Wanda Faye Clapham
ODESSA -- Funeral services for Wanda Faye Clapham, 75, of Conroe, will be held Monday, July 27, 1998, at 3 p.m. in Cashner Colonial Chapel with the Rev. Hank Demous officiating. Interment will follow in Garden Park cemetery with Cashner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Clapham was born January 4, 1923, in Plainview, Ark., and passed away July 23, 1998, in Conroe. She was a member of the I.P.T.A., the World Organization of China Painters, the Big Thicket Porcelain Art Club, the Conroe Porcelain Art Club, and the West of Pecos Porcelain Art Club.
She was also an alumna of Haskell College and Kansas University. She was a member of the Chickasaw Indian Nation, and Who's Who in American Indian Women Artists. She was a lecturer and author of four books on China Painting. Mrs. Clapham was a recipient of the Distinguished Arkansas Traveler Award. Her internationally known talent in painting and lecturing, and wonderful sense of humor will be greatly missed.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Jeanne and Robert Fouke of Broken Arrow, Okla.; a son Mark Clapham of Conroe; her grandchildren Charlene Watts and husband Brad, John Fouke and wife Krista and Holly Ann Clapham; and great-granddaughter Victoria Fouke.
Pallbearers are Mark Clapham, Kent Bruce, Bob Fouke, Brad Watts, John Fouke, Don Coleman and Leo Hewett.
In lieu of remembrances, donations may be made to the Crown of Texas Hospice Foundation, 1000 South Jefferson, Amarillo, 79101.
Robert King
ODESSA -- Graveside services for Robert "Bob" King, 76, of Odessa, are scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Jim Ray Brown officiating. Arrangements are by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
Mr. King died Saturday, July 25, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was born Dec. 19, 1921 in Campbell, Texas.
He was a member of the Crescent Park Baptist Church. A retired real estate agent, he came to Odessa in 1996 from Carlsbad, Calif. He was a crew member of the 98 Bombardment Squadron in the European theater during World War II.
Survivors include his caregiver and longtime friend, C. Whitney Smith of Odessa; two sisters, Jinx Davenport and her husband, J.B., of Odessa and Faye Hodgson of Greenville; five nieces and two nephews.
He was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.
Delfy Rey
WINK -- Delfy A. Rey, 21, of Wink, died Saturday, July 25, 1998, at Memorial Hospital and Medical Center of Midland.
Rosary will be said at 8 p.m. today at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wink. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Robert Alvarado officiating. Burial will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Imperial cemetery in Imperial. Arrangements by Cooper Funeral Chapel in Kermit.
She was born in Odessa on Jan. 23, 1977 and lived in Wink for nine years.
SURVIVORS: Father, David Rey of Wink; mother, Margaret Rey of Wink; brother, Adan Rey of Wink; sister, Valerie Rios of Kermit; grandmother, Cecilia Aguilar of McCamey.
Trudie Alexander
MONAHANS -- Trudie Alexander, 91, of Monahans, a homemaker, died Saturday, July 25, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Southside Baptist Church with the Rev. William Hatler officiating. Burial will be at the Monahans Memorial cemetery. Arrangements by Harkey Funeral Home.
She was born in Colmesneil, Texas on May 12, 1907, and was a longtime resident of Monahans. She was a member of the Southside Baptist Church.
SURVIVORS: Son, Milt Alexander of Monahans; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Jewell Bingham
SEMINOLE -- Jewell Bingham, 86, of Seminole, a nurse and homemaker, died Sunday, July 26, 1998, in St. Mary's Hospital in Lubbock.
Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church in Seminole with the Rev. Earnest Wall officiating and the Rev. Larry Patterson assisting. Burial will follow in Gaines County Memorial cemetery. Arrangements by Boyer Funeral Home of Seminole.
She was born Nov. 28, 1911 in Comanche County and lived in Seminole since 1952. She married
Hiram Bingham on Aug. 1, 1936 in Lubbock. She was a nurse at Memorial Hospital in Seminole for 14 years.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Bob W. Bingham of North Richland Hills and Kenneth Dale Bingham of Garland; brother, Bill Childress of Plainview; sister, Annie Jenkins of Lubbock; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Mary Daniel
ODESSA -- Mary Mae Daniel, 85, of Odessa, a childcare service owner, died Sunday, July 26, 1998, at a local hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Ted M. Short and L.D. Green officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was born May 19, 1913 in Bivins and married
John O. Daniel on Aug. 27, 1938. They moved to Odessa in 1945. She was a member of Greenfield Acres Baptist Church.
SURVIVORS: Son and daughter-in-law, Donald and Sue Daniel of Midland; daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Keith Cardwell of Odessa; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
J.C. Hutchison
ODESSA -- J.C. "Hutch" Hutchison, 71, of Odessa, died Saturday, July 26, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Wagram cemetery in Fredonia. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
He was born June 30, 1927 in Fredonia and married
Glynene Powers of Mexico in 1970. He was a Mason and member of the Faith Church of the Nazarene.

ODESSA -- Dorothy Rose Cobb, 62, of Odessa died Sunday, July 26, 1998, in her home.

She was born Sep. 13, 1935 in Terre Haute, Ind.

PONCA CITY, Okla. -- Marvin T. Fletcher, 88, of Odessa, a retired employee of Conoco Oil Company, died Monday, July 27, 1998, at Avalon Place Nursing Center.

He was born in Onia, Ark., and moved to Odessa in 1972 from Ponca City, Okla. He was a Baptist.

He was born in Presidio and had moved to Fort Stockton 48 years ago from Solem Springs, Ark. He was a Catholic.
