She was born in Smith County, Ark., and moved to Odessa in 1935 from New Mexico. She was Methodist.

She was born in Paris, Texas, and had lived in Lake Brownwood for two years. She was a Baptist.

MIDLAND -- Johnnie Burns, 77, of Midland, a retired employee of Basin News Agency, died Sunday, July 19, 1998, at a local hospital.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. today at Ellis Funeral Home with the Rev. Ty Morris Jr. officiating. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Park. Arrangements by Ellis Funeral Home.
He was born in Big Spring and moved to Midland in 1940. He was an Army veteran. He was a Baptist.

ODESSA -- Jim Bob Gray, 66, of Odessa, a retired owner of a construction company, died Saturday, July 11, 1998, at his residence.
Graveside services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Rose Hill cemetery with the Rev. Ray Hickman officiating. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
He was born in Dallas and moved to Odessa in 1990 from El Paso. He was an Army veteran.

GOLDSMITH -- Eddie McBride, 84, of Goldsmith, a homemaker, died Wednesday, July 15, 1998, in Orange, Calif.
Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Hubbard-Kelly Chapel with the Revs. Kenneth Jones and Gary Brown officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
She was born in Clay County, and moved to Goldsmith in the 1950s from Hobbs, N.M. She was a Southern Baptist and a member of the Eastern Star.

FORT STOCKTON -- Josephine "Josie" Peabody, 91, of Imperial, a homemaker, died Monday, July 20, 1998, in Crane.

She was born in Elmo and had been a resident of Imperial since 1953 after moving from north Pecos County. She was a Baptist.

He was born in Fort Stockton and was a lifelong resident. He was a Catholic.
