Odessa - Johnnie Lee Tatum, 66, of Odessa, a nurse aide, died Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2006, at her residence.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Greater St. John Baptist Church with the Rev. E.J. Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements are by Odessa Funeral Home.
She was born in Gilliam, La. She was Baptist.
Survivors Husband, Oza T. Tatum of Odessa; sons, Karlo and Brian Tatum, both of Odessa; mother, Annabelle Matthews of Shreveport, La.; brothers, Eddie and David Matthews, both of Shreveport, La.; sisters, Pearlie Mae Adkins, Patricia Anderson, Jennie V. Sneed and Connie Progue, all of Shreveport, La.; and three grandchildren.

Daniel Duplechain
Brownwood - Daniel Duplechain, 66, of Brownwood, a truck driver, died Saturday, Jan. 28, 2006.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Davis-Morris Funeral Home Chapel with Art Switzer officiating. Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Margaret Catholic Church in Lake Charles, La. Burial will follow at Duplechain Family cemetery in Oberlin, La. Arrangements are by Davis-Morris Funeral Home.
He was born in Basile, La. He was Catholic.
Survivors Wife, Deloris Duplechain; sons, Gary Long of Odessa and Mike Duplechain of Artesia, N.M.; daughters, Michelle Moore and Linda Barberousse, both of Odessa, Aloma Hemrick of Powell, N.C., and Paula Leggett of Fort Worth; brother, Lionel Duplechain of Louisiana; sisters, Mercedes Todd and Judy Rutherford of Louisiana; 12 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.

CRANE - Glen Grissom, 86, of Crane, died Friday, January 27, 2006.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Tabernacle Baptist Church with the Rev. David Bryant and the Rev. Lyndel Lee officiating. Burial will follow at Crane County cemetery. Arrangements are by Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
He was born in De Leon, Texas.

Peggy Jo Tate-Hale
Monahans - Peggy Jo Tate-Hale, 57, of Monahans, a homemaker, died Saturday, Jan. 28, 2006, at Ward Memorial Hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Monahans Memorial cemetery with the Rev. Maxine Burns officiating. Burial will be at Monahans Memorial cemetery. Arrangements are by Harkey Family Funeral Services.
Survivors Husband, Richard Hale of Monahans; son, Joel Glen Smith of Tyler; daughters, Rami Castillo of Snyder and Trisha Tone of Monahans; brother, Rusty Tate of South Carolina; and nine grandchildren.

Toyah - John Thomas Marsh Jr., 82, of Toyah, a retired justice of the peace, died Friday, Jan. 27, 2006, in Odessa.

He was born in Denham Springs, La. He was Baptist.
Survivors Wife, Annie Marsh of Toyah; sons, Jimmy Marsh of Odessa and John C. Marsh of Arizona; daughters, Bettie Ann Marsh-Peach of Pensacola, Fla., and Renee Crabille of Knoxville, Tenn.; sister, Minnie Lee Barnett of Bossier City, La.; 12 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.

Pecos - Agapito Acosta, 89, of Pecos, died Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2006, in Odessa.
Rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. today at Peaceful Garden Funeral Home Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at Santa Rosa Catholic Church. Burial will be at Greenwood cemetery.
He was born in Candelaria and was Catholic.
Survivors Sons, Gregory Acosta of Yakima, Wash., and Pito Acosta of Pecos; daughters, Dora Talamantez of Odessa and Teodora Acosta Burciaga of Pecos; brothers, Manuel Acosta of Artesia and Pedrito Acosta of Pecos; sisters, Inez Olivas of Odessa, Tomasa Salgado and LaLa Machuca, both of Pecos; 19 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

SEMINOLE - Juanita Belle Blount, 83, of Seminole, a retired nurse’s aide for Seminole Memorial Hospital, died Sunday, Jan. 22, 2006, at Memorial Health Care Center.
Services were held Wednesday at West Side Church of Christ with Leo Copeland officiating. Burial was at Gaines County Memorial cemetery. Arrangements are by Boyer Funeral Home of Seminole.
She was born in Atoka, Okla., and moved to Seminole in 1962 from Brownfield.
SURVIVORS Daughters, Judy Tannehill of Fort Worth and Patricia Blount of Bakersfield, Calif.; sister, Norma Meeks of Oklahoma City; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Alfred L. Brewer
Barstow - Al L. Brewer, 69, of Odessa, formerly of Oklahoma City, Okla., a retired owner of A&D Heat & Air Conditioning in Oklahoma City, died Monday, Jan. 23, 2006, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
He was born in Corley and was Kiwanian and Presbyterian. He was an Air Force veteran.
Survivors Wife, Virginia Brewer of Odessa; sons, Troy Brewer and Allen Brewer, both of Missouri, and Clint Brewer and Craig Brewer, both of Oklahoma City; brothers, Jim Brewer, Irby Brewer, Mike Brewer and Gary Brewer, all of Arizona; sisters, Louise Province of Nashville, Tenn., Mary Brewer of Wyoming, Kathy Brewer of Arizona and Sharon Brewer of Texas; and eight grandchildren.

SNYDER - Parnell Robertson, 76, of Odessa, formerly of Snyder, an oilfield worker, died Sunday, Jan. 22, 2006, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services were held Wednesday at Bell-Cypert-Seale Chapel in Snyder. Burial was at Snyder cemetery.
He was born in Grosvenor.
