Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Thursday at Santa Rosa Catholic Church. Rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Martinez Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Mount Evergreen cemetery. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.
He was born in Juarez, Mexico, and was a lifelong resident of Pecos. He was Catholic.

SAN DIEGO — Barbara Stepp, 77, of San Diego, a registered nurse, died Friday, Oct. 22, 1999, at El Cajon Valley Convalescent Center.

She was born in Monroe, La., and was a former resident of Odessa. She was Presbyterian.

FORT WORTH — Billy Ray Turner, 66, of Fort Worth, former owner of Jenny Trucking Co. and Turner Best Service, died Saturday, Oct. 23, 1999, in a local hospital.

He was born in Pawnee, Okla., and moved to Odessa in 1965 from Hobbs, N.M.
