Ojinaga, Mexico - Antonio Carrasco, 84, of Andrews, a former teacher at Manuel Ojinaga Escuela Primeria and Escuela Nocturna Escuela Adultos in Ojinaga, Mexico, died Monday, May 15, 2006, at Permian Regional Medical Center in Andrews.
Services were held May 16 at McNett Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Teodulo Garcia, of La Nueva Jerusalem in Andrews officiating. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Funeraria Del Valle in Ojinaga with the Rev. Adriana Mendez, of Centro Evangelistico of Midland officiating. Burial will be at Ultimo Refugio in Ojinaga. Local arrangements are by McNett Funeral Home of Andrews and Funeraria Del Valle of Ojinaga.
He was born in Chihuahua, Mexico. He was Pentecostal.

He was born in Vanoss, Okla. He grew up in Spearsville, La., and Midland. He served in the military during World War II.

MENA, Ark. - James “Jim” Edward Carnathan, 66, of Mena, Ark., a dry wall contractor, died Tuesday, May 9, 2006, at his residence.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran. He lived in Mena 19 years and attended the New Faith Assembly Church.
