Wanda Nell Ottinger
Odessa - Wanda Nell Ottinger, 63, of Odessa, passed away at Medical Center Hospital on Monday, March 20, 2006.
Wanda was born September 3rd, 1942 to Harvey B. Crain and Eppie (Walden) Crain, in Sweetwater, Texas. She was raised on the Crain farm near Maryneal, Texas and was educated at Blackwell High School graduating with the Class of 1960. She married
Donald Leo Ottinger, July 1st, 1967 in Odessa, Texas. Wanda moved to Odessa and was employed by Pinkie’s and Standard Sales Co. for 30 years before retiring in 2002. She enjoyed crocheting, crossword puzzles, and the care and keeping of her turtles.
Wanda is survived by her husband of thirty-eight years Donald Leo Ottinger of Odessa; her mother, Eppie Crain of Bronte, Texas; a daughter, Dawn Tellez and husband Tony of Odessa; her sister Cherry Green and husband George of Shepherd, Texas; grandsons Donald Atkins of U.S. Navy, Groton, Connecticut, Joshua Tellez of Odessa; granddaughter, Monica Tellez, of Odessa; nephews, Dan Willoughby and family of Draper, Utah and Clay Willoughby of Grand Forks, North Dakota. She is also survived by many cousins and friends.
Wanda was predeceased by her father, Harvey B. Crain.
The family will have a visitation on Wednesday, March 22nd, 2006 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
Graveside funeral services celebrating her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 23rd, 2006 at Sunset Memorial Gardens, with Pastor Lynn Money officiating.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to your favorite charity.

Tramone Reshod Porter
ODESSA - Tramone Reshod Porter, 25, of Odessa, went home to be with Jesus, Thursday, March 16, 2006, in Austin.
Tramone was born Sept. 22, 1980, and was the youngest son of Elder James and Carolyn Porter of Odessa. He attended Reagan Elementary, Hood Jr. High and was a 1999 Permian High graduate. He also attended Odessa College. After moving to Austin, Tramone became employed by MCI, where he worked as a supervisor for 5 years. He also worked part-time at AMF Showplace Lanes.
Tramone accepted Christ as his savior at an early age at Walker’s Chapel C.O.G.I.C. under the pastoral leadership of his father and was one of the church drummers.
In Lockhart Texas, he attended The First Baptist Church with his close and dearest friend Miss Kelly Guyton, and sometimes helped her with the youth.
His most recent goal was to go back to college and then into real estate.
Tramone was greatly loved and will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother Loretha J. Payne.
He is survived by his parents, brothers, Tavoric M. Porter and Toby D. Porter both of Austin, TX, sister, Tequishia J. Porter of Odessa and two nephews.
Visitation will be held today from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. at the funeral home. Services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Walkers Chapel Church, 525 S. Grandview.
Burial will follow at Rose Hill cemetery.

Herbert J. Stillwell
Odessa - Herbert Junior “Herb” Stillwell, aged 81, of Odessa passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2006 at his home surrounded by his family.
Herb was born on August 27, 1924, in Glen, Oklahoma, the only child of Herbert Franklin and Lena Pullum Stillwell. After living in Kilgore, Texas, the family moved to Denver City, Texas where Herb graduated from high school in 1942. It was there where he met his wife-to-be, Billie Mai Rogers. High school sweethearts, they played in the band together. Herb attended Texas Tech for one year before joining the Navy Air Corps during World War II. He was a gunner and stationed on Saipan at the end of the war. He returned and continued his education in geology at Texas Tech.
Herb and Billie married
in Denver City on February 28, 1947. They shared a beautiful life together for 59 years. Herb was a child of the oil field as well as a pioneer. He spent his entire professional career in the oil business. He worked for Permian Mud Service for 21 years. Then he worked for Kenworthy Tank Company as co-owner and president for 18 years. He retired and sold his business in 1981. Upon retirement, he and Billie enjoyed their Airstream and traveled with Wally Byam Caravan Club. He was an avid golfer, and for five years, his family and friends hosted the “Stillwell Hacker’s” Golf Tournament in Ruidoso in his honor. He loved hunting and fishing.
Herb was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife Billie of Odessa; his son, Gary Stillwell and wife Julie of Austin; son Bobby Stillwell and wife Shirley of Albuquerque; daughter Gail Stillwell of San Angelo; and daughter Holley Tindol of Odessa. Herb is also survived by nine grandchildren: Kristi Nana and husband Sylvain of Albuquerque; Matt Stillwell and wife Tiffany of Austin; Lashae and Aleashae Tindol of Odessa; Caroline Lara and husband Andrew of Denton; and Catherine Booth of Austin. Great-grandchildren are BoDylan Crotta, Hudson Gray Stillwell, and Truman Jax Stillwell.
Herb always put his family first. He was the best provider as a husband and a father. His greatest joy and pride in life was to see his children grow up and to become successful, happy adults. Herb was the most courageous and friendliest man anyone would ever know. He never met a stranger, and he lived life to its fullest. He never turned down the chance to tell a story or eat a meal.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Nurses Unlimited and Home Hospice of Odessa for their excellent care of Herb.
The family will have a visitation on Wednesday, March 22, at Frank Wilson Funeral Home from 6:00 to 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be on Thursday, March 23, at 2:00 in the chapel at Frank Wilson Funeral Home, with Roy Smalling officiating. Committal service will be immediately following at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Brumfield, Win Farquhar, Tom Hansen, Lloyd Hicks, Curtis Murphy and Matt Stillwell.

Ezary Wade Brewer
Odessa - Ezary Wade Brewer, 87, of Odessa passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2006, at his daughter’s residence. He was born April 5, 1918, in Brown County. He was a maintenance man for Ector County School District for twenty years and retired in 1984. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church.
He is survived by sons, Ray Brewer and wife Brenda of Brady, Carl Brewer and wife Jo of Dripping Springs, Darrel Brewer and wife Patricia of Longview, daughters, Kathy Sitton and husband James of Odessa, Carol Stipanovich and husband Steve of Midland, brother, Albert Brewer of San Angelo, sisters, Eulala “Jo” Helmers and Connie Markley both of San Angelo, (16) grandchildren & (12) great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 17, 2006, at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Brenda Deily officiating.

Joe Bowen Ernst
Weatherford - Joe Bowen Ernst, 71, of Weatherford died Tuesday, March 14, 2006, at his residence. Born January 5, 1935, in Fort Worth, Texas, a resident of Parker County for several years. Joe graduated Theta Chi from University of North Texas in 1956 and was a retired Executive Bank Officer with 30 years of banking history. He worked for First State Bank of Odessa, Bank of North Texas in Hurst, Fair Park National Bank in Dallas, Texas Bank of Weatherford and Weatherford National Bank. Joe retired from Southland Corp. after 10 years of employment. He was a life member of the Odessa Chuck Wagon Gang and Boss in 1970, honorary life member of the Kiwanis Club, former President of the Optimist Club of HEB, a member of the Parker County Sheriff’s Posse and Eastland Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Essie Ernst. Memorials may be made to Parker County Meals on Wheels.
Survivors: Wife of 48 years Diane Ernst of Weatherford; Sons – Gil Ernst and wife Nicole of Plano, Brandon Ernst and wife Monica of Bristow, Virginia; Brother – John L. Ernst, Jr. of Houston; Brother-in-law – Don Jernigan; Mother–in–law – Opal Jernigan of Cross Plains; Grandchildren – Mercedes, Garrison, Austin, Cole and Tatum.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 18, 2006, at 10:30 a.m. in the First Baptist Church in Weatherford with Rev Tommy Galik officiating. A private interment will be held at a later time. Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements.
Angeline ‘Angie’ Morgan
Sonora - Angeline “Angie” Morgan passed away in Sonora on Monday, March 13, 2006, at the age of 81, after a hard battle with lung cancer.
Angie was born in Lamkin, Texas, to Absolum and Annie Geye Denman on May 29, 1924, the youngest of 8 siblings. On June 7, 1941, she married
her high school sweetheart, Robert Henry “Bob” Morgan. She and Bob lived in Pottsville, Texas where they ran a small restaurant for a short time. Angie took the train all the way to Florida soon after they were married
to meet Bob where he was stationed during part of World War II. Later, after returning, their two sons were born in Hamilton, Texas, and before long the Morgans moved to Iraan, Texas where the boys both graduated from high school. When the boys went off to college Angie and Bob moved to Odessa where they made friends bowling in a league and getting involved in a CB radio club. They also enjoyed gardening together when Bob got home from work at Sewell Ford.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob, and brothers and sisters: Alta, Arron, A.B., Acney, Alston, and Anna Bell. Survivors include: one sister, Alma Ruth Moss, of Hamilton; her two sons, Rodney and wife Jill of San Marcos and Bobby and wife Mary Beth of Sonora; three grandsons, Rob and wife Tabitha of San Marcos, Brad and wife Toni of Gonzales, Bruce and wife Cathy of Bedford; as well as 4 great-grandchildren, Marshall, Kendra, Abby, and Heather; and several nieces and nephews.
With her gentle spirit, she was loved and admired by all who knew her. She spent many hours making the many crocheted and knitted table cloths, afgans, and baby clothes for us to enjoy for many years to come. Her beautiful plants always added a special touch to her home, both inside and out.
We will so miss her gentle ways and quiet loving manner.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 17, 2006, at the Sonora Church of Christ. A graveside service will be held at 4 p.m. at the Sunset Memorial cemetery in Odessa.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Kerbow Funeral Home in Sonora.

G. T. Warren
Odessa - G. T. Warren, 87, of Odessa passed away Thursday, March 9t, 2006, at his residence.
He was born on September 8, 1918, in Eula, Texas to Grace Howell and M. S. Warren.
During his early years, G. T. Worked for Wasson Clothing, Lincks Foods and Cash Wholesale in Big Spring, Texas. He moved to San Diego, California, in 1941 and worked on B-24 bombers for Consolidated Vultee Aircraft Corporation. He married
Marie Beasley, his high school sweetheart, in Yuma, Arizona on December 7, 1941. They were blessed with a beautiful daughter, Lynda, in February of 1944.
G. T. entered the U. S. Army in September of 1944. He was assigned to the 7th Army, 3rd Infantry Division as a machine gunner and fought throughout France, Germany and Austria. He was wounded at the Comar Pocket in France and received numerous awards before returning to Abilene, Texas in 1947.
They were blessed with a second child, Terry in 1948 while G. T. worked for West Texas Wholesale Supply as a warehouse manager. In 1952, they moved to Odessa and G. T. continued to work as a sales representative in the West Texas and New Mexico territory. In 1978 G. T. and Marie moved to Ruidoso, New Mexico. He retired in 1988. They moved back to Odessa to be near their kids and families in 2002.
Preceding him in death are his parents; brothers, Carlos and Curtis and sisters Estaleen Rice and Leta Metcalf.
G. T. is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Marie; daughters, Lynda Fournier and husband Jacques of Palm Beach, Florida; son, Terry Warren and wife Phillis of Odessa; grandchildren, Melissa Warren Weaver and husband Lance of Lubbock, Texas, and Russell Warren of Odessa, Texas; great-granddaughter, Amie Weaver; brothers, Dr. Charles Warren and wife Shirley of Big Spring, Texas and Billy Warren of Dallas, Texas; sister, Wanda Erickson of Big Spring, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews and special dog - Max.
The family wants to thank Dr. Patel, RN Jennifer, charge nurse Susanne at Alliance Hospital and Rhonda, Kendra and Johnnie with Odyssey.
A private ceremony for the family will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Odessa, Texas.

Odessa - J. L. Adams, 73, of Odessa died Monday, March 13, 2006, in the Crane Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. He was born September 30, 1932, to James Hiram and Laura Bell Adams in Odessa. He was a 1953 graduate of Odessa High School.
He is survived by his sisters, Alice Dawson & hsuband Weldon of Odessa and Allie Marcus & husband Jim of Crane, cousins, Jo Meek & husband Bob of Monahans, Marie McGowen of San Angelo, and Ethel Allgood of Barstow, (5) nephews and nieces.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 16, 2006, at the Rosehill cemetery.

SEMINOLE - Barbara Joan “Eloise” Enelow, 67, of Seminole, a homemaker, died Wednesday, May 3, 2006, at Vista Care Nursing Home in Lubbock.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at South Seminole Baptist Church with the Revs. Joe Stewart and Eric Walsh officiating. Burial will be at Gaines County cemetery. Arrangements are by Boyer Funeral Home of Seminole.
She was born in Baylor County and moved to Seminole from Big Spring. She was a member of the South Seminole Baptist Church.
