Ella Frances Bruba Price
McLean - Ella Frances Bruba Price, 86, was born January 10, 1920 and passed away Saturday April 8, 2006, in McLean, Texas.
Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday April 14, 2006 at New Life Assembly of God Church in McLean, TX with Z.A. Myers officiating. Graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday April 15, 2006 at Sunset Memorial cemetery in Odessa, TX with Jimmy Braswell officiating.
Mrs. Price was born in Manitou, OK on January 10, 1920 to John and Lydia Burba. She was raised in Pampa, Tx and graduated from Pampa High School in 1939. After graduating Baylor University she served in the U.S. Navy during WW II for three years. Mrs. Price married
John T. Price in 1950; he preceded her in death in 1992. She moved to McLean in 2001 from Odessa. Mrs. Price was a 50 year member of the Floyd Easterling Eastern Star in Odessa, TX. She was a Baptist.
Mrs. Price is survived by two daughters: Deborah Hargis of Odessa and Cynthia Hauck and husband Don of McLean; one son: John H. Price of Pittsford, NY; two sisters: Etta Sherburne of Shreveport, LA and Linda Russell of Amarillo, TX; eight grandchildren: Amy Hargis, Courtney Hargis, Emily Deffenbaugh and husband Marc, Bonnie Whitehead and husband Justin, Christopher Hauck, Brian Hargis, Shawn Price and wife Elizabeth, and Amanda Hauck; and five great granddaughters: Hannah Deffenbaugh, Hailee Whitehead, Madyson Deffenbaugh, Natalee Whitehead and Sasha Price.

Mary Arlene Treeby
Denton - Mary “Arlene” Treeby went to be with her Lord and Savior April 8, 2006.
Arlene was born November 24, 1915 to James and Tilda Swanson Peck in Alexander, ND, the only daughter of 7 children.
After a time of helping her brother in ministry, she met and married
Dwight Lowell Treeby in 1935.
The new couple began a lifelong ministry as ordained ministers of the Assemblies of God, pastoring, and evangelizing in many locations in the Northwestern and Southwestern states. Arlene and Dwight settled in Odessa in 1977 and both continued their faithful service for the Lord. She was a strong and courageous woman who was not afraid to take on tasks that many women would be frightened to take on. Arlene was devoted to the care of her family and to her work for the Lord. She suffered the loss of her husband in 1999 and in 2003, relocated to New Orleans, LA to spend time near her son, William D. Treeby, and his family. Hurricane Katrina relocated Arlene once again to Denton, Tx where she resided until her death at Lake Forrest Good Samaritan Village a few blocks from her daughter, Betty Copeland’s home.
Funeral services were Tuesday, April 11 at 3pm at Goen-Hudgens Funeral Home in Denton with Peter Davidson and Keith Collins officiating.
Graveside Services were Wednesday, April 12 at 2pm in Sunset Memorial Garden in Odessa with Billy Rais officiating.
Arlene was preceded in death by her parents, 5 brothers, Mervin, Wesley, David, Lawrence, and Donald Peck.
Arlene is survived by one brother, John E. Peck 2 children, Betty Copeland of Denton TX; and William D. Treeby of New Orleans, LA; 6 grandchildren, Zelda Wilmoth, Janis Adkins, Rhonda Hare, Vance Harper Jonathan Treeby and Patrick Treeby, 12 great grandchildren, 7great-great grandchildren, and many, many friends.
Merle Reed Beard
ODESSA - Merle Reed Beard, 86, of Odessa, died Friday, Feb. 17, 2006, at Hospice House in Odessa.
Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. today at Hubbard-Kelly Chapel. Interment will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Nevells Chapel cemetery in Mt. Pleasant. Arrangements are by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was a 50-plus year resident of Odessa. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Odessa.
SURVIVORS Son, James Beard of Odessa; daughter, Janice Holmes of Perryton; sisters, Mary Reed Thomas of Mt. Pleasant and Margaret Reed Clendinning of Corona, Calif.; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

She was born in El Paso and was a lifetime resident of Pecos. She was Catholic.
