocated to New Orleans, LA to spend time near her son, William D. Treeby, and his family. Hurricane Katrina relocated Arlene once again to Denton, Tx where she resided until her death at Lake Forrest Good Samaritan Village a few blocks from her daughter, Betty Copeland’s home.
Funeral services were Tuesday, April 11 at 3pm at Goen-Hudgens Funeral Home in Denton with Peter Davidson and Keith Collins officiating.
Graveside Services were Wednesday, April 12 at 2pm in Sunset Memorial Garden in Odessa with Billy Rais officiating.
Arlene was preceded in death by her parents, 5 brothers, Mervin, Wesley, David, Lawrence, and Donald Peck.
Arlene is survived by one brother, John E. Peck 2 children, Betty Copeland of Denton TX; and William D. Treeby of New Orleans, LA; 6 grandchildren, Zelda Wilmoth, Janis Adkins, Rhonda Hare, Vance Harper Jonathan Treeby and Patrick Treeby, 12 great grandchildren, 7great-great grandchildren, and many, many friends.

Merle Reed Beard
ODESSA - Merle Reed Beard, 86, of Odessa, died Friday, Feb. 17, 2006, at Hospice House in Odessa.
Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. today at Hubbard-Kelly Chapel. Interment will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Nevells Chapel cemetery in Mt. Pleasant. Arrangements are by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was a 50-plus year resident of Odessa. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Odessa.
SURVIVORS Son, James Beard of Odessa; daughter, Janice Holmes of Perryton; sisters, Mary Reed Thomas of Mt. Pleasant and Margaret Reed Clendinning of Corona, Calif.; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Kiley Jason Collins
ODESSA - Kiley Jason Collins, 35, of Odessa, a clerk, died Friday, Feb. 17, 2006, in Odessa.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Griffin Jones officiating. Arrangements are by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
He was born in Odessa.
SURVIVORS Parents, Mike Collins and Karen Sue Overby; grandparents, Frances Collins & Derryl & Frances Oversby.

Catalina Garcia
PECOS - Catalina Garcia, 87, of Pecos, a homemaker, died Friday, Feb. 17, 2006, at Reeves County Hospital in Pecos.
A rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. today at Peaceful Gardens Funeral Home Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Santa Rosa Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Santa Rosa cemetery. Arrangements are by Peaceful Gardens Funeral Home.
She was born in El Paso and was a lifetime resident of Pecos. She was Catholic.
SURVIVORS Sons, Arturo Garcia of Midland, Armando Garcia of Pecos and Ernest Garcia of Ventura, Calif.; daughters, Alicia Guevara and Maria Garcia, both of Pecos, and Julie Vincent of Austin; 15 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Bryan Eugene Jackson
ODESSA - Bryan Eugene Jackson, 50, of Odessa, died Saturday, Feb. 18, 2006, at his residence.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Bethel Assembly of God with the Rev. John VanHoose officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements are by Odessa Funeral Home.
He was born in Odessa.
SURVIVORS Mother, Juanita Jackson McDaniel of Odessa; and brothers, Richard Jackson and Allen Jackson, both of Hobbs, N.M., and Audie Jackson, Steve Jackson, Gordon Jackson and Kelvin Jackson, all of Odessa.

Rosa Paula Rodriquez
STANTON - Rosa Paula Rodriquez, 3 months, of Stanton, died Saturday, Feb. 18, 2006, in San Antonio.
Mass will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Thomas Vempala officiating. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic cemetery. Arrangements are by Stanton Memorial Funeral Home and Chapel and Roy Akers Funeral Home.
She was born in San Antonio.

Rodriquez Sr. and Amanda Sotelo Rodriquez, of Stanton; brother, Manuel Rodriquez Jr., of Stanton; grandparents, Valentino Sotelo and Mary Lou Sotelo and Cresencia Rodriquez, all of Stanton; great-grandparents, Elario and Leonor Urbina of Stanton and Carolina Rivas of Lenorah.

Don Allan Steveson
ODESSA - Don Allan Steveson, 66, of Odessa, a retired Bellow’s Systems Inc. employee, died Saturday, Feb. 18, 2006, at his residence.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Luther Whitlow officiating.
He was born in Odessa. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
SURVIVORS Wife, Carol J. Steveson of Odessa; daughter Allana Athans of Odessa; son, Fritz Purifoy of Odessa; father, O.L. Steveson of Odessa; sisters, Nancy Veatch and Sharon Guy, both of Odessa; brother, David Steveson of Odessa; and four grandchildren.

Horace Phelps
ANDREWS - Horace Phelps, 95, of Andrews, died Sunday Feb. 19, 2006, at Permian Regional Medical Center in Andrews.
Services are pending with McNett Funeral Home.

Douglas Michael Deards
Odessa - Douglas Michael Deards, 53, of Odessa, a retired Odessa Police Department officer, died Friday, Jan. 13, 2006, at Medical Center Hospital.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Francis Frey officiating. Arrangements are by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
He was born in Springfield, Ohio, and was an Army veteran. He was a member of the Catholic church.

Michael A. Dosher
Seminole - Michael A. Dosher, 37, of Seminole, died Thursday, Jan. 12, 2006, at University Medical Center in Lubbock.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Community Chapel with Wayne Apple officiating. Burial will be at Gaines County cemetery. Arrangements are by Boyer Funeral Home of Seminole.
He was born in Liberal, Kan.

Richard Galen Fowler
Midland - Richard Galen Fowler, 73, of Midland, died Thursday, Jan. 12, 2006, in Midland.
Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Nalley Pickle and Welch Funeral Home.
He was born in Fort Worth. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church.

Rudolph Masters
Jacksonville - Rudolph Masters, 83, of Jacksonville, a retired security guard, died Thursday, Jan. 12, 2006, in Jacksonville.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Autry Funeral Home Chapel with Robby Arrington officiating. Burial will be at Jarratt cemetery.
He was born in Grapeland. He was a member of Church of Christ and an Army veteran.
Survivors Wife, Juanita Masters of Jacksonville; son, Reed Masters of Odessa; daughter, Danita Alfred of Bullard; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Allen Wayne Nixon
Lockbourne, Ohio - Allen Wayne Nixon, 51, of Lockbourne, Ohio, formerly of Odessa, died Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2006, at his residence.
No services will be held. Arrangements are by Oliver Funeral Home of Ashville, Ohio.
He was born in Conway, Ark. He was a Navy veteran.
Survivors Wife, Debi Nixon of Lockbourne; sons, Dean Begley, Rusty Begley and Eric Gillespie, all of Ohio; daughters, Tracy Begley and Sara Gillespie, both of Ohio; mother, Lottie Nixon of Odessa; brother, John “Tony” Nixon of Odessa; and sister, Pam Cherry of Odessa.

Alfred White
Odessa - Alfred White, 75, of Odessa, a minister of Church of Christ and a substitute teacher for Ector County Independent School District, died Thursday, Jan. 12, 2006 at Medical Center Hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Sherwood Church of Christ with Lynn Money officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
He was born in the Republic of Panama.
Survivors Wife, Essie White of Odessa; one son; five daughters; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
