She was born in Kermit and had been a resident for 54 years. She was Pentecostal.

KERMIT Santiago Hernandez Sr., 70, of Wink, a retired construction worker, died Thursday, April 6, 2000, at Kermit Health Care Center.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Roberto Alvarado officiating. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at 512 S. Spruce St. Burial will be at Kermit cemetery. Arrangements by Cooper Funeral Chapel.
He was born in Pecos and had been a resident of Wink for 46 years. He was Catholic.

ODESSA Enrique Hignojos, 52, of Odessa died Thursday, April 6, 2000, at Memorial Hospital and Medical Center in Midland.

She was born in Seminole, Okla., and had been a resident of Lovington for 40 years. She was Baptist.

Charles Keith Hafer
ODESSA Charles Keith Hafer was born on Aug. 10, 1927, in Vernon to Glenn and Gladys Jones Hafer. He passed away on Nov. 15, 1999, at Medical Center Hospital.
Memorial services are scheduled for 1 p.m. today, Wednesday, Nov. 17, 1999, at the Sunset Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Ron Rennegarbe of Christ Lutheran Church officiating. Services are under the direction of Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
Charles was reared in Vernon and served in the U.S. Army during World War lI. He married
Jo Ann Evans on March 17, 1958, in Lubbock. He had been a resident of Odessa since 1947. Mr. Hafer was self-employed working in the oil field as a mechanic. He was a member of the American Quarter Horse Association and numerous other horse associations. He was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife, Jo Ann Hafer of Odessa; his son, Charles Keith Hafer of Odessa; his daughters, Gwendolyn Hafer Cawthon of Las Vegas and Charla Geers-Butler of Odessa; his brother, Jimmy Hafer of Florida; his sisters, Patricia Hafer Shimp of Kingsland and Anna Jo Baker, both of Kingsland, and Glenda Jenkins of Lakeway; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; four nieces and six nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family has asked that donations be made to Christ Lutheran Church, 2010 N. Lincoln Ave., Odessa 79761.
Andy Norbye
ODESSA Andy Norbye, 7, of Odessa, passed away Nov. 15, 1999, in an Odessa hospital.
He was born Nov. 5, 1992, in Odessa, to Chuck and Jan Norbye.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Highway Temple Assembly of Odessa with Betty and Grover Yocham officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Odessa.
Andy was a first-grader at Noel Elementary School in Odessa. He was a straight "A" student, he had perfect attendance and he always made 100s on his spelling tests.
Andy never met a stranger and loved to be around people. He loved baseball and especially hockey and the Odessa Jackalopes. He also loved doughnuts. Andy was good at helping people and he always kept his room clean.
Andy is survived by his parents, Chuck and Jan Norbye of Odessa; one sister, Becky Williams of Odessa; one brother, Charles Norbye of Odessa; grandparents, Ray and Mabel Williams of Odessa, Pete and Dorice Norbye of Limon, Colo.; aunts and uncles, Bobby and Debbie Williams of New Mexico, Barbara and Norman Hurst of Odessa, Jackie and Donna Williams of Odessa, Peggy and Rick Ashcraft of Limon, Colo., Karen and Jerry Easton of Holly, Colo.; and several cousins and friends.

Pedro Landa
ODESSA Pedro Landa, 52 years of age, passed away Sunday, Nov. 14, 1999, in Kansas. He was born May 6, 1947, in Farr.
Mr. Landa was a body man with Vasquez and Taylor body shops.
He is survived by his wife, Irene Landa; his sons, Pedro Landa Jr., Paul Landa, Thomas Lee Landa and Rene Vasquez, all of Odessa; daughter, Ruby Landa of Odessa; sisters, Lucia Vasquez and her husband, Charlie, of Odessa, Lucinda Martinez and husband, Antonio, of Odessa, Juanita Macias and husband, Chavello, of Greeley, Colo., Silvia Romo and husband, Antonio, of Hugoton, Kan., Evangelina Salas and husband, Ruben, of Denver, Colo.; three grandchildren, Pedro Landa III, Makyla Landa of Odessa and Marky Landa of New Mexico.
Mass for the Christian burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of San Juan Catholic Church at North Ranchito. Burial will follow at Rose Hill cemetery.

S.D. Pettigrew
ODESSA S.D. Pettigrew, 83, of Odessa, died Sunday, Nov. 14, 1999, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Chapel with Johnny Young officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
He was born Oct. 13, 1916, in Horatio, Ark. He married
Lillian Hartman May 27, 1996, in Laporte.
Mr. Pettigrew attended A&M University in Stillwater, Okla. He was a school teacher in Freeport. He was a sharpshooter in the Army during World War II. He received the Asiatic Pacific Campaign Medal, the Army Occupation Medal and the World War II Victory Medal. He worked as a machinist in the oilfield for many years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church. He had taught Sunday school at First Baptist and also at Crescent Park Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Lillian Pettigrew of Odessa; sisters, Beatrice Pettigrew of Atwater, Calif., Naomi Fuller of Torrance, Calif., and Evelyn Hurtado and husband Glenn of Arcadia, Calif.; and brother-in-law, Harold Osborne of Torrance, Calif.
