Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Hubbard-Kelly Chapel with the Revs. Jarvis Philpot and Emmett Barnard officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
He was born in Carthage.

ODESSA -- Alice Lee Lynch, 60, of Odessa, a nurse’s assistant, died Tuesday, March 30, 1999, at her residence.

She was born in Matador and had lived in Odessa for 43 years. She was Baptist.

She was born in Mountainburg, Ark., and moved to Odessa 46 years ago from Oberlin, La.

KERMIT -- Simona Porras, 62, of Kermit, a homemaker, died Wednesday, March 31, 1999, at Odessa Regional Hospital.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Kermit with the Rev. John Lucido officiating. Burial will be at Kermit cemetery. Arrangements by Cooper Funeral Chapel Inc.
She was born in Redford and was a lifelong resident of Kermit. She was Catholic.

He was born in Pottsboro. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.

DRUMRIGHT, Okla. -- Vernon Keith Wright, 64, of Odessa, a retired oilwell drilling superintendent, died Saturday, March 27, 1999, in Odessa.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Michael’s Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Terry Douglass officiating. Burial will be at Stroud City cemetery in Stroud, Okla. Arrangements by Michael’s Funeral Home.
He was born in Iowa City, Iowa, and moved to Odessa in 1963. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War.
