Odessa - Eluterio Casas, 52 years of age, passed away June 6, 2006 in Huntsville, Texas. He was born March 26, 1954 in Rio Grande City, Texas to parents Gilberto Casas and Yolanda Salinas Casas. Visitation will be held today, June 10, 2006 from 9 am to 10 pm at Martinez-Smith Funeral Chapels and Sunday from 1 pm to 10 pm with a rosary said at 7 pm. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 12, 2006, at 10 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial following at Rose Hill cemetery. He is survived by his mother, Yolanda Salinas Casas of Odessa, son, Jason Eluterio Casas of Odessa, daughter, Rebeca Maria Casas of Redondo Beach, CA, brothers, Juan Abel Casas Sr., Eden H. Wilma Gerald ‘Ruddle’ Perkins
Odessa - Wilma Gerald “Ruddle” Perkins, 84, of Odessa, TX passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2006 at Life Care Center in Farmington. Mrs. Perkins was born April 27, 1922 in DeKalb, Texas the daughter of Howard Ruddle and Laura (Lewis) Ruddle.
Wilma was preceded in death in 1989, by her husband, J.A. Perkins, whom she married
in 1942.
Mrs. Perkins is survived by sons, Albert Lewis Perkins of Nashville, TN and Charles Wayne Perkins of Farmington, N M and wife Holly; brother, Norman Hugh “Pat” Ruddle of Little Rock, AK; four grandchildren Vicki Smith of Alamogordo, NM, Elisha Whiteley of Farmington, NM; Jesse Perkins and Matthew Perkins both of Nashville, TN and three great-grandchildren Austin Smith and Taylor Smith both of Alamogordo, NM and Hailey Whiteley of Farmington, NM.
Funeral services will be Saturday, June 10 at 10:00 a.m. at Frank Wilson Funeral Chapel in Odessa with Pastor Ivy Shelton officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Odessa. Pallbearers will be Larry Almquist, LaCour Clark, Scott Sibert, Bobby Bailey, Charles Bulsterbaum and Don Wise.
