He was born in Sentinel, Okla., and moved to Odessa 43 years ago from San Antonio.

She was born in Batson and had been a resident of Crane since 1962. She was Baptist.

He was born in Borger and moved to Andrews in 1954 from Louisiana. He was a member of the Church of Christ.

MIDLAND -- Walton Ovete Loftis, 92, of Midland, a retired exploration and corrosion worker in the oilfield, died Thursday, July 30, 1998, at his residence.

He was born in Columbus, Miss., and moved to Midland in 1972.
