COLEMAN — Charlotte M. Smith, 60, of Coleman, a homemaker, died Tuesday, Aug. 17, 1999, at her residence.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Walker Funeral Home Chapel with Gary Day and Sam Wilson officiating. Burial will be at Coleman City cemetery. Arrangements by Walker Funeral Home.
She was born in Levelland and moved to Coleman from Kermit in 1991. She was a Church of Christ member.

Glen Tongate
SEMINOLE — Glen Perry Tongate, 79, of Seminole, died Wednesday, Aug. 18, 1999, at Memorial Health Care Center.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Seventh Street Church of Christ with Leo Copeland and James T. Smith officiating. Burial will be at Gaines County Memorial cemetery. Arrangements by Boyer Funeral Home.
He was born in Brownwood and moved to Seminole in 1991. He was an Army veteran of World War II, and he was a Church of Christ member.

ODESSA — Billie K. Wolter, 69, of Odessa, died Sunday, Aug. 15, 1999, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Emmanuel Lutheran Church with the Rev. Phil Konz officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
SURVIVORS: Son, Elton Wolter of Colorado Springs, Colo.; daughter, Marilyn Boyer of Hanau, Germany; brother, Myrte Nichols of Illinois; four grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
Mary Anita Stovall Mitchell
ODESSA— Mary Anita Stovall Mitchell, 74, of Odessa, passed away Friday, Oct. 8, 1999, at her residence in Odessa. She was born July 13, 1925, in Devol, Okla.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Church of Christ, Sixth Street and Jackson, with Don Turskey and Roy Smalling officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Mitchell moved to Odessa in 1955 from Granite, Okla. She was a checker for Walgreens Drug Store for many years. She was a member of the Church of Christ on Jackson and Sixth Street, and member of the Young at Heart. She loved to cook and was a stickler for cleaning house.
She was preceded in death by: husband, Lester Stovall; brothers, Dewey Morgan Jr., J.P. Morgan and Don Morgan.
She is survived by her husband, Earnest E. Mitchell, of Odessa; two sons, Glen Stovall of Chandler and Billy Stovall of Odessa; two brothers, Ken Morgan of Brookville, Ohio, and Jim Morgan of Odessa; three sisters, Jan Crumpley, Bettie Gelnar and Wanda Hagar, all of Odessa; two granddaughters, Lanita Hudson and husband, Greg, of Lexington, Ky., and Brianna Stovall of Odessa.
Pallbearers will be Jim French, Russell Neal, Darren Wilkerson, Paul Henry, Tommy Kennedy and Jason Wilkerson.

Birty Beatrice Riley
ODESSA — Birty B. Beatrice Riley was called to be with her Heavenly Father on Thursday, Oct. 7, 1999. She was born Jan. 12, 1916, to George and Kizzie Morris in Santa Anna. She came to Odessa in 1947, and was married
to Sim Robert Riley, May 25, 1949, by the Rev. Jimmy Dolan (now deceased) at Immanual Baptist Church.
She was a charter member of Wesley Evangelical Methodist Church and taught Sunday school. She was a devoted wife and loving mother.
She is survived by her daughter, Maxine Hensley of Odessa; her son, Curtis W. Bilbrey of New Braunfels; her daughter-in-law, Evelyn Bilbrey of Big Spring; her brother, Welsey Morris of Odessa; three sisters, Alice Williams, Vera Edwards and Lora Davis, all of Tool; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Kizzie Morris; her husband, Sim R. Riley; her son, Jerry Dean Bilbrey; her sisters, Georgie, Birtha, Juanita, Lucille and her son-in-law, John N. Hensley.
Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday, October 11, 1999, in the Welsey Evangelical Methodist Church with the Rev. Ronnie Newton officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction of Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
Public visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 10, 1999, with the family to receive friends from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Ina Faye Brazeal
ODESSA — Ina Faye Brazeal, 74, of Odessa, died Oct. 7, 1999, at Avalon Place Nursing Center. She was born Nov. 10, 1924 in Roby.
Mrs. Brazeal moved to Odessa in 1971 from New Orleans, La. She married
Lloyd Brazeal, Oct. 23, 1980, in Odessa. She was a homemaker and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Horace Lee Gist, May 8, 1969, and brother, Robert Elam.
She is survived by her husband, Lloyd Brazeal of Odessa; son, Larry Gist and his wife, Cherryl of Midland; two step-sons, Jim Brazeal of Broken Arrow, Okla., and Daniel Brazeal of Odessa; one sister, Joveda Jackson of New Orleans; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, Oct. 11, 1999, at Ector County/Rosehill cemetery with the Rev. Jimmy Law officiating. Arrangements by Frank Wilson Funeral Directors.

Rosa L. Pearson
ODESSA — Rosa L. Pearson, 91, of Odessa passed away Wednesday, Oct. 6, 1999, in a local hospital. Mrs. Pearson was born March 16, 1908, in Cement, Okla. She married
Clifton Pearson in 1926 in Chickasha, Okla., and he preceded her in death. She had been a resident of Odessa since 1965. She was an active member of AARP and helped develop the Northside Senior Citizens Center, where she was a member of the bridge club.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Josephine A. Warlick.
She was survived by four grandchildren, Mickey Warlick of Houston, Janet Martin of Hobbs, Margaret Cox of New Berg, Ore., and Dawn Gray of Las Cruces, N.M.; one nephew, Timothy Keleher of Odessa; one niece, Roslyn McIntyre; 13 great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 11, in the Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bob Bratcher officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park in Midland. Arrangements are under the direction of Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
Jenetta Barton
KERMIT— Jenetta Barton died at her home in Kermit on Oct. 5, 1999, at age 89.
Memorial services for Mrs. Barton will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Kermit at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 12, with the Rev. David Weyant officiating and the Rev. Beth Harrington assisting. Cremation arrangements were made by Cooper Funeral Home.
Following graduation from the University of Texas in 1931, Mrs. Barton began teaching in Kermit. She married
Clyde Barton on June 5, 1932. Mr. Barton preceded her in death on November 8, 1994.
Mrs. Barton was one of the founding members of the First United Methodist Church of Kermit and remained active in the church throughout her life. She held offices in the local church as well as in the Texas/ New Mexico Conference.
Her survivors include three daughters and their families: Phyllis and Stanford Lehmberg and son Derek; Marjory and Charles Irwin and daughters, Meg and Beth; Margaret and John Williford; and one son John Barton.
The family suggest memorials to the First United Methodist Church of Kermit, the American Parkinson’s Disease Association or to the Winkler County Library.
