Jared was born in El Paso and moved to Fort Stockton Aug. 10, 1997, from El Paso. He was a Presbyterian.

MERKEL -- Onis Millard Crawford, 81, co-owner and operator of Crawford’s Department Store in Dalhart, died Thursday, Aug. 6, 1998, at Merkel Nursing Home.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at First Baptist Church with the Revs. Marion Fonville and Jimmy Griffith officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill cemetery in Merkel. Arrangements by Starbuck Funeral Home.
He was born in Stamford and was a resident of Merkel. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a Deacon of First Baptist Church.
