BIG SPRING - Douglas Warren, 60, a pilot, died Monday, Aug. 18, 1997, in Big Spring.

Services will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with the Rev. Allen Blanks officiating. Burial will be at Trinity Memorial Park. Arrangements by Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home.

He was born in Coahoma and was a resident of Big Spring, previously of Odessa.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Lora Warren of Big Spring; sons, Lelan Warren of Dallas and Gene Warren of Stonewall; mother, Faye Warren of Coahoma; brother, Doyle Warren of McAllen; and a sister, Barbara Goswick of Snyder. Charles William McGuire

BIG SPRING - Charles William McGuire, 72, of Odessa, died Sunday, Aug. 17, 1997, in a Big Spring hospital.

Services are pending with Nalley-Pickle and Welch Funeral Home in Big Spring. Juan Chavez ODESSA - Juan Chavez, 43, of Pecos, died Sunday, Aug. 17, 1997, at Medical Center Hospital.

Services are pending with Pecos Funeral Home.

Juan Ortiz Chavez

ODESSA - Juan Ortiz Chavez, 43, laborer, of Pecos, died Sunday, Aug. 17, 1997, at Medical Center Hospital.

Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. today at Santa Rosa Catholic Church with the Rev. Antonio Mena. Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery. Funeral arrangements by Pecos Funeral Home.

He was born in Pecos and was a lifelong resident. He was a member of the Catholic church.

SURVIVORS: Daughters, Myra Aguilar of Roswell, N.M.; Melissa Chavez of Fresno, Calif. and Michelle Gomez; mother, Christina Chavez of Pecos; brothers, Gabriel Chavez of Lubbock; Bennie Chavez of Lubbock; sisters, Tacha Mendoza of California; Socorro Mesa of Pecos; Lidia Perez, Mary Varella and Bertha Germazo all of Pecos; Paula Chavez of Odessa; and Isabel Garcia of Hobbs, N.M.

Napolean Pete Daniels

ODESSA - Napolean Pete Daniels, 66, contract welder, died Saturday, Aug. 16, 1997, at Medical Center Hospital.

Services will be at 10 a.m. today at the Rose of Sharon Baptist Church with the Rev. H.L. Steger. Burial will be in Sinset Memorial Gardens. Funeral arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.

He was born in Troup and lived in Odessa for 59 years. He was a Mason, Chairman of the Deacon Board. He was veteran of the Korean Conflict in the Air Force.

SURVIVORS: Mother, Ella Clinton of Odessa; son, Danny Bernhard Daniels of Arlington; daughters, Teresa Carol White of Odessa; and Natalyn Temple Daniels of Houston; and three grandchildren.

Anna M. Rogers

ODESSA - Anna M. Rogers, 91, of Odessa, died Tuesday, Aug. 19, 1997, at Deerings Nursing Center.

Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Curtis Brewer officiating. Funeral arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.

She was born in Tupelo, Okla., and came to Odessa in 1954 from Wichita, Kan. She was a member of Bethel Assembly of God.

SURVIVORS: Daughter, Shirley Johnson of Wichita, Kan.; sons, Bobby Rogers of Goldey; Jerry Rogers of Midland; E.V. Rogers of Odessa; sister, Margie Padilla of Norwalk, Calif.; 18 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Louie Clawson Jr.

BANGS - Louie Edgar Clawson Jr., 76, a retired truck driver, died Tuesday at Winkler County Memorial Hospital.

Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Bangs cemetery in Bangs with the Rev. Randy Mullin and Joseph Jones officiating. Arrangements by Harkey Funeral Home of Monahans and Bangs Funeral Home of Bangs.

He was born in Commanche and came to Monahans from Big Spring. He was a Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Sons, Bobby Clawson of Bangs, Ronald Robey and Mike Robey, both of Big Spring; daughters, Tammy Jones of Monahans, Ireen Reed of Truscott and Brenda Ragsdale of Austin; brother, B.F. 'Bunk' Clawson of Snyder; 15 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Jack Flukinger Sr.

ODESSA - Jack George Flukinger Sr., 77, a retired employee of Exxon, died Wednesday, Aug. 20, 1997, at Medical Center Hospital.

Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Friday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church with the Rev. Mark Woodruff officiating. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors Chapel. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.

He was born in Houston and was a resident of Odessa. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church and of the Marine Corps League.

SURVIVORS: Daughters, Susan Bond of Odessa and Sandra Edge of Midland; son, Jack G. Flukinger Jr. of Odessa; sisters, Jean Ford of Houston and Joan Wilkerson of Tuscon, Ariz.; six grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Frankie Freeman

SEMINOLE - Frankie Freeman, 88, a Gaines County clerk, died Tuesday, Aug. 19, 1997, at Memorial Hospital in Seminole after an illness.

Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. today at Gaines County cemetery with Tommie Roberts officiating. Arrangements by Boyer Funeral Home.

She was born in Gorman and was a resident of Seminole since 1936, moving from Lubbock. She was a member of First United Methodist Church.

SURVIVORS: Daughter, Mary Lee Reese of Anaheim, Calif.; brothers, Hugh Clearman of Lawn and Blanton Clearman of Lamesa; sisters, Wardine Moore of Seminole and Othel Creager of Kauffman; and two grandchildren.

Betty Maddox

ALMA, Ark. - Betty Maddox, 72, a retired telephone operator, died Wednesday, Aug. 20, 1997, at her residence.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Victorious Life Ministries in Alma, Ark. with the Rev. Bo Harvey officiating. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

She was born in Fort Smith, Ark. and came to Odessa in 1958 from Fort Smith. She was a Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Husband, Roy Maddox Sr. of Odessa; sons, Buddy Robb of Alma and Roy W. Maddox Jr. of Odessa; daughter, Sandra Hamilton of Odessa; mother, Jewel Preston of Van Buren, Ark.; brother, Jim Preston of Van Buren; sisters, Virginia Bates and Pat Martin, both of Fort Smith and Johnnie Owens of Van Buren; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Victoria McDowell

ODESSA - Victoria Desarae McDowell, 16-month-old daughter of Phoebe McDowell and David Naverrette of Odessa, died Wednesday, Aug. 20, 1997, at Medical Center Hospital.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Temple Baptist Church with the Rev. Randy Unruh officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Odessa Funeral Home Angeles Memorial Chapel.

She was born in Odessa and was a resident of Odessa.

SURVIVORS: Parents; sister, Meagan Leanne McDowell of Odessa; grandparents, Tony and Rachel Naverrette of Rule and Deanie Robinson of Odessa; great-grandparents, Truement Dolloff of Seminole and Clara and Doyle Robinson of Odessa.

Lillian Taylor

ANDREWS - Lillian E. Rittimann Taylor, 79, owner and operator of Lil's Beauty Bar from 1953-1983, died Tuesday at her residence.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Andrews Old cemetery with Ron Alexander officiating. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.

She was born in Boerne and was a resident of Andrews. She was an Episcopalian.

SURVIVORS: Daughter, Barbara Pool of Andrews; son, Michael Taylor of Big Spring; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
