Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Bill Morgan and Sam Brown officiating. Burial will be at Evans cemetery in Magazine, Ark. Arrangements by Thompson Funeral Home.
He was born in Draw and had lived in Ponta for 21 years. He was Baptist.

SNYDER -- Lola Dee Bayless, 92, of Hermleigh, a homemaker, died Tuesday, Nov. 10, 1998, at Cogdell Memorial Hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Bell-Cypert-Seale Chapel with the Rev. Rex Reynolds and Homer Anderson officiating. Burial will be at Hermleigh cemetery. Arrangements by Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
She was born in Hermleigh and was a lifelong resident of Scurry County.

ODESSA -- Donald Joseph Kipgen, 71, of Midland, superintendent for Reading & Bates Petroleum, died Wednesday, Nov. 11, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital.

He was born in Artesia, N.M., and moved to Odessa in 1969 from Maljamar, N.M. He was an Air Force veteran of World War II.
