Services are scheduled at 2 p.m. Monday at First United Methodist Church in Jal, N.M., with the Rev. Patti Butts officiating. Burial will be at Jal cemetery in Jal, N.M. Funeral arrangements by Calvary Funeral Home in Eunice, N.M.
He was born in Hamilton and has been a resident of Jal, N.M., since 1995. He was a member of First United Methodist Church and served in the U.S. Army and the Reserves.

CALVERT - Lizzie B. Murray, 89, secretary, died Sunday Aug. 10, 1997, at her residence. Services were held Aug. 15 at Garrett Grove Baptist Church in Calvert with the Rev. E.W. Carter officiating. Funeral arrangements by Paul Funeral Home in Marlin.
She was born in Calvert, and was a lifelong resident. She served as choir member, secretary of the church, vice-president of the choir, treasurer of the mission society at Garret Grove Baptist Church.
