El Paso - James Mancill, 76, of Alpine, a Sul Ross State University professor, died Sunday, April 16, 2006, in El Paso.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Martin Funeral Home.
Survivors Wife, Peggy Mancill; and son, Mickey Mancill of El Paso.

John Anthony Marks
San Angelo - John Anthony Marks, 75, of San Angelo, formerly of Midland, died Monday, April 17, 2006, at his residence.
Memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Shaffer Funeral Home of San Angelo.

Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at Odessa Funeral Home Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Joseph Uecker officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill cemetery.
She was born in Shafter and was a Christian Catholic.
Survivors Daughters, Alicia Muniz of Monahans, Ida “Chita” Hernandez of Dallas, Maria Elida Parker of Portland, Ore., and Melba Sue Lujan of Midland; sister, Alicia Frausto of Hobbs, N.M.; 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 27 great-great-grandchildren.

Fort Davis - Bobby Jake “Jackie” Probst, 66, of Alpine, died Friday, April 14, 2006, in Alpine.
Services were held April 17 at St. James Episcopal Church with Judith Burgess officiating. Burial was held at Hill Crest cemetery. Arrangements were by Memorial Funeral Home of Fort Stockton.
He was born in San Angelo.
Survivors Wife, Judy Singleton Probst of Alpine; daughter, Jenifer Probst Webster of Fort Davis; sister, Carol Ann Compton of Alpine; and one grandchild.
