ODESSA - Letha Mae Farmer Shelton, 73, died Sunday, Aug. 10, 1997, at Medical Center Hospital. Services are set for 4 p.m. Tuesday at the Hubbard Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Rex Clayton officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Hubbard Kelly Funeral Home. She was born July 24, 1924, in Columbia, Mo. and was a Baptist.

Kenneth Chesshire Sr.
ANDREWS - Kenneth Don Chesshire Sr., 63, died Saturday, Aug. 9, 1997, at Medical Center Hospital.
Graveside services are set for 10 a.m. Tuesday at Andrews cemetery. Arrangements by Hubbard Kelly Funeral Home.
Chesshire, who was born June 25, 1934, in Gladewater, was a career Army veteran who served in Vietnam and Korea. He was a member of the Army Officers Association.

GEORGETOWN - Richard H. 'Dick' Jorgensen, 55, died Friday, Aug. 8, 1997.

He was born Dec. 11, 1941, in Midland.

ODESSA - Wilma Faye Lefevre, 81, died Saturday, Aug. 9, 1997 at Medical Center Hospital.

She was born Sept. 14, 1915, in Rule and had lived in Odessa since 1953. She was a Methodist.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Earl Phelix Lefevre of Odessa; son, Jerry Don Lefevre of Odessa; daughters, Shirley Morris of Odessa and Linda Dianne Spragins of Dallas; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Nancy Slater
CRANE - Nancy Slater, 95, died Saturday, Aug. 9, 1997, in the Kermit Nursing Center.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Crane County cemetery with the Rev. Van Dixon officiating. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
She was born in Eastland County and was a resident of Crane for 56 years before moving to Kermit four years ago. She was a Baptist.

CHEROKEE - James 'Hoss' Parisher, 62, a retired Odessa firefighter, died Wednesday, Aug. 6, 1997, in Austin.
Services were held Friday at Cherokee Church of Christ. Burial was at Kuykendall cemetery in San Saba County. Arrangements by Howell-Doran Funeral Home.
He was born in San Saba County and was a resident of Odessa before moving to Cherokee 11 years ago. He was a member of the Church of Christ.

He was born Oct. 3, 1936, in Roswell, N.M., and was a resident of Seminole.

He was born in Wylie County and was a lifetime resident of Seminole. He was a Presbyterian and an Army veteran of World War II.
