She was born October 6, 1941 in Barstow, Texas to Rodulfo and Eulalia Hinojos Natividad. She united in marriage to Cruz Guzman, January 6, 1968 in Pecos Tx, She was a Christian Catholic and a Homemaker. She was preceded in death by Parents; and Two brothers: Raul and Elias Natividad. Robert W. “Bill” Malone
Midland - Robert W. “Bill” Malone, of Midland, went to be with his Heavenly Father Wednesday, March 8, 2006. Our prayers were answered, Bill is now well and whole again.
He was born December 28, 1957 in Landstuhl, Germany to John Edward Malone and Ruby Ann Gorman Malone. Bill was raised and educated in Midland, Texas. After graduating from Midland Lee in 1976, he attended Midland College and went into the family business fulltime. He was currently president of Malone Business Systems. Bill was a member of the First Baptist Church of Midland. Bill’s passion was his daughter, C.C., and Texas Chopper Iron Horse motorcycles.
We thank God for the time we had with our son, brother, father, and friend. The memories of the past 48 years will always be cherished.
Bill is survived by his parents, John and Ruby Malone of Midland, TX; daughter, Christian Cole Malone of Midland, TX; brother, Michael A. Malone of Scottsdale, AZ; brother, David K. Malone of Seattle, WA; uncle and aunt, Robert E. and Ernestine Gorman of Las Cruces, NM; nieces, Suzanne Moore and her husband, Brad, of Midland, TX; nephew, Rodney Malone and his wife, Barbara, of Odessa, TX.

Jay Mac Tripp
Odessa - Jay Mac Tripp was born in Odessa, Texas on April 15, 1926, the youngest of six surviving children, to Thomas Brass Tripp and Alice Susan Bates. The Bates and Tripp families were two of the area’s pioneer ranching families. Jay Mac was taught to work hard from a young age, an ethic he endeavored to instill in his children and grandchildren.
Soon after the death of his father, Jay joined his brothers in military service volunteering for the Navy in 1944. He served aboard the battleship Iowa in the Pacific theater. On leave in Los Angeles, he met Mary Evelyn West. The two were married
in June 1946, whereupon they settled in Jay’s hometown of Odessa.
For the next several years Jay worked in the dirt construction business with his brothers. In 1956, Jay entered what was then Texas A&M College to study Veterinary medicine. He took his degree in 1961, and after practicing in Houston for several years, Jay’s intense appreciation and love of family called him back to Odessa, where he established Alpha Veterinary Clinic in 1978.
Jay and Mary lived in Odessa until 2005, where Jay Mac continuously practiced Veterinary medicine, was actively engaged in the practice of his faith, and raised an extended family until declining health encouraged him to move closer to his daughter’s family in North Zulch, Texas.
Jay Mac Tripp is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Brass and Alice Susan, his brothers Jack, George, Earl, Bill, Lee, and his son Tommy Jay.
Jay is survived by his wife Mary Evelyn Tripp, daughter Dawn Ellen Brenner, granddaughter LaTisha Whitfill Schueneman and husband John, grandson Larry (Deuce) Whitfill and wife Aimee, and great-grandchildren Mary Elizabeth Whitfill, Sonora Leigh Schueneman, William Bryant Whitfill, Thomas Jay Whitfill, and Sierra Lynn Schueneman.
Graveside services are scheduled at Ector County cemetery Tuesday, March 14 at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will be held at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Monday, March 13 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Betty Jo Turnbow
Midland - Betty Jo Turnbow passed away Friday, March 10, 2006 in Midland.
She was born April 20, 1928 in Abilene, Texas to Andrew and Nora Jobe. Betty Jo married
Landon Harven Turnbow February 24, 1945 in Abilene. She moved to Midland in 1972 and was a member of Eastern Stars and Rebecca’s.
Betty Jo is survived by her husband, Landon Harven Turnbow; her sons, Byron Turnbow and wife Brenda and Gerald Lynn Turnbow and wife Carolyn; brother Benny Ray Jobe; sister, Catherine Newson; five grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Ellis Funeral Home Sunday, March 12, 2006 between the hours of 4:00 and 5:30 P.M.

Ronnie William Ward
Midland - Ronnie William Ward, 59, of Midland, died on Sunday, March 5, 2006, at his residence.
He was born on October 30, 1946, in Gorman, Texas.
He graduated from Big Spring High School, and attended Howard County Junior College and Texas Tech. He owned and operated the Respond First Aid Systems in Midland for 16 years. Prior to this, he was a real estate agent and broker in Odessa for many years. He served in the United States Marine Corps.
Survivors include one son & daughter-in-law, Shane and Karen Ward of Big Spring; his parents, Bill and Margie Ward of Big Spring; an aunt, Anna Smith; one granddaughter, Stevi Ward of Big Spring.

Mary Price Womack
Midland - Mary Price Womack, of Midland, passed away Thursday, March 9, 2006.
She was born September 7, 1924 to Oscar Byron Price and Lela Mary Whipkey Price in Colorado City, Texas. A graduate of Colorado City High School, Mary continued her education at Hardin-Simmons University receiving her Bachelor of Music in 1946. On January 24, 1947, she married
T. W. “Jack” Womack. The couple moved to Odessa, Texas in 1950 where Jack established and developed a successful advertising business, Womack-Claypoole-Griffin, which operated for over 40 years and expanded to Dallas and San Antonio. Mary was primarily a homemaker, but also taught piano for many years, and was the church pianist for First Baptist Church in Odessa.
Mary was a strong Christian wife and mother whose life was an expression of her deep faith. She was active in every church congregation with which she was involved including First Baptist Odessa, Trinity Baptist in San Antonio, Trinity Baptist in Kerrville, and most recently, St. Luke’s United Methodist Church in Midland. She was an active supporter of Market Place Ministries, Campus Crusade for Christ and other missionary endeavors.
Mary’s family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the care giving staff of Manor Park, Inc. and Home Hospice.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and son, Thomas Price Womack.
Mary is survived by her husband, T. W. “Jack” Womack of Midland, TX; son and daughter-in-law, R. He was born on February 28, 2006, in Midland.

Joy Marie Baer
Odessa - Joy Marie Baer, age 75 of Odessa, passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2006 at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa, TX.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, January 13, 2006 at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Odessa.
Joy Marie Baer was born April 8, 1930 in Harmon OK. She was married
to James Wayne Baer Sept. 3, 1947 in Borger, TX. She and her husband then came to Odessa in 1949. Joy was a member of the North Side Baptist Church.
Her memory is carried on by: 2 sons; Donald W. Baer and his wife Penny of Dana Point CA, Jimmy K. Baer and his wife Linda of Odessa, TX, 1 daughter, Yealonda Logan and her husband Mike of Goldsmith, TX, 4 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband James, and 8 brothers and sisters.

Erma Trent
Coleman - Erma Trent, age 82, of Cross Plains, died Tuesday, January 10, 2006 at Brownwood Regional Medical Center. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday in Stevens Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ed Walters officiating. Burial will follow in the Burkett cemetery under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home, Coleman, Texas.
She was born Erma Crawley on April 24, 1923 in Limestone County, Texas, a daughter of the late Willie and Verna Newton Crawley. She grew up in Mexia and attended school at Cotton Gin. In 1941 she married
Ray Trent in Groesbeck, Texas and he preceded her in death on December 23, 1990. Mrs. Trent lived in Denver City from 1944-1988, moving to Cross Plains in 1988. She was a housewife and a member of Highway 206 Baptist Mission.
Survivors include two sons, Billy Ray Trent and wife Ellen of Crane, Texas and Wayland Trent and wife Lisa of Denver City, Texas; two daughters, Glenda Faye Bunning and husband Ted and Peggy Joyce Birchbauer all of Columbia Heights, Minnesota; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; one brother, Bud Crawley of Mexia, Texas; two sisters, Leta Glass of Mexia, Texas and Lee West of Wortham, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews.

Robert Heatly Wilson, Jr.
Midland - Robert Heatly “Bob” Wilson, Jr., passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 9, 2006.
He was born May 11, 1954 to Robert Heatly Wilson, Sr., and Jean Hughes Wilson in Midland, and had been a life long resident. After graduating from Lee High School in 1972, Bob attended Schreiner College in Kerrville where he received an associate degree in 1974. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Houston in 1976. Bob was a Technical Service Representative with Champion Chemical. He was an avid sportsman. His interests included the local Harley Davidson Motor Cycle Club, hunting, bass and fly fishing. Bob was an accomplished land and underwater photographer and an ardent worldwide scuba diver. He learned to scuba dive at the Midland YMCA at the age of 16, and was a certified Master Diver. Bob’s memberships included the Midland-Odessa H.O.G. Chapter, Texas State Rifle Association, and he was a lifetime member of the NRA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Dr. Howard H. Wilson.
Bob is survived by his brother, Richard D. Wilson of Midland, TX; sister, Martha “Molly” W. Chapman and husband, Buddy, and their children, Mike and Jeanette Bunch, all of Burleson, TX; uncles, Charles Harris of Odessa, TX; R.V. Hughes and wife, Donna, of Irving, TX; Paul Ray Hughes and wife, Mary, and their daughter, Kari, of Coppell, TX; cousins, Lois Platt and husband, Frank, of Haslet, TX; Chuc Harris and wife, Julie, of Houston, TX; and numerous relatives. Also surviving are best friends, Janie Beck and David Diffie.
