He was born in Sulphur, La. He was a 1973 graduate of Odessa High School.

STAMFORD -- Velma Bozeman, 96, of Stamford, a homemaker, died Sunday, June 21, 1998, at a local nursing home.

She was born in Collin County and had lived in Stamford since 1971. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church.

ODESSA -- Ernest Miles, 80, of Odessa, died Wednesday, June 17, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital.

He was born in Mansfield, La., and moved to Odessa in 1976 from Fort Worth. He was Baptist.

GEORGETOWN -- Fran Perry, 71, of Georgetown, retired executive director of Stonehaven Center, died Monday, June 22, 1998, at Park Place Nursing Home.

She was born in Merkel and moved to Georgetown in 1987. She was Presbyterian.
