Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Apostolic Tabernacle with the Rev. C.G. Gilmer officiating. Burial will be at East Hill cemetery in Fort Stockton. Arrangements by Fort Stockton Funeral Home.
He was born in Sterling City and lived in Fort Stockton for 76 years. He was Apostolic.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Cecile Smith of Fort Stockton; son, Jim Bob Smith of Fort Stockton; sister, Leota Hart of Sonora, Calif., and Rosa Murray of Del Rio; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

BLACKWELL -- Charlie Leonard Strickland, 93, of Blackwell, a farmer and former Odessa restaurant owner, died Wednesday, June 9, 1999, at New Horizons Nursing Home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Jackie Gestes officiating. Burial will be in Blackwell cemetery. Arrangements by McCoy Funeral Home.
He was born in Point.
SURVIVORS: Son, Michael Leonard Strickland; daughter, Kathryn Lynette Wallace of Odessa; and four grandchildren.

MONAHANS -- Deloris "Dee Dee" Wilks, 56, of Monahans, died Tuesday, June 8, 1999, at her residence.

GRAND PRARIE -- Elmer C. Moody, 84, of Andrews, a retired employee of the city of Arlington, died Friday, June 11, 1999, at Permian General Hospital.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Southland cemetery with the Revs. Charles Savage and Robert Burns officiating.

He was born in Grand Prarie and moved to Andrews in 1997. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Jewel Moody of Andrews; daughter, Phyllis Adkins of Andrews; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
James Crysup
James Charles Crysup, 84, a retired electrician, died Friday, June 11, 1999, in a local nursing home.
Memorial services will be scheduled at a later date by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
He was born Aug. 7, 1914, in San Antonio.
He had been a resident of Odessa for 10 years.
He was an Army veteran and Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Son, James Travis Crysup of Smithville; daughters, Esther Ruth English of Whitney and Mary Elizabeth Blanch of Hebronville; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

PRESIDIO -- Nick Fuentes, 70, of Presidio, died Saturday June 12, 1999 at his residence.
Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Church in Shafter. Burial will follow in Shafter cemetery with father Arturo Bustamante officiating. Funeral arrangements are by the Memorial Funeral Home of Marfa.
Nicolas Fuentes was born in Shafter. He worked in ranching and was a supervisor in the Texas Highway Department.

Kendall Osborn
PECOS -- Kendall Osborn, 70, of Pecos, a retired employee of the Highway Department, died Wednesday, June 9, 1999.
He was born in Idalou and moved to Pecos in 1969. He served in the Navy in World War II.
A rosary will be said at the Martinez Funeral Home Chapel Monday at 7 p.m. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at St. Catherine Catholic Church in Pecos and burial will follow at the Mt. Evergreen cemetery. Funeral arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.

ODESSA -- Glenn Reeves, 66, of Odessa died Saturday June 12, 1999 at Medical Center Hospital.
Services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Tuesday June 15, 1999 at the First Baptist Church with Dr. Ernest Easley officiating. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

He was an accountant for Star Fidelity.

ANDREWS -- Leona Selby, 75, died Friday June 11, 1999 in Permian General Hospital.
Services will be Tuesday June 15, 1999 at 3:00 p.m. in the Assembly of God Church in Hugo Oklahoma with Rev. Billy Davenport officiating.
Burial will be in the Restland cemetery in Boswell, Oklahoma under the direction of Mt. Olive Funeral Home.
She was born in Okemah, Okla., She moved to Andrews in 1949. Her husband preceded her in death on August 13, 1973.
Survivors: Sons, Thomas Selby of Odessa and Jack Selby of Andrews; daughter, Carole Martin of Andrews; step-daughter Mary Thompson of Andrews; sisters, Juanita Nieman of Andrews, Myrtle Davenport of Andrews, Imogene Wilson of Glendale, Ariz., and Alta Routon of Sulpher, Okla., nine grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
