Glenn B. Jeffery
ODESSA — Glenn B. "Jeff" Jeffery Jr., 74, of Odessa passed away Friday, Nov. 12, 1999. Mr. Jeffery was born Aug. 12, 1925, in Shidler, Okla., to Viola and Glenn B. Jeffery Sr. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served during World War II. He married
Pauline Graham on April 19, 1944, in Seminole, Okla., and they moved to Odessa in January 1946. He was employed by Phillips Petroleum Company for over 40 years and retired in July 1986. He was a member of Vine Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Pauline Jeffery of Odessa; one son, David Jeffery and his wife, Monica, of Houston; one daughter, Glenna Coudding and her husband, Natheon, of Hobbs, N.M.; two brothers, Carl Jeffery of Cookson, Okla., and Robert Jeffery of Taylor, Mich.; one sister, Rose Mary Taylor of Glenpool, Okla.; three grandchildren, Natrice Ables of Hobbs, N.M., Ross Coudding of Albuquerque, N.M., and Glenn Jeffery of Houston; and two great-grandchildren, Jeffery and Alesia Ables of Hobbs, N.M.
The casket will lie in state Sunday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. in the Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 15, 1999, in the Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bobby Phillips officiating. Military graveside services will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction of Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
Active pallbearers will be Ricky Bowen, Darrell Bowen, David Jeffery, Natheon Coudding, Ross Coudding and Glenn Jeffery. Honorary pallbearers will be all Phillips Petroleum Company retirees.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society or Vine Baptist Church, 2200 22nd St., Odessa, 79763.

Lyndon Ewell Lambert
SAN FRANCISCO — Lyndon Ewell Lambert, 41, died at home Friday, Nov. 5, 1999.
A memorial service was held Monday, Nov. 8, 1999, at the Chapel of Grace Cathedral in San Francisco.
He was born Jan. 9, 1958, in Odessa. He was a 1977 graduate of Permian High School and was a graduate of St. Edwards University in Austin.
Lyndon lived in New York City before moving to San Francisco in 1989 where he and his partner Bobby Wise founded the company George, a high design pet products company with stores in San Francisco and Berkeley.
He is survived by his mother, Joann Lambert of Odessa; father, Hal Lambert of Odessa; his twin, Louis R. Lambert; and sister, Elizabeth Lambert of Austin; and his brother, Blake Lambert of Odessa.
Jean Pittman
ODESSA — Zelma "Jean" Pittman passed away in her home with her children and grandchildren at her bedside. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. "Jean" was a wonderful friend to all who knew her. Through her love and prayers she touched numerous lives. She attended the First United Pentecostal Church of Odessa for many years. Jean encountered physical disabilities throughout her life but it never stopped her from reaching out and praying or sharing with others. She will always be remembered for her strength and Faith in God. "Jean" exchanged her feeble, fleshly body for a glorious heavenly one on Nov. 11, 1999.
She was born Nov. 19, 1925, in Idabel, Okla.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at First United Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Terry Pugh officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, O.L. "Ted" Pittman, and her daughter, Gearline Pittman.
Survivors include her sons, Teddy Pittman and Tommy Pittman, both of Odessa, Dwaine Pittman of Scurry and Ronny Pittman of Odessa; daughters, Diane Scott of Odessa and Earline Simmons of Austin; brother, Jim Turnage of Greenville, Miss.; sisters, Evelyn Yeo and Agnes Hattaway, both of Shreveport, La., Mardella Coats of Metairie, La., Lela Bowyer of Austin, Betty Perkins of Springtown and Sue Lewis of Clinton, Miss.; 18 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Earl Sims
ODESSA — Earl Sims was born Oct. 22, 1909, in Comanche County to William and Elizabeth Bobo Sims. He passed away on Thursday, Nov. 11, 1999, at the Regency Village Care Center in Austin.
Graveside services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 15, 1999, at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. John Taylor of Kingston Avenue Baptist Church officiating.
The family will receive visitors from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
Mr. Sims married
Belva Hasley Oct. 18, 1931. They came to Odessa in 1944. He had worked for himself for many years as a floor mechanic laying tile and linoleum. He later went to work for Odessa College as a custodian, retiring in 1974. He and Belva moved to Austin in 1997 to be closer to their family. He was a member of Vine Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Belva Sims of Austin; sons, Herbert Sims and Gary Sims and his wife, Ann, all of Austin; his sisters-in-law, Georgia Woolsey and Mary Wilkins, both of Odessa; granddaughter, Tina Shands and her husband, Stephen, of Austin; and great-grandson, Alexander Shands of Austin.

Harvey Aaron O’Neal
ODESSA — Harvey Aaron O’Neal, 91, of Odessa, died Wednesday, Nov. 10, 1999, at Medical Center Hospital.
He was born Sept. 9, 1908, in Novice. He married
Katherine Flanagan in Coleman, Dec. 3, 1932.
Mr. O’Neal moved to Odessa in 1946. He was a heavy equipment operator for Midwest Equipment Inc. He was a member of Sherwood Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Katherine O’Neal of Odessa; sons, Bob O’Neal of Richardson, J.D. O’Neal of Odessa; daughter, Zona Fryman of Odessa; brothers, Raymond O’Neal of Kansas, Jesse O’Neal of Lubbock, Boyd A. O’Neal of McKinney; sisters, Ruth Reece and Ruby Flanagan, both of Brownwood; 14 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, 1999, at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors Chapel with Rev. Tom Hiser and Dr. Mike O’Neal officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Ora Freeman Walker
ODESSA — Ora Freeman Walker, 88, formerly of Odessa, died Sunday, Nov. 7, 1999, in Lewisville. She was born Dec 5, 1910, in Steele, Mo.
Mrs. Walker moved to Odessa in 1957 from Artesia, N.M. She was a homemaker and, when living in Odessa, was a member of Crescent Park Baptist Church. In 1995 she moved to Carrollton where she was a member of Woodlake Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J.D. Walker, and a daughter, Ann Smith.
She is survived by daughters, Mary Olsen of Walnut Creek, Calif., Jimmie Green of Austin and Kathy Belt of Carrollton; two sisters, Jenny Highfill of Little Rock, Ark., and Helen Cox of Carrollton; brother, J.T. Freeman of Sharadin, Ark.; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 11, 1999, in the chapel of Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors with her sons-in-law, Del Olson and Carroll Green, officiating. Interment followed at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Robert Jeremy Savedra
ODESSA — Robert Jeremy Savedra was born Oct. 5, 1979, in Grants, N.M., to Teofilo and Sue Savedra. He passed away on November 9, 1999.
A funeral Mass will be said 11 a.m. Friday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton Catholic Church with the Rev. Mark Woodruff officiating. A rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Robert came to Odessa in 1983 and graduated from Permian in 1998. He was attending Odessa College. Robert had worked at Broncho Chevrolet in the parts department for one year. He enjoyed hunting for arrow heads and was an avid animal lover. He was always adopting pets from the animal shelter.
Survivors include his parents, Teofilo and Sue Elaine Savedra of Odessa; his sister, Allison Savedra of Odessa; his grandparents, Lillian and Teofilo Savedra of Grants, N.M., and Lela Brown of Odessa.
