Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Feb. 24 at Leakey Floral cemetery. Memorial service will be at United Methodist Church of Leakey. Arrangements are by Meadowland Crematory and American Mortuary.
He was born in Sidney, Nebraska.

Reymundo Montanez Canales
Lubbock - Services for Reymundo Montanez Canales, 62, of Lubbock, will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 16, 2007, in the W.W. Rix Chapel with Pastor Robert Renteria officiating. Burial will follow in the City of Lubbock cemetery under the direction of Rix Funeral Directors. Mr. Canales died Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2007.
He was born March 18, 1944, in Midland to Simon and Manuela (Montanez) Canales. He was a sergeant in the U.S. Army serving as a paratrooper. After his discharge from the Army, Reymundo moved to San Antonio. While in San Antonio he was the Texas Representative for the Low Rider magazine and was responsible for getting the magazine distributed in east and central Texas. He had worked for Armstrong Mechanical for over 10 years as a warehouse supervisor, very dedicated to his boss and friend Chris Carpenter.
Survivors include 3 sons, Reymundo, Raymond and David Canales; 2 daughters, Linda Graham and husband Scott and Nicole Canales; 4 grandchildren, Dustin and Angelica Graham and Jamie and Chelsea Cuellar-Canales; his mother, Manuela Hernandez; 4 brothers, Isidrio and Arthuro Barraza and Nick and David Hernandez and many nieces and nephews.
His father and brother, Alberto Hernandez preceded him in death.
Billy Gaylon Heard
Midland - Billy Gaylon Heard, age 69, passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2007, in Odessa.
He was born May 27, 1937, to Lee Nichols Heard and Lemual Earline McElroy Heard in Odessa, Texas. Billy had worked for 13 years with El Paso Natural Gas, and had also sold mobile homes and automobiles
An ordained minister evangelist with Anchor Bay Ministries, Billy touched many lives ministering to anyone he came in contact with. He was a member of In Search of Truth Ministries in Odessa. Billy loved God above all else. He also owned and made “Cowboy Bob’s Beef Jerky.” He had served on the board of the Permian Basin Fair, and was also a member of the Bird Club and Odessa Kennel Club. Billy loved his wife and family and will be greatly missed.
Billy is survived by his wife, Audrey Gayle Heard of Odessa, TX; brother, Roy Lee Heard and wife, Carol of Dallas, TX; sons, Michael Gaylon Heard, Eric Lee Heard, Ty William Wenken and wife, Tommie Lynn, all of Odessa, TX; daughters, Julia Sizemore and husband, Charlie, of Keller, TX, and Shara Donna Shaw of Odessa, TX; grandchildren, Jessica Lynn Heard and Hailey Nicole Heard, both of Pearidge, AR, Michael Kaleb Heard of Odessa, TX, Lindsay Leeann Sizemore and Kristen Rae Sizemore, both of Keller, TX, Shianne D’nae Flores and Samanthia Gayle Shaw, both of Odessa, TX; aunt, Frances Joyce Turner of Abilene, TX; two nephews and two nieces.

Delfina Vasquez March 9th, 1946, in Pecos, TX. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He is preceded in death by his mother Petra Hernandez, brother Manuel Hernandez, sister Mary Hernandez, and nephew Danny Rodriguez.

Adam Latham
Odessa - Adam Latham, 20, of Odessa, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, February 13, 2007.
He was born July 10, 1986, in Odessa to Jim and Sandy Latham. He married
Amanda Curnutt, March 13, 2006, in Odessa.
Adam attended Odessa College and worked for Latham Printing and Pizza Hut. Adam was a Christian and is with the Lord. He was a member of Second Baptist Church. He was a loving husband, dad, son, brother and grandson. We will miss his tender heart and beautiful smile. He loved helping people and was always there when you needed him.
He is survived by his wife, Amanda and son, Jayden Scott, parents, Jim and Sandy, grandparent, W.K. Dean, brother, Jim and wife Victoria, all of Odessa. One nephew, Jim, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A family visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, February 16, 2007, at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
