KERMIT -- Bernice Elliott, 76, of Kermit, a homemaker, died Thursday, Oct. 22, 1998, at Winkler County Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Munday and was a Kermit resident for 55 years.

MIDLAND -- Dennis Frank Garrett, 82, of Midland, a retired drilling contractor, died Thursday, Oct. 22, 1998, at his residence.

He was born in Placedo-Port Lavaca and moved to Midland in 1951. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
