JACKSONVILLE -- T.I. Parks, 71, of Ponta, retired owner of Parks Garage and a truck driver, died Monday, Nov. 9, 1998, in a Tyler hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Bill Morgan and Sam Brown officiating. Burial will be at Evans cemetery in Magazine, Ark. Arrangements by Thompson Funeral Home.
He was born in Draw and had lived in Ponta for 21 years. He was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Dakota Parks of Ponta; sons, Dewayne Parks of Odessa, Ronnie Parks and Lonnie Parks of Fort Stockton; daughter, Elaine Hammons of Downsville, La.; brother, Vernon "Sleepy" Parks of Lubbock; and five grandchildren.

Lola Bayless
SNYDER -- Lola Dee Bayless, 92, of Hermleigh, a homemaker, died Tuesday, Nov. 10, 1998, at Cogdell Memorial Hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Bell-Cypert-Seale Chapel with the Rev. Rex Reynolds and Homer Anderson officiating. Burial will be at Hermleigh cemetery. Arrangements by Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
She was born in Hermleigh and was a lifelong resident of Scurry County.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Bill Bayless of Odessa, Kiah Bayless of Whittier, Calif., and Carl Bayless of Houston; sister, Lilly Atchley of Ivanhoe, Calif.; seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

James Johnson
ODESSA -- James Johnson, 73, of Odessa died Friday, Nov. 6, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Odessa Funeral Home Angeles Memorial Chapel.
He was born in Winston.

Bertha Jones
HOUSTON -- Bertha Jean Jones, 78, of Houston died Tuesday, Nov. 10, 1998, at Bellaire General Hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Miller Funeral Services. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Miller Funeral & Cremation Services.
She was born in Merryville, La., and moved to Houston from Odessa.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Lynette Jones Lewis of Houston; son, Luther Paul Jones of San Antonio; and four grandchildren.

Donald Kipgen
ODESSA -- Donald Joseph Kipgen, 71, of Midland, superintendent for Reading & Bates Petroleum, died Wednesday, Nov. 11, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services will be at a later date. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
He was born in Artesia, N.M., and moved to Odessa in 1969 from Maljamar, N.M. He was an Air Force veteran of World War II.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Beth Clancy of Midland; son, Paul Raymond Kipgen of The Colony; daughter, Anna Lynn Kipgen Sturivant of Allen; brother, Thomas Jefferson Kipgen of Midland; and four grandchildren.

Kerry Price
ANDREWS -- Kerry Price, 36, of Andrews, a receptionist, died Tuesday, Nov. 10, 1998, at University Medical Center in Lubbock.
Services will be at 4 p.m. Friday at Means Memorial United Methodist Church with the Revs. Jim Terry and David King officiating. Burial will be at Andrews Old cemetery. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.
She was born in Andrews. She was Methodist.

David Terry
ANDREWS -- David "Bo" Terry, 52, of Andrews, a pumper for Pioneer Natural Resources, died Tuesday, Nov. 10, 1998, near Stanton.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at McKinney Acres Baptist Church with the Rev. John McQueen officiating. Burial will be at Andrews North cemetery. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.
He was born in Arkansas and moved to Andrews in 1955. He was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Brenda Terry of Andrews; son, David Terry of Denver, Colo.; daughter, Angela Morris of Andrews; mother, Myrtle Williams of Spearman; sister, Linda Terry of Stinnett; and one grandchild.

Virgie Whitsett
MONAHANS -- Virgie M. Whitsett, 91, of Monahans, a homemaker, died Wednesday, Nov. 11, 1998, at Memorial Hospital and Medical Center in Midland.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Southside Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill Halter officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood cemetery in Jacksboro. Arrangements by Harkey Funeral Home.
She was born in Sulfer, Okla.
SURVIVORS: Daughters, Norma Ann Haines of Monahans, Emma Jane Horton of Oklahoma City and Mary Earlene Heisler of White Earth, N.M.; brothers, Boyce Myers of Woodbridge, Va., and John Myers of Reno, Nev.; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Kenneth Williamson
ODESSA -- Kenneth Everett Williamson, 76, of Odessa died Saturday, Nov. 7, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Odessa Funeral Home Angeles Memorial Chapel.
He was born in Syracuse, Kan.

Henry McCauley
ODESSA -- Henry Dexter McCauley, 67, of Odessa died Monday, Nov. 9, 1998, at Deering’s Nursing Home.
Services are pending with Odessa Funeral Home Angeles Memorial Chapel.

Loretta Evans
CRANE -- Loretta Ann Russell Evans, 67, of Crane died Wednesday, Nov. 11, 1998, at Crane County Care Center.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home with the Rev. Emmett Barnard officiating. Burial will be at Resthaven cemetery in McCamey. Arrangements by Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
She was born in McCamey and had been a resident of Crane for 10 years. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Mearl Edward Evans of Crane; sons, Delbert Evans, of Crane; and sister, Ruby Allen of Odessa.

COLEMAN -- Julia Lederer, 96, of Coleman, a retired teacher, died Tuesday, Nov. 10, 1998, at Coleman County Medical Center.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today at Coleman cemetery Pavilion with the Rev. Reed Justice officiating. Arrangements by Stevens Funeral Home.
She was born in Cameron and moved to Coleman in 1996 from Fort Stockton. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Nieces, Doris Elaine Saunders of Fort Stockton and Margaret Saunders of Coleman; and a nephew, Tommy Saunders of Coleman.

Frances McCalla
ALPINE -- Frances McCalla, 79, of Alpine, a homemaker, died Tuesday, Nov. 10, 1998, at Big Bend Regional Medical Center after a lengthy illness.
No services are scheduled at this time. Arrangements by Geeslin Funeral Home.
She was born in Columbus, N.M., and had lived in Alpine for eight years after moving from Terlingua. She was Methodist.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Frank McCalla of Alpine; step-sons, Richard McCalla of Seabrook, Billy McCalla of Austin and Gerald McCalla of Duncanville; and step-daughter, Sandra McCauley of Kingsville.
