Vinita Weber
STINNETT -- Vinita "Nita" Weber, 75, of Amarillo, a retired legal secretary and cook, died Friday, Oct. 30, 1998, in Amarillo.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday Sunset Memorial cemetery with the Rev. Dan Powers officiating. Arrangements by Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors of Amarillo.
She was born in Carmen, Okla., and moved to Amarillo in 1983 from Odessa. She was a member of the Assembly of God church.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Jerry Weber of Borger, Dale Weber of Amarillo and Mike Weber of Stinnett; daughters, Nancy Weber-Hill of Odessa, Patty Sursa and Cindy Goforth, both of Amarillo; sisters, Ama Russell of Enid, Okla., and Velma Turner of Altamont, Kan.; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Josie Davis
OKLAHOMA CITY -- Josie Emma Davis, 88, of Moore, Okla., died Wednesday, Oct. 28, 1998, at Deaconess Hospital.
Services were Saturday, Oct. 31, 1998, at Resthaven Funeral Home with the Revs. Tim Miller and Don Davis officiating. Burial was at Resthaven Memory Gardens. Arrangements by Resthaven Funeral Home.
She was born in Georgia, Texas, and was a resident of Moore, Okla., for 24 years.
SURVIVORS: Sons, George C. Davis of Kermit, Cotton Davis of Odessa and Larry Davis of Plano; daughters, Betty Tilson of Moore, Okla., Pay Treat of Allen and Juanita Davis of Bean; sisters, Edna Rittenberry of Odessa and Marie Webb of Dallas; 21 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Virginia Greenwood
ODESSA -- Virginia Rae Greenwood, 69, of Odessa, a retired office manger, died Thursday, Oct. 29, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital.
No services were held. Arrangements by Odessa Funeral Home.
She was born in Cleveland, Ohio. She was Methodist.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Howard Greenwood of Odessa; sons, Tom Greenwood of Lake Dallas and Jerald Greenwood of West Friendship, Md.; daughter, Glenda Greenwood of Alpine; and one grandchild.

Cornelia Harper
ODESSA -- Cornelia Harper, 86, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Wednesday, Oct. 28, 1998, at Deerings Nursing Home.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Parks Memorial Church with the Rev. Joe Parks officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Odessa Funeral Home Angeles Memorial Chapel.
She was born in Burkburnett.
SURVIVORS: Son, Lynn Harper of Odessa; brothers, James Wiley of Germany, Joe Mitchell Wiley of Odessa and Alan Wiley of Denver.

H. Warren Lutes
EL PASO -- H. Warren Lutes, 68, of Odessa, retired from the Navy, died Saturday, Oct. 31, 1998, at Avalon Place Nursing Home.
Graveside services will be at Fort Bliss cemetery. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
He was born in Portland, Ore., and had been a resident of Odessa for 30 years.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Lois Lutes of Odessa; sons, Robert W. Lutes of San Angelo and Jon Lutes of Houston; daughter, Deena Tveit of Lubbock; sisters, Beverly Hays of Sun City, Ariz., and Diane Davis of San Diego; and nine grandchildren.

Bobbie Deuley
MONAHANS -- Bobbie Deuley, 67, of Monahans, a retired employee of First State Bank of Monahans, died Saturday, Oct. 31, 1998, at her residence.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Third & Dwight Church of Christ with Greg Holly officiating. Burial will be at Monahans Memorial cemetery. Arrangements by Harkey Funeral Home.
She was born in Brownfield and was a longtime resident of Monahans. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
SURVIVORS: Mother, Edna Baggett of Lovington, N.M.; daughter, Connie Kemp Hawkins of Midland; sister, Adwina Thomas of Challis, Idaho; brother, Richard Baggett of Lovington, N.M.; and one grandchild.

Agapita Fierro
ALPINE -- Agapita Fierro, 89, of Alpine, a homemaker, died Saturday, Oct. 31, 1998, at her residence.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church with the Rev. Beto Lopez officiating. Rosary will be said at 7 tonight at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. Burial will be at Holy Angels Funeral Home. Arrangements by Geeslin Funeral Home.
She was born in Marathon and had lived in Alpine since 1926. She was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Manuel Fierro and Rex Fierro, both of Alpine and Edward Fierro of Presidio; daughter, Isabell Salas of Alpine; 15 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Ruby Grasty
PALESTINE -- Ruby D. Conaway Grasty, 85, of Colorado City, owner of Grasty Grocery Store in Palestine, died Friday, Oct. 30, 1998, at Mitchell County Hospital.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Bailey & Foster Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ron Sloan officiating. Burial will be at Broyles Chapel cemetery. Arrange-ments by Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.
She was born in Palestine. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Fonda Jordan of Colorado City; sons, Lawrence C. Grasty of Granbury and Roy L. Grasty of Palestine; sisters, Evelyn Farris, Emarie Thornton, Fay Taylor and Opal Warren, all of Palestine; brothers, Dalton Conaway of Athens, Texas, and Jack Conaway of Frankston; 17 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Refugia Porras
MULESHOE -- Refugia Jasso Porras, 79, of Big Spring, a homemaker, died Friday Oct. 30, 1998, in Big Spring.
Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. today at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with the Rev. Alfonso San Juan officiating. Burial will be at Bailey County cemetery. Arrangements by Ellis Funeral Home in Muleshoe.
She was born in Edna. She was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Joe Porras of Big Spring and Armando Porras of Plainview; daughters, Angelita Gonzales of Tulare, Calif., Beatrice Romero of Houston, Lupe Porras of Snyder and Rosie Rodriguez of Odessa; sisters, Julia Martinez of Westlaco and Maggie Montes of Santa Rosa; 32 grandchildren, 63 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Clayton Tolliver
EL PASO -- Clayton Ray Tolliver, 69, of El Paso, a retired horse trainer, died Sunday, Nov. 1, 1998.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Harding-Orr & McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Memory Gardens cemetery. Arrangements by Harding-Orr & McDaniel Funeral Home.
He was born in Sonora and was a longtime resident of El Paso.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Maggie R. Tolliver of El Paso; sons, William Jo Tolliver of Odessa, Fla., Robert Wayne Tolliver of Phoenix and James Harold Tolliver of Houston; and 15 grandchildren.

L. D. Ashley
MONAHANS -- L. D. Ashley, 73, of Monahans, a truck driver, died Sunday, Nov. 1, 1998, at Medical Center.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Christian Fellowship Church with the Rev. Jimmy Bryant officiating. Arrangements by Harkey Funeral Home.
He was born in Hot Springs, Ark., and was a veteran. He was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Marie Ashley of Monahans; sons, Wayne Burrow of Burnet and Ronnie Burrow of Wickett; sister, Pauline Threlkeld of Benton, Ark., and Bertha Angel of Mesa, Az.; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

ODESSA -- Ronny Cox, 51, a plumber, died Sunday, Nov. 1, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Rose Hill cemetery with the Rev. Dewey Blevins officiating. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.
He was born in Sherman and came to Odessa from Fort Worth. He was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Son, Brent Cox of Amarillo; daughter, Mary Cox of Odessa; stepdaughter, Amanda Wynne of Odessa; brothers, Bobby Wayne Cox of Plano, Donney Howard Cox of Arlington and Gary Dean Cox of Dallas; sister, Margaret Ann Gwenn of Atlanta, Ga.; and two grandchildren.

Roy Cox
ODESSA -- Roy Temas Cox, 81, a retired barber, died Monday, Nov. 2, 1998, at Parks Methodist Retirement Village.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First United Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Terry Pugh officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.He was born in Dublin and came to Odessa in 1949. He was a Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Johnie Cox of Cisco, Cary G. Cox and Carroll D. Cox, both of Odessa; daughter, Leta D. Scott of Odessa; brother, Lynder Cox of Dublin; sister, Hollie Collins of Dublin; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
