Services will be at 3 p.m. today at South Seminole Baptist Church with the Rev. Shane Kinnison officiating. Burial will be at Gaines County Memorial cemetery North. Arrangements by Boyer Funeral Home.
He was born in Lamesa and lived for 44 years in Seminole. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was Baptist.

ANDREWS -- John Wesley "Wes" McCready, 78, of Andrews, a retired Exxon Oil Co. employee, died Friday, Nov. 20, 1998, at Andrews Nursing Center.

He was born in Tuskugee, Okla. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
