ODESSA -- Mary Francis Carl, 91, of Odessa, a secretary, died Thursday, Aug. 13, 1998, at her residence.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Arrangements are by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was born in Cordell, Okla., and moved to Odessa in 1996 from Wewoka, Okla.

KERMIT -- Bud Crump, 87, of Kermit, a retired postman, died Wednesday, Aug. 12, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Grace Temple Baptist Church with the Rev. Johnny Lee Jr. officiating. Burial will be at Kermit cemetery. Arrangements by Cooper Funeral Chapel Inc.
He was born in Coleman County and was a 50-year resident of Kermit. He was Baptist. He was a veteran of the Army Reserves.

ODESSA -- JoAnna Carolina Dampier Land, 63, of Odessa, a retired employee of Seabury Nursing Center, died Wednesday, Aug. 12, 1998.

She was born in Gainesville, Fla., and moved to Odessa in 1975.

MIDLAND -- Gladys Inez Mayfield, 82, of Midland, a retired Midland Independent School District cafeteria worker, died Thursday, August 13, 1998, in a Midland nursing home.

Mayfield was born in Coleman. She moved to Midland in 1946.

He was born in San Luis Pososi, Mexico, and moved to Brownfield in 1950 from Paducha.
