She was born in Iowa Park. She was a member of the Assembly of God church.

ODESSA -- Eduvijes Acosta, 75, a homemaker, died Sunday, Aug. 23, 1998, at Midland Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Terlingua. She was a Christian.

ANDREWS -- Edward L. "Ed" Reid, 68, a former driller and constable, died Saturday, Aug. 22, 1998, at the All Saints Episcopal Hospital in Fort Worth.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Andrews Old cemetery with the Rev. Monty Henson officiating. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home of Andrews.
He was born in Sundown. He moved to Andrews in 1954 until he moved to Fort Worth in 1995. He was a constable in Andrews from 1965-1968. He was a Baptist and had served in the Marines.

He was born in Clarendon and moved to Odessa in 1953 from Snyder. He was a veteran of the Army Air Corps. He was Baptist.

He was born in Alpine and was a lifelong resident of Marfa. He was Catholic.
