Comanche - Eddie W. Baker, 75, of Odessa, died Thursday, May 25, 2006, in Odessa.
Services were held May 27 at Northside Baptist Church with the Rev. Clydell Chapman officiating. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Stag Creek cemetery in Comanche. Arrangements are by Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
He was born in Arkansas City, Kan. He was Baptist.
Survivors Wife, Jackie Baker of Odessa; daughters, Carol Henderson and Linda Parisher, both of Odessa; and six grandchildren.

Arthur Hollingsworth
Fort Stockton/Liberty Hill - Arthur Hollingsworth, 82, an ice house laborer, died Thursday, May 25, 2006, in Odessa.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Fort Stockton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kevin Johnson officiating. Additional services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Liberty A.M.E. Church in Liberty Hill. Burial will follow at Miller cemetery. Arrangements are by Fort Stockton Funeral Home.
He was born in Liberty Hill.
Survivors Stepsons, Robert Walker of Anchorage, Ala., Benny Walker, Jesse Walker and John Ed Walker, all of Fort Stockton; stepdaughters, Linda Walker of Fort Stockton, Edna “Sissy” Blanks of San Antonio, Teresa Walker of Marietta, Ga., and Cynthia Sanford of Fort Worth; brother, Kathryn Fisher of Temple; and sister, Kathryn Fisher of Temple.

Lyle Townsend
Crane - Lyle Townsend, 65, of Crane, a retired operator for a natural gas company, died Saturday, May 27, 2006, at the Crane Memorial Hospital.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Crane County cemetery with the Rev. Lyndel Lee officiating. Arrangements are by Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
He was born in Big Spring. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church.
Survivors Wife, Genny Townsend of Crane; sons, James Alan Townsend of Midland and Virgil Townsend of Tampa, Fla.; brother, Ivan Townsend of Woodbridge, Va.; and three grandchildren.

James Richard ‘J.R.’ Wilson
Odessa - James Richard “J. R.” Wilson, age 77, of Odessa, died Tuesday, May 23, 2006, at his residence.
Services were held May 26 at Acres West Funeral Chapel. Burial was held at Rose Hill cemetery.
He was born in Paint Rock.

Services will be at 10 a.m. today at the Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
She was born in Lebanon, Ind. She was Baptist.
Survivors Sons, Robert Leroy Marshall Jr., John “Dusty” Marshall and Daniel C. Marshall, all of Odessa; one sister, Ann Lybarger of Odessa; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Adylene ‘Bakey’ Paxson
Odessa - Adylene “Bakey” Paxson, 84, of Odessa, a homemaker and a seamstress, died Wednesday, May 24, 2006, at Parks Methodist Retirement Village.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
She was born in Hartford, Ark. She was a member of Vine Baptist Church.
Survivors Son, Jim Paxson; daughter, Norma Clark; brothers, Leon Pitchford, Ronald Pitchford and Wendell Pitchford; sister, Mary Barnes; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
