Bobby Dell Brown
GOLDSMITH Bobby Dell Brown, of Goldsmith, died Dec. 2, 1999, at his residence. He was born Aug. 28, 1934, in Hobart, OK. Mr. Brown lived in Goldsmith for 27 years. He was employed by Shell Pipeline for 39 years and retired in 1991. He was a Baptist. His father, Thomas D. Brown died December 3, 1999.
Funeral Services for Bobby and Thomas Brown will be held at 2 p.m., Mon. Dec. 6, in the chapel of Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors with the Rob Scofield officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
He is survived by his mother, Odessa Brown of Odessa; son, Ray Hollingsworth and wife Connie of Aztec, N.M., daughters; Tammy Hester and husband George of Odessa, Shannon Teague and husband John of Goldsmith, grandchildren; Diana, Justin and Jason Hollingsworth, Ski and Shawn Herndon, Stephanie and Stormey Laws, Dustin, Thomas and Devin Teague and a longtime friends and companion, Beverley Brown Bates of Lake Thomas.

Thomas D. Brown
Thomas D. Brown, 87, of Odessa died Friday, December 3, 1999, at his residence. He was born March 29, 1912 in Oscar, Oklahoma. He was a graduate of Baylor University and married
Odessa Norman, May 2, 1934 in Graham, Texas. He worked with the U.S. Bureau of Mines before joining Shell Pipeline Corporation in 1942. He retired in 1973. He moved to Odessa in May of 1999 from Rockport. He was a Baptist.
He was preceded in death by his son, Bobby D. Brown, December 2, 1999.
Survivors include his wife, Odessa Brown, of Odessa; three grandchildren; Ray Hollingsworth and his wife Connie of Aztec, N.M., Tammy Hester and her husband George of Odessa, and Shannon Teague and her husband, John of Goldsmith. He is also survived by 10 great- grandchildren, brother Charlie Brown of Beaumont and sister Ruby Gladys Connelley of Ft. Worth.
Funeral services for Thomas and Bobby Brown will be 2 p.m., Monday, December 6, 1999, in the chapel of Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors with the rev. Robert Scofield officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Frank Wilson Funeral Directors. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday.

Eunice Clara Hailes
Eunice Clara Hailes of Odessa, died Dec. 2, at medical Center Hospital. Eunice was born, Eunice Clare Gibson in the Oklahoma Territory, Aug. 6, 1906, and was the second oldest of 13 children who observed the waning years at the turn of the century of the American Frontier and the waxing dynamic changes of the modern 20th Century.
Funeral Services will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 5, at Eisenhower Church of Christ with Burt Groves officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Hailes moved to Odessa in 1943 and was a faithful member of the Eisenhower Church of Christ and Sherwood Church of Christ throughout her Christian walk.
She is preceded in death by her husband; Hansford Pete Hailes, sons; Larry Hailes and Kenneth Hailes.
She is survives by sons; Herbert Hailes of New Braunfels, Cecil Hailes of Odessa, Wesley Hailes of Gardendale, Joe Hailes of Seminole, daughter; Erma Garrison of Odessa, Lee Stanfield Bell, Marjorie Gallas of Brenham and Jane Williams of Odessa. She also had 25 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She also is survived by her brother; O.T. Gibson of McAlister, OK, sisters; Bonnie and husband, Carman Pursley of Lawton, OK, Mary Ella Codrington of Midwest City, OK, numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Vonda Lee Grames
Vonda Lee Grames, 72, died December 4, 1999, at Medical Center Hospital.
She was born February 14, 1927 in Carmi Illinois.
She married
Donald Grames, June 13, 1959 in Odessa.
Mrs. Grames was a long-time resident of Odessa. She was a business woman and former co-owner of Accurate Auto Upholstery.
Survivors include husband, Donald Grames of Odessa; son James Allen Grames and wife Linda of Lompoc CA.; daughter Karen Govorchin and husband Rex of Englewood FL.; niece Deanna Lou Moore. She has three grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Lee Elby Broome
ODESSA Lee Elby Broome, 70, died at his residence Thursday, December 2, 1999.
He was born November 20, 1929, in Columbia, Miss. He served four years in the Air Force. In 1950, he married
Doris Davis in Hattiesburg, Miss. In 1952, he moved his family to Fort Smith, Ark., and started his own TV repair shop. In 1962, he moved his family to El Paso and began his own business called Sunrise T.V. Service. In 1977, they moved to Odessa where he worked for Montgomery Ward and Morris Caffey until he started his own business in 1986.
Lee was a deacon and Sunday school teacher for 45 years. At the time of his death, he was a member of Crescent Park Baptist Church and taught a mens Sunday school class.
Lee was greatly loved by his wife, Doris; children, Michael Broome and his wife, Brenda, Richard Broome and Gina Caraway and her husband, Joe; grandchildren, Jason and Jonathan Broome, Janet and David Broome, Kevin Broome, Kelli Umansky and Shane and Shilo Williams. He is also survived by his brother, Conner Broome; and sisters, Lou Roddy and Glen Breland.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 5, 1999, at Crescent Park Baptist Church with the Rev. Johnny Dickerson officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

James Hallmark Cline
ODESSA James Hallmark Cline, 68, of Odessa passed away Monday, Nov. 22, 1999, after a brief illness. He was born Dec. 9, 1930, in Fort Worth.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 24, 1999, in the chapel of Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors with the Rev. Clydel Chapman officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Jim graduated from Pampa High School and the University of Texas. He served in the Korean War from 1950 to 1954 and was awarded the Marine Commendation for Bravery and the Purple Heart.
Mr. Cline worked in the banking industry and was a charter member of Crime Stoppers and a lifetime VFW member, as well as a member of the Eagles Lodge.
He is survived by his wife, Ann Cline of Odessa; daughters, Caprice Cline Bauer and her husband John of Nevada City, Calif., Leesa Cline Sanders and her husband Robert of Kingwood, Terra Cline Adams and her husband Dwight of Austin and Tonya Cline Paul and her husband Scott of San Diego, Calif. His grandchildren include James Sanders, Arielle and Alexandra Bauer, Meggie Rose Adams and Allison and Evan Paul. He is also survived by his sisters, Norma Stephenson of Pampa and Charlotte Edmondson of Pampa, and his brother, Thurman Cline of Fort Worth.
