Pecos - Estanislado “Tanis” Galindo, 76, of Pecos, died Sunday, May 21, 2006, in Pecos.
Rosary will be said at
7:30 p.m. today at Peaceful Garden Funeral Home Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Santa Rosa Catholic Church with the Rev. Manuel Munoz officiating. Burial will be
at Greenwood cemetery. Arrangements are by Peaceful Garden Funeral Home of Pecos.
He was born in Presidio and was Catholic.
Survivors Sons, George Galindo and Steve Galindo, both of Pecos; daughters, Elida G. Ybarra and Joann G. Galindo, both of Pecos, and Sylvia G. Lopez of Odessa; eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Fred Benton Green
DENISON - Fred Benton Green, 76, of Denison, a retired publisher, died Thursday, May 18, 2006.
No services will be held. Cremation has taken place.
He was born in Clyde.
SURVIVORS Wife, Carla Balvin Green of Denison; daughters, Mary Engle of Odessa, Cathy Bradley of Roanoke and Jillian Whitaker of Eagle Pass; sister, Pat Middlebrooks of Burnet; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Odessa - Michael “Adrian” Porter, 52, of Odessa, died on Saturday, May 20, 2006, at University Medical Center in Lubbock.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bob Bratcher officiating. Arrangements are by Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
Survivors Wife, Belinda Porter of Odessa; daughter, JoDee Porter of Odessa; mother, Dolores Porter of Los Angeles, Calif; and sister, Tina Amos of Los Angeles.

Odessa - Erma Jean Threet, 72, of Odessa, died Thursday, May 18, 2006 at Medical Center Hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Sunset Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
Survivors Husband, Roy A. Threet of Odessa; daughter, Jean A. Brazeal of Odessa; mother, Kennie Roberts of Irving; sister, Vicki Roberts of Fort Worth; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

MIDLAND - Leonardo M. Ontiveros, 71, died Saturday May 20, 2006, at Midland Memorial Hospital.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Casa de Oracion with Pastor Guillermo Morales officiating. Burial will follow at Rosehill cemetery. Arrangements are by the Martinez Smith Funeral Chapels & Crematory.
Survivors Sons, Gustavo Ontiveros of Juarez, Mexico., Juan Leonardo Ontiveros and Saul Ontiveros, both of Odessa; daughter, Veronica Ojeda of Odessa; brothers Jose Ontiveros of El Paso, and Manuel Ontiveros of Phoenix, Ariz.; sisters, Anita Ontiveros, Artemisa Ontiveros and Enriqueta Ontiveros, all of Odessa; eight grandchildren.

CRANE - Coy Pearson, 79, of Crane, died Saturday, May 20, 2006, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services are pending with Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home of Crane.
Graveside Services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, at the Crane County cemetery with Mike Pearson officiating. Arrangements are made by the Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home of Crane.
Coy was born in Megargel. He had lived in Crane since 1951. He was WWII Army Veteran.
Survivors Wife, Glenda Pearson of Crane; son, Mike Coy of Carrolton; daughters, Jan Wells, and husband Johnny, of Weatherford, and Melissa Harrison, and husband Butch, of Crane; sister, Wanda Michael of Leander; grandchildren, Heather Sherrin, Christopher Eastwood, Emily Harrison, and Jake Harrison, all of Crane; and niece, Valeria Haney of New Caney.

McCAMEY - Johnn Lane Storie, 45, a McCamey rancher, died Thursday, May 18, 2006, at his ranch home in Upton County.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the First United Methodist Church in McCamey with Reverends Sheldon Johnson and Earl Richardson officiating. Burial will follow on the family ranch. Arrangements are made by the Shaffer-Nichols Funeral home of McCamey.

She was born in Cuero.

Howard Hunt
ODESSA - Howard Hunt, 64, an accountant, died Friday, May 19, 2006, at his residence.
A memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church with the Rev. Kevin Bushart officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Arrangements are by Odessa Funeral Home.
He was born in Wellington, Kan.
