ODESSA — Michael Jamie Gray, the infant son of Michael Glyn Gray and Jessica Maruska of Odessa, died Thursday, Nov. 4, 1999, at Medical Center hospital.
Graveside services are scheduled for noon Monday, Nov. 8, at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Jim Brown officiating.
SURVIVORS: Parents; sister, Ashley Gray of Odessa; grandparents, Steve and Carla Maruska of Odessa and Glyn and Julie Gray of Odessa.
Mauro Madrid
ALPINE — Mauro Gonzales Madrid, 45, of Alpine, a construction worker, died Thursday, Nov. 4, 1999, at Big Bend Regional Medical Center.
Services were held Saturday at the Geeslin Funeral Home chapel with the Revs. Javier Sandoval and Auden Lujan officiating.
Burial followed at Holy Angels cemetery.
He was born Jan. 15, 1953, in Ojinaga, Mexico and was a Jehovah’s Witness.

MIDLAND — Andres "El Choluco" Brito, 75, of Midland, a landscaper, died Friday, Nov. 5, 1999, at Memorial Hospital and Medical Center.
Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Primera Inglesia Bautista with the Rev. Ernesto Gil Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview cemetery. Arrangements by Reyes-Garcia Funeral Home.
He was born in Aspermont in 1924 but lived in Midland for more than 60 years.

ODESSA — Charline E. "Char" Brownell, 91, of Odessa, died Sunday, Nov. 7, 1999, at her residence.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First Presbyterian Church with Dr. Phillip W. McLarty officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was born in Kansas in 1908 and moved to Odessa in 1951. She was Presbyterian.

Margie Everett
ODESSA — Margie Dean Everett, 73, of Odessa, died Saturday, Nov. 6, 1999, at a local hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Immanuel Baptist Church with the Rev. Mark Riley and David Howard officiating. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Winkler County cemetery. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was born in Knox City in 1926 and moved to Odessa in 1990. She was Baptist.

MIDLAND — Nola Prestella "Jo" Helbert, 83, of Midland died Saturday, Nov. 6, 1999, in Midland.
Graveside services are scheduled for 1 p.m. today in Resthaven Memorial Park with the Rev. John C. Taylor officiating. Arrangements by Ellis Funeral Home.
She was born in Grimes County in 1916 and spent her early life in San Angelo. She moved to Midland in 1935.

PECOS — Jacob Hernandez, 37, of Alpine, a funeral director, died Friday, Nov. 5, 1999, at Big Bend Regional Medical Center.
A rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Alpine. Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 9, 1999, at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Holy Angel cemetery. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home. Hernandez was born in 1961 and was Catholic.

RISING STAR — Isabell Bernice Ingram, 81, of Rising Star, a former Odessa resident, died Saturday, Nov. 6, 1999, in the Rising Star Nursing Center.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 9, 1999 in Higginbotham Funeral Home’s chapel with the Rev. Vallarie Fisher officiating. Burial will follow at the Rising Star cemetery. Arrangements by Higginbotham Funeral Home.
She was born in Rising Star in 1918. She lived in Odessa for more than 35 years before returning to Rising Star.

Alvanee Lombard
AUSTIN — Alvanee "Billie" Lois Lombard, 78, of Austin, a former resident of Seminole, died Saturday, Nov. 6, 1999, in Austin.

She was born in Drumright, Okla., in 1921. She moved to Seminole in 1936 and moved to Austin in 1997.
SURVIVORS: Daughters, Maxine Goen of Anton, Alma Majors of Midland and Jean Williamson of Austin; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 21 great-great grandchildren.

ABILENE — Lula Dora McKissack, 96, of Abilene, a former resident of Odessa, died Saturday, Nov. 6, 1999, in an Abilene nursing home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at the First Church of the Nazarene in Abilene with the Rev. Garland Wallace officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Elliot-Hamil Funeral Home.
She was born in Franklinton, La. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.,

ODESSA — Jane Elizabeth Schroeder, 76, of Gardendale, died Saturday, Nov. 6, 1999, at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa.

She was born in 1923 in Bryan and grew up in Oklahoma.
