ANDREWS — Melton Wayne Carruth, 49, of Arlington, a court reporter, died Saturday, July 29, 2000, at Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth.

He was born in Andrews. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was Baptist.

SEMINOLE — Vera Clark, 85, of Seminole, a retired elementary school teacher, died Saturday, July 29, 2000, at Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness.

She was born in Helena, Ark. She was a member of the Retired Teachers’ Association, Garden Club and the Hospital Auxiliary. She was Episcopalian.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Jacque Starkey of Seminole; seven grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

KERMIT — Maxene "Moon" Fearn, 75, of Kermit, a bookkeeper, died Saturday, July 29, 2000, at Kermit Health Center.

She was a Kermit resident for 43 years.

ODESSA — Charlyn Ellen Hull, 62, of Odessa, a Midland Memorial Hospital employee, died Saturday, July 29, 2000, at her home.
