ANDREWS -- John McIntyre Jr., 73, of Andrews, a retired lease operator, died Saturday, July 11, 1998, at his residence.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday at the Andrews North cemetery with the Rev. William Robert Holmes officiating. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.
He was born in Ladonia and moved to Andrews in 1975. He was a Baptist.
Survivors: Wife, Wanda McIntyre of Andrews; sons, Johnny McIntyre of Jacksonville, Fla., and Jerry McIntyre of Odessa; daughters, Anita McIntyre of Balboa Island, Calif., and Gaye Springer of San Angelo; brother, James McIntyre of West Memphis, Ark.; sisters, Lois Jean Marcum of Chicago, Pat Otto of West Memphis, Ark., and Margaret Homewood of Lakeland, Fla.; five grandchildren.

Francis Oliver
MONAHANS -- Francis Oliver, 93, of Monahans, died Monday, July 13, 1998, in Midland.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Harkey Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at Monahans Memorial cemetery. Arrangements by Harkey Funeral Home.
She was born in Fort Townson, Okla., and moved to Monahans in 1935. She was a Methodist.
Survivors: Son, George Oliver of Spring Town; daughter, Billie Virginia Rowland of Tempe, Ariz.; nine grandchildren and three great -grandchildren.

Manuel Barriga
ODESSA -- Manuel Barriga, 35, of Odessa, died Monday, July 13, 1998, in Stanton.
Services are pending with Odessa Funeral Home.

Maria Alday

ODESSA -- Maria Luisa Alday, 64, of Odessa, a retired cook, died Monday, July 13, 1998, at her residence.

Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church with the Rev. Frank Chavez officiating. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at Hubbard-Kelly Chapel. Burial will be at Ector County/Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

She was born in Edinburg. She was Catholic.

Survivors: Daughters, Amalia Carrasco, Maria Polanco, Maria Lopez, Sandra Alday and Yolanda Chavez, all of Odessa; sons, Filigonio Garcia, Alejandro Alday and Johnny Alday, all of Odessa; brother, Juan Arevalo of Lindsay, Calif.; and 17 grandchildren.

Jose Barriga

ODESSA -- Jose Manuel Barriga, 35, of Odessa died Monday, July 13, 1998, in Stanton.

Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. today at Odessa Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Odessa Funeral Home Angeles Memorial Chapel.

He was born in Odessa.

Survivors: Brothers, George Barriga and Omar Barriga, both of Odessa; sisters, Criselda Barriga, Cleopatra Munoz, Sylvia Rabulcado and Oralia Barriga, all of Odessa.

Pablo Blanco

FORT STOCKTON -- Pablo (Paul) Blanco Jr., 70, of Fort Stockton, a retired business owner, died Monday, July 13, 1998, at Pecos County Memorial Hospital.

Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Barry McLean officiating. Rosary will be said 7 p.m. Wednesday at Fort Stockton Funeral Home. Burial will be at St. Joseph cemetery. Arrangements by Fort Stockton Funeral Home.

He was born in Fort Stockton and was a lifelong resident. He was Catholic.

Survivors: Wife, Susana R. Blanco of Fort Stockton; sons, Daniel Blanco and Jesse Blanco, both of Fort Stockton; daughters, Oralia Mesa, Josie Pacheco and Delores Flores, all of Fort Stockton; brothers, Tom Blanco of Marfa, Albert Blanco of Fort Stockton; sisters, Louisa B. Cobos of Marfa; Esperanza B.Franco of Odessa, Gloria B. Garrison, Anita B. Subia and Leonor L. Blanco, all of Fort Stockton; 17 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

J.C. Rice

SEMINOLE -- J.C. Rice, 81, of Seminole, a retired equipment operator for Gaines County, died Monday, July 13, 1998, at Memorial Hospital in Seminole.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Ernest Wall officiating. Burial will be at Gaines County cemetery. Arrangements by Boyer Funeral Home.

He was borm in Big Spring, and moved to Seminole in 1961. He was a Baptist.

Survivors: Wife, Follia Rice of Seminole; son, Jay Rice of Fairfax, Va.; daughter, Faye Wauson of Midkiff; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Boston Timmons

ANDREWS -- Boston Timmons, 50, of Odessa, a retired employee of Valve Maintenance Corp., died Monday, July 13, 1998, at Sid Patterson Memorial Hospital in Kerrville.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Andrews Old cemetery with the Rev. Ivy Shelton officiating. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.

He was born in Andrews.

Survivors: Wife, Faye Timmons of Odessa; daughter, Tiffany Timmons of Odessa; brothers, Robert Timmons of McAlester, Richard Timmons of Wolforth, Rufus Timmons of Seminole, Elmer Timmons of Houston, Jimmie Timmons, Melvin Timmons and Billy Timmons, all of Andrews; sisters, Janie Westfall of Midland, Faye Mize of Justiceburg, Helen Bolton of Midland, Betty Bowlin of Farmington, N.M., and Eva Savage of Odessa.

Joseph Glover

ODESSA -- Joseph Glover, 83, of Odessa, died Tuesday, July 14, 1998, at Parks Methodist Village.

Services are pending with Resthaven Funeral Home of Oklahoma City. Local arrangements are by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

Jewell Beckham
KERMIT -- Jewell Roberta Beckham, 86, of Wink, a homemaker, gift shop owner and rancher, died Wednesday, July 15, 1998, at Windcrest Care Center in Abilene.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. Bervin Caswell officiating. Burial will be at Beckham Ranch. Arrangements by Cooper Funeral Chapel.
She was born in Thomaston and was a resident of Winkler County for 46 years.
Survivors: Son, Bill J. Beckham of Wink; daughter, Nell Young of Abilene; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Catherine Bivins
MONAHANS -- Catherine Bivins, 53, of Monahans, a licensed vocational nurse, died Tuesday, July 14, 1998, at her residence.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Southside Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill Hatler officiating. Burial will be at Monahans Memorial cemetery. Arrangements by Harkey Funeral Home.
She was born in Cisco. She was a Baptist.
Survivors: Husband, Kenneth Bivins of Monahans; daughters, Robin Acosta of Eunice, N.M., Cindy Kennedy of Odessa; sister, Ruth Hair of Hobbs, N.M.; and two grandchildren.

Francis Henderson
ROBERT LEE -- Francis Lee Henderson, 73, of Robert Lee, a homemaker, died Monday, July 13, 1998, at her residence.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Paint Creek cemetery with the Rev. James Sanders officiating. Arrangments by Shaffer Funeral Home.
She was born in Robert Lee and was a llifelong resident. She was a Methodist.
Survivors: Sons, Jimmy Henderson, Otis Henderson, Benny Henderson and William Henderson, all of Odessa, and Johnny Henderson of Midland; two step-sons, Ricky Henderson of Granite Shoals, Steve Henderson of Abilene; brothers, Larry Jack Rabb of South Texas, Wilfer Rabb of Houston; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

ODESSA -- Pablo Ramos, 67, of Odessa, a retired ranch hand, died Wednesday, July 15, 1998, at his residence.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Iglesia De Dios Nueva Vida En Christo with Tomas Flores officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.
He was born in El Mulato, Ojinaga, Mexico, and had lived in Odessa for one year. He was a Baptist.
Survivors: Wife, Socorro Ramos of Odessa; daughter, Azucena Elizabeth Hernandez of Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico; sons, Miguel Angel Ramos of Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Pablo Cruz Ramos Jr. of Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Juan Guadalupe Ramos of Ojinaga, Chihuahua; brothers, Santiago Ramos of Odessa, Gabriel of Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Alvaro Ramos of Presidio, Alberto Ramos of Andrews; sister, Antonia Valenzuela of Ojinaga, Chihuahua; and one grandchild.
