Mildred Hadley
MADISONVILLE -- Mildred Laverne Balch Hadley, 79, of Madisonville, a retired employee of Gunn Jewelry Store, died Sunday, Nov. 8, 1998.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 24, 1998, at Mount Tabor cemetery with the Rev. Charles Heath officiating. Arrangements by Southern Heritage Funeral Home of Bedias.
She was born in Big Spring and moved to Madisonville 22 years ago from Odessa.
SURVIVORS: Grandsons, Kenny Price of Madisonville and David Price of The Woodlands; and seven great-grandchildren.

Clois Jones
COLEMAN -- Clois F. Jones, 82, of Coleman, a retired mechanic, died Sunday in Coleman.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel with James Bailey officiating. Burial will be at Coleman cemetery. Arrangements by Stevens Funeral Home.
He was born in Eastland County and moved to Coleman in 1985 from Odessa. He was an Air Force veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Winnie Jones of Coleman; daughter, Shirley Ann Tucker of Odessa; brothers, Lavell Jones of Santa Anna and Donald Jones of Coleman; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Frank Miller
ROSCOE -- Frank O’Neal Miller, 73, of Sweetwater, a retired oilfield worker, died Monday, Nov. 9, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital.
Graveside services will be at 3:30 p.m. today at Roscoe cemetery with the Rev. Phil Collard officiating. Arrangements by McCoy Funeral Home.
He was born in Roscoe. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
SURVIVORS: Sisters, Lillie B. Wallace and Verna Akers, both of Roscoe and Ruby O’Dell Wallace of Seminole; and brother, Maurice Miller of Odessa.

Mary Montgomery
ODESSA -- Mary Lillian Montgomery, 84, of Odessa, a retired cafeteria worker, died Saturday, Nov. 7, 1998, at Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Craig Martindale officiating. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was born in Fort Worth and had lived in Odessa since 1947. She was Presbyterian.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Ann Findley of Arlington, Va.; sons, Joel Fink of Arlington, Texas, Jack Fink of Aston, Pa., and Leon Fink Las Cruces, N.M.; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Magdaleno Quintanilla
ODESSA -- Magdaleno Guajardo "El Guero" Quintanilla, 71, of Odessa died Friday, Nov. 6, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Anthony Catholic Church with the Rev. Gilbert Rodriguez officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Odessa Funeral Home Angeles Memorial Chapel.
He was born in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico. He was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Mary Helen Quintanilla of Odessa; son, Severo V. Carrasco of Van Horn; daughters, Lupe Quintanilla and Mary Grace Quintanilla, both of Odessa; brothers, Jose Cruz Quintanilla of Alamo, Jose Quintanilla of San Antonio and Hector Quintanilla of Houston; sister, Concepcion Solis of Fresno, Calif.; 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Laura Sailors
ODESSA -- Laura Verbal Sailors, 76, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Sunday, Nov. 8, 1998, at her residence.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Robert Fletcher officiating. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was born Pryor, Okla.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Larry Keith Sailors and Cecil Dale Sailors, both of Odessa; daughter, Patricia Ann Browder of Bedford; and five grandchildren.

Marcos Segovia
ODESSA -- Marcos Segovia, 53, of Odessa, a truck driver, died Sunday, Nov. 8, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Gilbert Rodriguez officiating. Rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. today and Wednesday at Martinez Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rose Hill cemetery. Funeral arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.
He was born in Pecos. He was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Son, Daniel Segovia of Odessa; daughters, Rebecca Romo and Karina Flores, both of Odessa; brothers, George Segovia of Jal, N.M., and Dulces Segovia of Odessa; sisters, Jesuscita Lopez of Big Spring, Florencia Dominguez of Odessa, Julia Briones of Kermit and Abby Montoya of San Angelo; and 11 grandchildren.

James Wade
MIDLAND -- James Weldon Wade, 53, of Midland, a retired postal worker, died Sunday, Nov. 8, 1998, in Midland.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Ellis Funeral Home Chapel with Ralph Gates officiating. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Park. Arrangements by Ellis Funeral Home.
He was born in Snyder. He was an Army veteran of Vietnam. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Rita Wade of Midland; son, Shane Alan Wade of Midland; daughter, Jessica Rene Wade of Midland; mother, Ti Wade of Midland; brothers, Tony Wade of Midland, Ricky Wade of Kilgore; sister, Jeanie Dodd of Midland; and one grandchild.

Thomas West
SEMINOLE -- Thomas Joshua West, 17, of Seminole, a high school student, died Sunday, Nov. 8, 1998, at Memorial Hospital.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. today at Seminole Junior High School Auditorium with James Smith and James Satterwhite officiating. Burial will be at Gaines County cemetery. Arrangements by Boyer Funeral Home.
He was born in Ballinger and had been a resident of Seminole for four years after moving from Snyder. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
SURVIVORS: Parents, Nathan and Kay West of Seminole; grandmothers, Cleo Clare of Snyder and Nelta Jean West of Abilene; brother, Michael Ray Thompson of Abilene; and sister, Regina Renaee Fenwick of Winters.

Domingo Equiniones
STANTON -- Domingo Equiniones, 62, of Stanton, a brick mason, died Monday, Nov. 9, 1998, in Midland.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will be at St. Joseph cemetery. Arrangements by Gilbreath Funeral Home.
He was born in Stanton. He was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Leo Equiniones, Carlos Equiniones and Domingo Equiniones Jr., all of Midland, and Steven Equiniones of Odessa; daughter, Priscilla Meek of Midland; sister, Aurora Sanchez of Stanton; brothers, Alfredo Brito and Eleno Brito, both of Stanton; and five grandchildren.

T.J. Jones
MOUNT VERNON -- T.J. Jones, 77, of Jamestown died Friday, Nov. 6, 1998, in a Tyler hospital.
Graveside services were Monday at Mount Vernon City cemetery with the Rev. Floyd Kaiser officiating. Arrangements by Harvey Funeral Home.
He was born in Blackwell.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Opal M. Jones of Jamestown; daughters, Candy Rommell of Garland and Joy Darnard of Jamestown; sons, John Jones Jr. of Arlington and Waylan Gillihan of Fort Worth; sister, Estelle Windsor of Odessa; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Charlie Mahan
COMANCHE -- Charlie Elmer Mahan, 84, of Hasse, a retired driller in the oilfield, died Monday, at his residence.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Rocky Creek cemetery. Arrangements by Hall & Sons Funeral Home.
He was born in Rowden and moved to Hasse nine years ago from Brownwood. He was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Nancy Veatrice (Bea) Mahan of Comanche; daughters, Wilda Pretchinky of Odessa and Jean Bradd of Battle Creek, Mich.; son, R.E. Mahan of Midland and Bill Palmer of Odessa; step-son, Bill Lisenbee of Magnolia; 18 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
