Robbie Sutton

ODESSA - Robbie Lee Sutton, 83, a retired bus driver, died Tuesday, July 22, 1997, at Medical Center Hospital.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Bethlehem Baptist Church with the Rev. Roscoe Sutton officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.

She was born in Carthage and was a resident of Odessa for 55 years. She was a Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Sons, Leroy Brown, Eugene Brown, Charles Martin and Leroy Jessie Brown, all of Odessa, Buford Brown of Brooklyn, N.Y.; and Oscar Foreman of Oakland, Calif.; daughter, Delora Martin of Odessa; brother, Roscoe Sutton of Odessa; sisters, Emma Sutton, Lucile Beck, Mildred Burts and Hazel Servance, all of Odessa; 30 grandchildren; and 51 great-grandchildren.

Effie Wood

ADA, Okla. - Effie Leona Hunt Wood, 85, a retired teacher, died Monday, July 21, 1997, at Sapulpa Nursing Home.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. today at First Free Will Baptist Church in Ada, Okla., with the Rev. Keith Burden officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park cemetery. Arrangements by Criswell Funeral Home.

She was born in Oakmen, Okla., and she was a lifetime resident of Ada, Okla. She was a Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Sons, Lynn Wood of Bryan, Texas, and Glen Wood of Odessa; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Mabel Donaghe

ODESSA - Mabel Donaghe, 80, a homemaker, died Sunday, July 27, 1997, at her daughter's residence in Odessa.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Nalley-Pickle and Welch Rosewood Chapel with the Rev. Mike Vestal and the Rev. Robert Berry officiating. Burial will be at Trinity Memorial Park. Arrangements by Nalley-Pickle and Welch Funeral Home.

She was born in Swenson and she was a resident of Odessa. She was a Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Sons, Willie Donaghe of Austin and Morrison Donaghe of Big Spring; daughters, Betty Ann Kirby of Odessa and Joy Vestal of Palestine; brother, Nathan Gordon of Torrance, Calif.; sisters, Allie Mae Ballard of Gardendale, Willie M. Daniels of Okmulgee, Okla. and Donnie Rhodes of Eufaula, Okla.; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Jacob Fehr

SEMINOLE - Jacob Fehr, 45, a farm laborer, died Sunday, July 27, 1997, at Cordell Memorial Hospital in Snyder.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Mennonite Evangelical Church in Seminole with Neal Thiessen officiating. Burial will be at Gaines County cemetery. Arrangements by Boyer Funeral Home.

He was born in Mexico and he was a resident of Big Springs since 1994. He was a member of Mennonite Evangelical Church.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Helen Fehr of Big Spring; sons, Jake Fehr of Amarillo and Pete Fehr of Big Spring; daughter, Sara Fehr of Seminole; brothers, Henry Fehr of Big Spring, Pete Fehr of Seminole and John Fehr of Mexico; sisters, Mary Reimer, Sara Reimer and Henetha Klassen, all of Seminole, and Elizabeth Wall of Mexico; and three grandchildren.

Inez Marceleno

ODESSA - Inez G. Marceleno, 65, a mechanic, died Friday, July 25, 1997, at Deerings Nursing Home.

Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. today at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will be at Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.

He was born in Colorado City, Okla. and he lived in Odessa for the past 12 years. He was Catholic.

SURVIVORS: Sons, Inez Marceleno Jr., Juan Marceleno and Jose Marceleno, all of Odessa; step-sons, Willie Sturgeon, Jimmy Sturgeon and Jacinto Olivares, all of Odessa; father, Jesus Marceleno of Odessa; brother, Manuel Marceleno of Elk City, Okla., Mac Marceleno, Jesse Marceleno and Cruz Marceleno, all of Altus, Okla.; and sister, Julia Vacamundez of Altus.

Christopher Truex

MOORE, OKLA. - Christopher Davis Truex, 39, inside refrigeration salesman, died July 21, 1997, in Oklahoma from injuries suffered in a traffic accident.

Memorial services were held Friday at Emmanus Baptist Church. Arrangements by Hahn-Cook/--treet & Draper Funeral Home of Oklahoma City.

He was born in Odessa and moved to Moore from Odessa. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and a 1975 Permian High School Graduate.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Beth N. Truex of Moore; daughters, Stephanie Rose Truex and Georgia Ruth Truex, both of Moore; parents, Ned and Mary Truex of Odessa; brothers, Mike Truex of Houston, Texas, Pat Truex of Monahans, Texas, Tim Truex and Jeff Thummel, both of Odessa; sisters, Janelle Edwards of Midland, Texas and Joan Sanders of Lexington, Texas.

Joe Biggerstaff

KINGSLAND - Joe Bob Biggerstaff, 71, of Kingsland, died Monday, July 28, 1997, in Llano.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. today at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Walter Knight officiating. Burial will be at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park in Burnet County. Arrangements by Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Home.

He was born in Silverton and was a resident of Kingsland for 19 years after moving from Odessa. He was a Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Doris Biggerstaff of Kingsland; sons, Joey Biggerstaff of Marble Falls and J.J. Jackson of Nice, Calif.; and two grandchildren.

Esteban Lara

MIDLAND - Esteban V. 'Steve' Lara, 18, died Sunday, July 27, 1997, in an auto accident in Midland.

Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Midland. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Park. Arrangements by Ellis Funeral Home. He was a lifetime resident of Midland. He was a Catholic.

SURVIVORS: Parents, Secundino 'Dino' Lara Jr. and Garcie Lara, both of Midland; brothers, Dino Lara III and Jaime Lara, both of Midland; sister, Anna Marie Lara of Midland; grandfather, Manuel Villa of Midland; grandmother, Inocencia Lara of Midland; and great-grandmothers, Juanita Hinojos Bitolas of Odessa and Maria Rivera Lara of Bakersfield, Calif.

Taylor Levins

ANDREWS - Taylor Ryan Levins, 2, of Brownfield, died Sunday, July 27, 1997, at Columbia Park Hospital in Kissimmee, Fla., after a lengthy illness.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at McNett Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. H.A. Hanks officiating. Burial will be at Andrews North cemetery. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.

He was a lifetime resident of Brownfield.

SURVIVORS: Mother, Kim Levins of Brownfield; grandparents, Keith Levins and Bobbie Levins, both of Andrews; great-grandparents, Bob Taylor and June Taylor of Andrews and Hollis Levins of Andrews.

Inez Lopez Sr.

ODESSA - Inez Contreras Lopez Sr., 65, a retired laborer, died Monday, July 28, 1997, in Odessa.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Martinez Funeral Home Chapel with Mario Pena officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.

He was born in Esperanza and was a resident of Odessa for 24 years. He was a member of the Church of Christ.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Martina Lopez of Odessa; sons, Alfred Lopez, Andy Lopez and Eddie Lopez, all of Odessa; daughters, Sylvia Lozano, Patsy Hernandez, Sulema Casillas, Melinda Villareal and Deanna Brito, all of Odessa; brothers, Victor Lopez, Catarino Lopez, Magarito Lopez and Manuel Lopez, all of Odessa; sisters, Rita Galindo of Odessa and Paula Vasquez of Phoenix; 24 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Robert Roberts

ODESSA - Robert Lee Roberts, 88, a retired radiator repairman, died Monday, July 28, 1997, at Slaton Care Center in Slaton.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. today at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Jack Watkins officiating. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

He was born in Waco and has been a resident of Odessa since 1959.

SURVIVORS: Sons, Donald Roberts of Lubbock and Walter Roberts of Wynnewood, Okla.; and daughter, Helen Stephens of Lubbock.
